BP is actually a good rework (A tier at least, barring a heal), but the fact that he's such a fan favourite and all in all a BEAST in the comics, everyone was expecting a bit better than this.

Come on... Black Panther can do sooo much than just scratching, punching, kicking. His vibranium suit absorbs kinetic engery & blast them back to his enemies (this should be his physical reflection skill in the game), he has energy shield, energy booster jet to fly like Iron Man, he even made Immortal Hulk blind using vibranium based weapon, has vibranium energy spear, and so much other Wakandan tech weapons.

The unis in this mid-month were obviously rushed. Most attacks not changed, a lot of copy&paste, quick attacks with very few hits, contradictory abilities. It's like return of the 2020 uni.
If they do that atleast make it good, the damage sucks compared to other unis

I was most disappointed that the Awakened skills of Quasar, Spectrum and America were exactly the same and not unique at all.
Falcon is too op with the suit made by wakandans and the king of wakanda is just ok ? I guess nothing will go wrong if they make bp a META character... (Just my opinion tho 😅)

I am really disappointed in BP. I mean the combat class is weak so even if he would be the best combat character, that doesnt mean he would be too overpowered. Also, BP gets obliterated by toxic meteor due to the lack of heal.

The big problem of all this is that BP had only 1 uniform when the movie "Black Panther" was out and after that NOTHING people since then waited, then they tease us a BEAUTIFUL uniform just for it to be mid ok or even bad. Plus he is literally one of the most Smart person in earth he and shuri were the only people Who find a way to get knull out of Wakanda he is literally the King of Wakanda....this is not enough.
That big slash on 4th skill is definitely does that big burst of damage at the beggining. But this slash is too short. For me BP feels like Cosmic Ghost Rider with only one short burst of damage.
Dev's are creating meta according to new t3 like Falcon and vision and black order , so whales will buy packs to t3 and transcend instantly , while reworking black panther , captain Marvel ,Wolverine , they gonna give minimal buff cause we Fanboys build them regardless 😬 even in this update blue marvel is meta cause he is new t3 character , they need to justice to old character too 🙁🙁

Nm intentionally makes b list characters like moonstone and super giant op as heck to sell their uniforms.
Our fan favorites like logan, spidey and tchalla get shafted cos they know we will buy the unis anyway. The only meta mcu characters so far are loki and falcon. And then again they are good only in 1 specific game mode.
Wanda is also a meta MCU character in the game

Looking at him objectively he’s still completely underwhelming. Even 2019 characters are more impressive than him. He has no practical use, clumsy rotation, low damage, and some of the worst survivability in the game for a t3.

I think what's wrong with BP's skill(s) is that he doesn't have at least 1 skill that works like X-23's 4th skill which damages the enemy/enemies continuously. I compared him to X-23 because his attack looks a lot like all of the Wolverine type of characters, the claw animation. If that could be tweak ,maybe at least his 5th skill, it might make a significant difference in his damage output. Just a wild guess though.
Bet they're saving the real juicy BP uni for BP2. But I like that the uniform at least makes him usable. (Falling Giraffe)
The big spike at the beginning is obvious the 4th skill slashes which is not strange at all,he is slow because you don't get to do as many skills as you can with venom for the custom gear difference and of course for the knock back issue he loses time and rotations which kills the time for him... And of course a rage does benefit against a 160% obelisk, it wouldn't if the obelisk was at least 180% or 200% and if you get the procs right
Good morning alex & MFF community. I luv the new original look. However, they made B-panther generic. There's nothing unique about his skills. They took away his energy spear, his kinetic burst from the suit, ect. Give him some old skills back with new twist. Let him either summon soldiers since he is a king or the dead like he does in comics.From what i hear(not having the uniform) he needs his damage buffed a bit more. We need more top notch combat & speed types. To many universe & blast types are meta. Balance the dam game it's 2021. MFF has been out for 6 years now, no excuses.

I believe "Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever" is currently scheduled for July 2022 and they want to save the next big uni for him until then. In the meanwhile they thought they could get some crystals from the 3099 uni now.

Ive been telling people all over the place his damage is actually solid but his survivability sucks (needs a heal and gets interrupted too often). However, he should also get buffs to his damage since this is the King we're talking about (no way Falcon should be stronger than T'Challa). I hope they buff him

An Iconic character and franchise character like Panther deserves much much more detail. No ignore dodge, no heal, no invincibility on regular skills, his uniform is vibranium based, absorbs kinetic energy (as you know) he should have accumulation that absolutely ruins attackers when it counters. This has put a massive bad taste in many agents mouths imo All of you CC's are struggling to find upside. Why not help us get the Devs attention to look under the hood. Game is WAY TOO expensive for a F-Up like this on a character this important to many of us!

Lets change him to speed type (kinda fits) and create a synergy between active skills and auto attack. For example, buffer the 3 into an AA and you get a dodge bonus. Buffer the 4 you get an ignore dodge bonus. Buffer the 5 you get a damage proc. I don't know, need something different
I think what they should've done is on his 4th skill while he's jumping around invisible give him like 20 hits along with accumulation based on damage dealt, then let the spikes drop at the end of the skill. That probably would've helped his damage overall

Maybe people aren’t playing him correctly. Something similar happens with my moonstone and maker. When my maker starts punching with his t3 and the proc activates at the same time, he deals massive damage. U have to wait like 1 second after u press the t3 for him to start punching so if the proc activates in that second his damage is lame. Same with my moonstone, when I do 45and3 and the proc activates in a specific moment this rotation deals more damage than doing 45and6.

Hey Alex, Black Panther is actually a REALLY GOOD character now. Please try your testing with a Rage and play him like Cable/Sharog. In fact, my Black Panther just replaced my Cable in my 5 WBL clears for Knull AND Mephisto… Keep up the great work Bro!!!
They could have made BP more meta he doesn't have to be the best but at least be able to compete with the elites. He still can dominant any game mode after this rework. I was hoping for a BP that can be great at PVP, ignore targeting, heal, etc
when you reach a higher stage, no matter how high your pierce are, he will have a hard time even reaching the 30 bar mark coz he will die even before he gets there
Personally I would like to see Black Panther spend some time at the top of the meta, not because I like the character (though I do), or because of his power level in the comics, or his popularity amongst his fans. I want to see him spend some time at the top of the meta as a tribute to Chadwick Boseman. I don't expect us to see another male Black Panther uniform, since Shuri should be taking over in the next movie, and I think a tribute to a fallen actor is a good reason to risk a little power creep. Just my opinion of course.

I think his constant lack of damage in wbl is due to him getting knocked back almost everytime when knull attacks.
Everytime he gets knocked back you lose 2-3 secs also damage amd in a longer run it adds up and decreases his dps tremendously.
I have been waiting so long for Black Panther to get a rework. I didn't ask or spam "Black Panther needs rework" I just waited. But guess what he got an uniform that doesn't make him compete with any other t3. He has no heal, no great damage and his 5th can be guard broken easily. I hope the devs will buff him like they did to Maker.

Accurate Assessment Alex Thanks.. Just adding that we wanted Rework on BP also as a Tribute to Chadwick Boseman. MFF devs usually do this with fan-favorite characters good or bad uniforms people anyway buy them because they just love the Character.. They just recently nailed the uniform for Iron man literally after decades... They may repeat the same with Spiderman as well. The point being Black Panther definitely deserved more love from the Devs.

i think the best benefit of this uniform is for people like me who didn't bought the solo movie uniform a chance to at least use him to do something, as the civil war uniform didn't aged well
He has a lot of synergy with a rage but thats not to say he's super powerful if you give him one. But considering the immense guaranteed crit he has, native crit damage to make building easier and the enhanced super crits at a 100% activation rate, he definitely seems to be catered to a rage. He also definitely needs invincibility. Without it, he's going to keep getting knocked back
I don’t think MFF is going to make the characters that already had a T3 and get a new uni as good as the new T3s with a new uni. I think the reason would be money. If you already have the T3 it’s less to spend. If they didn’t have a T3 before them it’s more to spend. IE Iron-Man,CM, and Bucky. I’m not saying they’re bad, but not as big of a jump as Vision,The Black Order, and Falcon. Maybe I could be wrong though.

Well I'm getting this uniform. I never use him due to his last uniform not doing much and this definitely makes him a bit more universal in terms of use.
Black Panther needs a rework to his kit and I don't know if his uni passive is actually applying cause it says 50% guard break immunity and yet he gets knocked back in WBL. Ask yourself are you going to play WBU or WBL to get more rewards than WBU gives you. We have been waiting for a good Black Panther rework for a long time and this what we get.. Black Panther needs a rework to his kit like change the fourth skill to give him invincibility or super armor so that he is not knocked back by knull all the time and enhance the 5th skill and t3 skill damage. That's what I think oh also a heal.

I’ll never understand how the combat class is weak I find the speed class to be the weakest only cause the speed class don’t really get focused on that much Luna snow and Corvus glaive and Spider-Man and gwenom are the ones carrying the speed class to be honest while the combat class has cull obsidian, carnage, moonknight, Luke cage, iron fist, hulk, and venom and so on and all of which the characters I named in the combat class would obliterate the characters I named in the speed class I mean I’ve beaten many Luna snows and Corvus Glaives with only red hulk now maybe I’ve gotten lucky outta those 20 times but I don’t think luck works like that

I think it's because they never give him any healing nor invincibility only super armor that's it and that's my guess based off the pro gamer info of black panther.
I use Vision with an energy, and he works pretty good, I don't have any complaints about it.
I think they class the power for every character in the game is by the amount of materials your invested in the character, good example like black dwarf

He has 50% all defensive and super armor. Not sure where you got 50% super armor from

Not against Knull, he has super guardbreak on the knockback. You need invincibility to ignore it

This 3099 uni is the same as the other 3099 uniforms that suck….doing stage 9 knull is pointless, since silk and Elsa can do stage 9, he can’t do anything higher even with a top 1000 build, 25% pierce and 115%extra physical damage…and still can’t survive with 70% physical defense from my cards
