It's funny how these tips are basically:
Use the don't die ability.
It’s no different than any other support hero in the game.
As a support your dueling tip is going to always be the self preservation timing, save for some Moira damage ball or Lucio boop tips

Real talk: ML7 is the best at explaining out of any other guest on the show. A lot of other guest just assume you know a lot of stuff, but ML7 explains everything. He also takes into consideration that the player may be playing on low sensitivity or on a controller which is very helpful.

Oh I know this one! Your heal shots follow the same arc as your disc, so you can scope out the angle with the right click before you throw the disc!

I remember that I was on Gibraltar a while ago, and there was McCree trying to get a cheeky High Noon on high ground near the first checkpoint. I immediately used my boots to jump up to him.
Our Ana saw this and Nano'd me. I bursted him down, took the high ground, then used my ult and gunned down a Roadhog, a Sigma, and a Moira, then threw my frisbee to save the rest of my team from a Death Blossom like how the tip showed, then killed the Reaper. It was the best PotG I've ever had, and I'm not forgetting it anytime soon.
Console players can we just take a moment to appreciate that ml7 gave that controller tip with immortality field😭

The tip was throw the immortality field up and at a wall if you see a sombra transolcate like she's going to emp so she won't hack it when she emps.
I love how his tip against Brig is to just throw the immortality field like a dog toy to make her chase it.
I main brig. I have fallen for this many times before.
ML7's accent just oddly makes this more enjoyable to listen to
its weird for me cuz sometimes its comforting and sometimes it feels like its tickling my ears.
Its a bit hard to use an American accent when you are from Romania.Trust me it took like 3 weeks to speak normal english

You can shoot and heal at the same time but holding both left and right clicks.
Immortally field has the same projectile path as right click.
And can we just call his ult square and his immortality field lamp it’s easier

It doesnt really matter most of the time. Very few comps actually have a damage output to make it worthwhile to even shoot Orisa shields, Her cool down on it is enough to basically make it so she has a practically unlimited amount of shield.
Most of the time with Orisa your goal is to just walk past the shield.

these tips are so advanced ml7 needs to remember the majority of players are gold and not top500, respect to ml7 tho very smart player
If you want to get better at him you have to have game sense of course for anybody and know your matchups. Learning and improving helps you rank up.
All these strategies can be applied in gold, at least the ones that are more gamesense oriented rather than aim oriented.

Tbh I think baptiste needs a few fixes/buffs. I know he's already good but in terms of gameplay I find him kinda clunky. Really think he should have that Arc on his healing reduced or increase his projectile speed a bit.
Also Imo 3 round burst is a nice concept but even that feels odd in overwatch Trying to hit people with that. I wouldn't say I want the rate of fire increased but maybe the space between the 3 bullets if you know what I mean.
Finally I completely think rocket boots is a balanced ability but if bliz doesn't feel like any of the above needs tweeks than just making u able to use the boots faster or scaling the jump so a small crouch would let you jump higher than now would fix the first issue with they clunky healing of baptiste. He'd basically be able to make his own high ground for healing since healing on the ground kinda sucks with him. He'd be a vertical Lucio.
I agree the character is clunky, also has zero charisma. But as a soldier player who likes a more direct approach, I think the character fits this niche very well. Basically a easier to play Ana, who also fits this niche (but for people who like snipers instead of automatic fire). You needs these kind of characters to give more options among the crazy shit of winstons, dooms and genjis flying around. It's a game for everyone at the end of the day, and a healer who plays like call of duty, that's always a positive. More support players.

Just a tip when versing Symmetra- a Symmetra will often use your immortality field to gain 1-2 charge levels on her beam and will usually be the most effective hero in destroying it quickly at max charge then will immediately be melting your team as she won’t have fall of charge. In her case more than most DONT LET HER NEAR IMMORTALITY FIELD.

One tip for reaper: If you stay on high ground listen for his loud ass teleport ability. As soon as you hear him simply drop down and start charging your exo boots, wait for him to inevitably drop down, and super jump back up. He can't do enough damage from there so you can just ignore him for the next 10 seconds.
