This was the VERY first car I drove solo. I was 16 & just one day after I got my license I drove this exact identical car. Same color, model, everything. It belonged to an elderly wealthy woman that I used to do various errands & chores for. She sent me on an errand across town & gave me the keys to her 98. I was in absolute heaven driving this big luxury living room. I was EXTREMELY careful when driving this. I just couldn't believe she let me take her car by myself after only having my license for 1 day. I'll never forget that woman as long as I live.

My parents had a 75 Olds 98 Regency. Lovely car with the 455 V 8 and it had power and solid on the road. Not a darn thing went wrong with it up to 80,000 miles other than a new heater thermostat. Try that on these cars now!

One of my all time favorite automobiles. Oldsmobile by GM made wonderful cars back inthe 1970's. I am certain you have sold this beauty. Great looking car. Thank you for your video upload.

My aunt had a 1974 Delta 88, my mother's 1969 Buick Electra could run it off of the road, it had a 430-4 in it, it could go 90 mph in no time, her Old's was not only slow, but was not near the car that 225 was!

The most comfortable seat ever installed in ANY car at ANY price. They're Barcoloungers on wheels. LOVE this car. The fuel economy gauge is cool.

Beautiful car! My parents had one exactly like that, except it was white with a white vinyl top and maroon interior. It was a beautiful car and drove and rode like a dream!

There are 3 cars that I regret selling : the 1976 Oldsmobile 98 Regency, a 1978 Lincoln Continental Town Car with only 12,xxx miles, and a 1958 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.

I owned one of these vehicles back in 1989. Drove it across the country..had the motor pulled, stripped, blueprinted, bored, and totally rebuilt. After that the 5000 pound auto cruised at 160 without breaking a sweat. I mean..I could hold it there as long as I had the road..it was incredible. Got my heart broke by a farmgirl from Montana and lost everything! Ended up selling the motor to a 16 year old kid for 500 bux...OUCH! BUT...he put that motor in a cutless and raced it..he hardly ever lost.

This takes me back to when cars weren't slick and streamlined at all. Pre-CAD.

In the fall of ‘75, I took delivery of a light blue 98 Regency coupe and when people asked me about gas mileage, I told them if you buy a car like this, you don’t worry about gas mileage... they didn’t care for that, but they got into a Toyota and when they came back with a tepid response, I told them my 98 eats Toyota’s for breakfast...

What an immaculate olds! I may have said this before, but when I was younger we (my grandparents) had one identical to this. Olds was all my gramps would ever roll with.

One thing, what are the purpose of those 3 clear lights there? The 1975 version had one orange light underneath the clear one. Now the orange light is rendered. When I think of those clear lights on the sides oh, I think courtesy lights are on the doors

Personally, I am a Buick Electra Limited Park Avenue man, I have owned 4 of those beautiful automobiles, now I have a 1975 Park Avenue, I am the 2nd owner. They are the largest 4-door hardtop G.M. ever built.
Mine is black exterior with dark red velour interior. It has 70,000 actual miles. It looks brand new. It is not a daily driver, I've thought about selling it a few times, each time I back out of it. I wish I had more time to drive it.

the door repair is simple you need new nylon rings on the striker pins, i home make them from pool sweep hose rings stronger than originol.
