Summer in the Lab internship program at EPFL - Deep dive into research!
Join Damian, a 3rd-year Bachelor's student in Physics at EPFL, as he delves into the world of research. Track his journey at The Swiss Plasma Center, where he focuses on automating and improving Helios, a machine built by previous SIL interns. Over the summer, he experiences the dynamics of collaborating with a large scientific team, sharpens his problem-solving skills, and reaffirms his passion for Physics.
His internship ends up with a research symposium, a 3-minute presentation in which Damian gives a comprehensive review outlining the progression and key discoveries from his project, spanning the realms of physics, plasma physics, automation, electro & thermodynamics, and electromagnetism.
