It's just that she loved Clark before anyone else and she stuck with him despite all the "Wall of Weirdness" she would eventually come to learn was attributed to Clark's arrival on Earth-- so of all of his friends, it would seem she is the most empathetic towards him and admiring, thereby the pre-mature leap to form a romantic association between them. It's easy to attempt to translate that kind of genuine friendship into some sort of romantic connection, but with Chloe, that would be an error-- Chloe is easily swayed by her emotions and could be a HIGH vulnerability to Clark, later on as Superman, if anyone discovered that association between them. I love the 2nd clip where Clark just disappears from the screen. Personally I never liked the idea that people could see a "blur" when Clark (as well as the Flash) are running. They are supposed to be so fast that the eye can't even see them. They don't leave colored trails behind them.
Never understood how Clark never found the spaceship in the cellar after over 13 or however many years of living on that farm. Lol he never went in the cellar that whole time?

There was also the scene after Clark rescued Lex from being run over by a car (was it?). Then Lex wound up in a mental hospital and begged Clark to help him escape, he said he knew Clark could do it after he witnessed the rescue from the speeding car. I think that was early on in season 3 or 4.
Kevin Pogue there was also another episode with a kid who could touch someone and see their death, not their future. He touched Clark and just saw the Superman cape. However the Lex scene is with the elderly woman from season 1
The writers were so hung up on love triangles and shoving Lois down our throat that they missed out on opportunities to catapult this show to the levels it deserved. I do have to commend the dedication and maturity Tom lead Clark towards, not only was I captivated by the Smallville story but I also wanted to discover more of the Superman myth :)
Lex was the best character. He always tried doing the right thing. And really did love Lana and did the best that he could to take care of her and keep her around. I love Clark but he always belonged with Lois they have way more in common and more chemistry. Clark was always unintentionally messing with Lanas head only cuz he never trusted her
There's quite a lot of stuff he didnt die in, but he wasnt the reason the show "went down" imo. The universe building took priority over the story, thats when it started to go down hill, but at the same time it was the first real occasion where you saw the show as a superhero show. It's a shame he never became Superman, he did everything Superman did, fought all of his villains, formed a Justice League etc, everything apart from fly and wear the suit.
Knowing when this video popped up on UA-cam it missed the Lois and Clark reveal which I believe is the best one especially the one where Lois jumps in his arms. It was a great reveal because even though Lois knew he was the Blur, Clark told her on his own accord without any major event to cause him to share, and he shared his secret with Lois more nervously than any other person he has shared it with. Even with the Lana reveal in the barn she said that she was leaving for good, so he felt compelled to tell her even though she already knew.

You're looking for the episode called Asylum. I found a clip that ends right before he says that line and that's it. UA-cam does have the episode for sale for $2 though.
I agree to a point- but if you are a teenager trying to "fit in" (and I think at the time Welling was 19 playing a 15 year old) it would be shocking to hear that you were an adopted alien. I still laugh when he says "what are you saying, Dad, that I'm from another planet?" Well, yeah.
I didn't like Lois in the story in Season 4-8, because there was still too much of Lana and Chloe around that took up scenes with Clark, but I have to admit that in Season 9 - 10, they really did a decent job of having her and Clark become a couple.
The only "I know your secret moment" in this video was number 1, 2, and 3.. number five was more like "this is 'your secret' that you didn't know of" and number 4 was Lana finding out. Anyhow, if this was my video, I'd put the scene where Clark tells Lois, who knew already, and then jumps on him. I liked that better than any one of these.
@rocketdave It's supposed to be from Lana's perspective. Apparently people don't see the blur of Clark that we see. Later in Season 8, Clark says that he has to slow down so that the traffic cameras catch the red and blue blur to let people know he is there. At full speed he just looks like he appears and disappears if people were to see him.
you do realize the post date of the video is 2008 , right? season 8 just started, and lois didn't find out (for real, she did before but memory removed) til last ep of season 9
Anyone else notice the “screw up” if you wanna call it that, at 3:05 there isn’t that breaking the sound barrier sound and he just kinda disappears instead of having the tracers behind him as he runs out of the room like it usually does. I have no idea if this is actually a screw up or if it was intentional, but I’ve always wondered about that.
I think it's some kind miss, because there is the same scene from another pov (at another moment or episode) and we see the regular sound and effect unlike in the video here.
Yep, I think it's some kind of miss, because there is the same scene from another pov (at another moment or episode) and there is the regular sound and effect you describe.
They were showing it from everyone else's POV. No one hears it. And it makes sense because otherwise someone would have brought it up by then. Especially Lana, as she probably should have heard it a hundred times by now.
I understand why this was your opinion on the video but there were so many legendary moments of Clark's secret being revealed. Him Telling Pete should have been in there, When he saved Lois and the Sheriff in that memory episode that should have been in there, Chloe seeing Clark catch a car, him falling in a cave when that Indian chick sees him. Lionel Luthor finding out, him telling Lois he was the blur, it was still a good video just not the scenes I'd have used.
Clark should have told Lana from the beginning. Pete was a whiny idiot about it when he kept poking into Clarks secret before knowing it. Now he's pissed even though Clark told him he wouldn't want to.
I loved all seasons, but I have to admit, after Lex found out, the series definitely lost that amazing suspense....... I realized, it was probably my fav thing about this show...... Rosenbaum's acting helped that A LOT...... he was brilliant Lex
I genuinely believe that part of how lex turned out was down to clark, he didnt trust him at pivtol moments, he judged him even when he was wrong. The massive transition to lex darkside was his quest to have the whole world, i remeber the episode with the dream and he was married to lana with kids and him and clark where still friends....he chose the wrong path that's probably the only thingthat seperates him from clark....in my opinion.
i was actually trying to watch smallville but it wouldnt open so i just decided to watch youtube, I didnt realize this was the show smallville so I almost shit myself when I saw the intro.
I can't stand Chloe. She's for Clark and Lana and the next moment she's threatening her or telling Clark to leave her alone. All I wanted was some consistency! Then she's still in love with Clark, then she's in love with Jimmy, but secretly in love with Clark, but then not in love with Clark, then likes Davis, then marries Jimmy, then runs away with Davis and has psycho romantic dreams about him, then has no interest in Davis, but Jimmy/Henry dies, now Oliver is her greatest love ever.
Had Clark just been honest with Lex from the start, they would have been the best of friends and unlike Clark, who lies almost every time he speaks, Lex was telling the truth here. Clark could have been a hero, but Jonathon and Martha made Clark into a fearful, pathological liar. Doesn't matter what else Clark does, the fact that he will lie in an instant makes everything he says unreliable and all his motives are suspect. This scene was one of the best in the series. IMO, Lex was never a villain in the entirety of Smallville. Michael Rosenbaum and the writers did a spectacular job with Lex in Smallville.
It comes in all colours... green, blue, yellow, red, orange, purple, black, white, pink, silver, gold, etc... half of them are real... some are hoaxs by Lex Luthor or other villains. If you are meaning the purple glow in Kar-El's fortress... that isn't Kryptonite...

you do realize the post date of the video is 2008 , right? season 8 just started, and lois didn't find out (for real, she did before but memory removed) til last ep of season 9
This video was release in 2008 and Clark told her in 10x4 or 10x5 ( late 2010)
I love how Tom present a high school boy character :)
It annoys me that we barely got one season with Lana knowing Clark's secret then she's written out soon after.
This is why I love this Lex. so charming so scary. it just feel good like Dr.Doom in the old fantastic 4.
i think we can all say that no matter what when someone says "i know your secret" we all flip out
Clark should have told Lana from the beginning. Pete was a whiny idiot about it when he kept poking into Clarks secret before knowing it. Now he's pissed even though Clark told him he wouldn't want to.
rofl " The handle broke Chloe" That's ok I'll just rip off this 400 pound 8 inch thick steel door like its styrofoam
you should add also the one where lois finds out
can you PLEASE fix the sound! The soundtrack in between is deafning. It probably woke my neighbours since its is SOOOO much louder than the rest xD
It did not go to shit, it just became a silly reminder of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
Chloe was the first one to call him Man of steel.
wait just a damn second! at 5:05 is clark flying, because didn't he have like a mental block preventing it!?
That was just a powerful highjump
In other episodes you can see him leaping across the tops of skyscrapers
Ahhhh, spoilers, I still am on season 6
Me too
I'm on season 1
I just started season 7, Let me tell you, it is addictive, I LOVE CLOE!!
I'm with Lex. Superman is far too dangerous to be left to do what he wants. The injustice story line demonstrates that clearly.
I loved all seasons, but I have to admit, after Lex found out, the series definitely lost that amazing suspense....... I realized, it was probably my fav thing about this show...... Rosenbaum's acting helped that A LOT...... he was brilliant Lex
But the clip with Chloe in the hospital bed in this video is season 5 episode 1 - Arrival.
I always felt that once Chloe found out about Clark, she was always kind of sloppy keeping the information discrete.
If i was Clark, I wouldve tore Chloe's fine self uppppp.
Couldn't you try falling in love with her first instead of.......resorting to basic animalistic behavior?
If Lex memory about Clark's power can be erased, Clark should dig some info how Tess do it and maybe he will erase Lana memory.
There's a pretty noticeable goof in the 2nd clip. At 3:07, instead of running off at super speed, Clark just disappears into thin air.
Lana>Lois
Pete was second. Clark' parents first to find out!
Really missed this show I watched abt 5 times already
The musical score made #5, it enhances the drama! Smallville always had great music
You didn't read the title that said "Clark," and "Smallville," and put 2 and 2 together? lol
No I was too lazy
lol
there are different colours of kryptonite and they all have different effects on him.
Number 4 was the best
3:10, they forgot the effect in that scene the second time around.
And Seven years later, it still bugs me.
davincent98 it was done intentionally, to show how fast Clark is moving from perspective of human eye
I agree, Lana finding out should be number one
Clois is awesome in regards to Superman, but Clana is an epic romance in regards to Smallville.
No other CW show will top off Smallville
its true ..led knowing who Clark really is and potentially can be is thee biggest Reveal..after 10 episodes.. Bravo..nice video
good work!;D
Smallville was awesome!!!
Smallville was as bad as having Anakin Skywalker the one who built C3P0.
Kristen looks great!
it was awesome
I prefer when he tells Lois.
I think its in season 5 episode 1 called arrival
He looks so young here!!! Now he's so different (not a bad thing, though).
He doesn't know he was flying.
Why isn't clark catching Chloes car on this list or Alicia
It comes in all colours... green, blue, yellow, red, orange, purple, black, white, pink, silver, gold, etc... half of them are real... some are hoaxs by Lex Luthor or other villains.
If you are meaning the purple glow in Kar-El's fortress... that isn't Kryptonite...
