Gosh the genocide joke at the beginning hasn't aged well - the rest is absolutely golden!

It's not a genocide joke. The Taliban is a political organization. Saying there will be no Taliban in the future is analogous to saying there will be no Republicans, or no Freemasons. Name any example you like. They're not a race of people.
What made the joke age poorly is that, not only was Bin Laden NOT a member, as we know the Taliban ended up returning to power in Afghanistan like nothing happened.
