Thanks for vid. I picked up a stainless steel Primula on Ebay because I try to avoid aluminum in my cookware. They say to throw out the very first cup - might have shavings or residues from the factory. I set a timer and it took exactly 5 minutes on my glass top stove at medium high (7). I pulled it off the burner and it continued to steam a bit. Probably not a good idea to leave it on the burner too long - would overheat the seals and eventually ruin the machine. Coffee grounds go into the compost can. This is seriously good coffee. I think they say "4 cups" because they're referring to the small 2-oz. Italian espresso cups so the next step is to find some of those - good luck finding _anything_ not made in China - but anyway that's probably a good way to limit yourself from drinking a month's worth of caffeine in 15 minutes :)
As I was saying someone had threw out a bean I am British so I call it a bin New York who cool with a container plastic container orstorage container something like anyway it says you know free please take it's free and it was brand new the same one that you using to show us how to do espresso I just just got it and I said oh wow thanks for the information and it's a big one good early morning night since you're in the New York to lovely video and you went step by step 🎉❤❤ thanks again and I'm going to do it right now oops I forgot I ran out of decaf I'll get it in the morning❤
Great and informative. funny too, "resist the urge to open the lid"..., then you open it hzhahahaha. I know you did it for the video but great video. I just bought mine and now I know how to use it! Thanks!
I know a 12 cup pot is supposed to make 12 cups but I have the feeling it is way less than 12 ..... I was thinking about like 6 -7 cups .... of strong coffeee... I usually drink 4-5 cups of coffee [8oz cups] I want to make atleast 4 cups of coffeee and I will ofc do capuchinos and stuff like tht..... what size do u recomend???
The sugar to coffee ratio for Cuban coffee is typically 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 mL) for each espresso-sized serving of coffee for moderate sweetness, and 1-1½ tablespoons (15-22 mL) for extreme sweetness. You can eyeball your measurements, or use a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio of sugar to coffee. :)
I bought one new on clearance for $2.50 but it was missing instructions. You must have better water filtration than I do. I never use tap water here in my area.. so much crap in it 😭
Depending on how you make them. If you make them like shown here in a Moka pot, it’s regular coffee, add sugar it’s Cuban coffee. If you order at restaurant and cafes they use espresso machine so they are a strong shot, again with a lot of sugar added after extraction.
Is it just me ??? This dude is wasting precious time from my precious life with endless / useless jibber jabber ... Please Pedro ?? Get on with the the freak’n relevant details ??? I’m waiting for him to start introducing me to his freak’n friends & family ...

After brewing, run the pot in cold water to immediately cool it down to avoid injury!
😊 thank you so much for the information I was going to the store I'm in New York and somebody

When adding sugar to Cuban coffee, what’s the unit of measure in a Crap Load?

But thumbs up anyway .. At least I finally know how to use this thing my neighbor found & gave to me ...
I just bought one today at farm and fleet for 19.99 + tax. Going to try it tomorrow morning.

Excellent!

Holy $hit this vid coulda been shortened to 13 seconds. Thanks for the play-by-play of your life though
lol, it's during covid, had nothing but time.
I thought Cuban coffee is strong coffee? We had in Florida and the coffee is small and strong which you only need one for the day?!

Yeah right I ordered one from Amazon but took 2 weeks to get it
If I knew I prefer to pay more but get it faster.
Amazon suck. They don't deliver in 2 days and can always find it cheaper elsewhere.
I got mine from Amazon and got it in 2 days.
I give up. All I wanted was him to show me how to use the coffee pot. We're halfway through the video and he's now talking about Cuban coffee.
Same process albeit sans sugars.
People could find another video if they’re concerned with their time consumed by this nice guy. Stop complaining and move on.
Way too much talking too little action
Espresso maker? Lol. It's NOT an espresso maker.
I really hate when they waste 3 mins giving you their history!!!! Just get to it! Fucks sakes...
3 minutes! Just about 8 minutes of chat here.
Over half the vid is useless. Misrepresentation of a how to.

Dude, wash your espresso pot before filing a video. Gross.
I would guess that you have access to a better choice of vocabulary words rather than use the phrase "crap-load"?
