Very well done. Was having trouble understanding the concepts involved in corn hybrid seed development. This video explained everything clearly.

Actually farmers, land, sellers, consumers all are dying because of the New man made creations gmo(genes interchange with bacteria or virus) and associated chemicals needed to cultivate or grow, and also these new creations can not withstand slightest climatic changes. Why the hell you cheat our Indian farmers and consumers. Don't you love my India?

The irony is how many people cry about GMOs today and praise what they call "organic" when there is no real organic by definition.
There is a real organic, and we understand there probably needs to be a balance of organic and gmo but! Because of all the pesticides, many farmers have lost their lives of acute pesticide poisoning. Very dangerous

It is possible to produce a new hybrid variety by pollinating inside two hybrid varieties?
Yes, possible. It is called double crossed hybrid.
Selective breeding is a slow process
BUT THERE IS OTHER WAY OF BREEDING " THE DOUBLE HAPLOID TECHNIQUE "
This is so silly, there are open pollinated corn varieties that can produce 112 bushels per acre! No hybrid needed.
