I use my salad spinner weekly now and I hadn’t used it in years. My kids eat so much more fruit now that it is prepped and ready to eat. Thank you for these videos.
I want to see your meal prep container storage area 🤣 you always have the best ones & always have different ones so you must have ALOT! Mines a hot mess
Tip for greens: after you wash your greens, dump them out onto a double layer of paper towels and spread it out. Then roll it up and stick in a ziploc bag and it will last for twice as long and be FRESH. No wilting.
Hey there friend. Happy Thursday. I can honestly say I'm secretly obsessed with your meal prep, cook with me, and all other videos that you post!! I don't have little ones to make lunches for or a hubby who needs lunches made, but I'm so interested in those type of videos. I actually use quite a bit of your ideas and I just started using your product washing techniques and fruit too!! I think I love you because of your sarcastic humor!! Your just so much like me it's ridiculous!! Thanks for always making my day and giving me new ideas!! Have a great week!!
I don’t peel mangos. I cut down either side of core then cut a across and down then pop it out of the skin perfect cubes. Kiwi I peel sharp pairing knife chop it up. I use a sharp pairing knife that is the key for fruits.
The turnip greens, just like radish greens can also be cooked the same way as spinach, a bit of olive oil, garlic and seasonings. They're delicious. One thing that I find that takes hummus to another level is to add lemon zest. We also add paprika And btw, hummus is one of thise things you can easily freeze.
You make it all look so easy! The broccoli salad is definitely on my list. I’m wondering if I could use smoked turkey slices instead of the salmon for the bagel boxes? Why not..right?? Great prep video as always, Jen! Oooooooo! Macaroni salad...sausage and biscuits!!! Heavenly! And how I love to see Murphy’s sweet nose peeking over the counter!! How kool that Kiera has a “signature” fruit! ♥️. ♥️🐾
I love broccoli salad but I’ve never made it. My mother in law and sister in law make it for family dinners sometimes and that’s the only time I have it. I’m going to start making it. I would love it for work lunches.
*I've been using my salad spinner the same way to soak all my fruits and veggies for prepping! So glad I saw you do that in a recent video. I did blueberries & strawberries last night, and gala apples are our go to as well.*
Cut the sides around the mango pits with the skin on, slice vertical and horizontal without going through the flesh like you do with avocados then scoop the mango flesh out and boom diced mango goodness 🤤.
I have been doing snack boxes for my husband and son and they love them I’m going to have to try the broccoli salad maybe out some Cauliflower in it too .
I will watch you make hummus EVERY DAY! Lol. It looks so good, I drool each time and i still haven't made it. One day! Goals! That book looks pretty awesome...im thinking about getting it. 🤔
I get into cooking funks frequently but the moment I watch ur videos it's instant inspiration! Love watching them! This one was a good one bc I love making bento style lunches. I might also have to look into that recipe book u have! 😘
Meal prepping like a boss!👊 Honestly, your videos, meal prep, grocery hauls, DITL, whatever, have raised the bar for what I enjoy watching (I still watch plenty of "crap"😆😆)The time and mindfulness you put in is never lost on me🤘❤
I just bought this book last weekend and haven’t had a chance to use it yet. I’m so happy to see that you made some of the recipes and how easy they were to make. I’m going to make some things for next week now. Thank you so much for the inspiration! ❤️
My damn delicious book looks just like your with all the sticky notes marking my fav pages..... soooo many. The breakfast quesadillas are incredible....I swapped spinach for the broccoli and used some jalepeno cheese summer sausage I had leftover from my IF box.... best quesadillas ever and so easy for meal prep!!!! We also made the pancakes... we used blueberries and monk fruit sweetener... so good.... we have them in the freezer and they are great reheated Great video girl Yes, I’m catching up on my days off.....
My favorite hummus recipe is from the first Barefoot Contessa book but I’ve been making hummus since the late 70’s (Moosewood Cookbook version). Meal prep is the best. I definitely have to do it, just have to find the time.
Great Ideas ... I do a lot of prep... I think it helps so much during the week cause I work full time too.. It makes it so much easier to get out the door... never tires of humus😂😂
Getting the most out of a kiwi. Cut the ends like you would a cucumber then take a spoon and slide it under the skin as close as possible(turned over the cup side toward the flesh) then turn the kiwi staying towards the skin so you have a lot of flesh left over then slice or dice.
I appreciate your videos so much! I’m a 25 year old and I do not have much knowledge in the kitchen. I am going to be married soon so it’s been helping me a lot with meal ideas. 😊
You should’ve sliced up the stems too as they are also edible. Just peel them a tiny bit and chop up. I also add them to stir fries. I want that book. I was going to buy it today but Barnes & Noble wants $30 and Amazon wants $6-8 less so I’m going to order it. Can’t wait to get it.
I have a hack for your to peel your kiwis. Cut off the end and the top, just very fine. And then get a big spoon and run it across the inside. Best thing ever :)
Mouth watering flavors, Jen! The broccoli salad, the hummus wraps, heckfire, all of it! Those turnips were absolutely lovely! I'd have been all over them at the farmer's market. Hope you froze their stumps and the broccoli stalks for broth. Great flavors. Thank you for another great meal prep. Saved it! 🌞
Love this. Great ideas, I think I’d enjoy the wraps and the chicken bistro box. I peel and slice my mango and kiwi & cut. It’s easier and I don’t have to store weird sized gadgets. Have you tried golden kiwis? They are not always available but so damn good (I don’t like regular kiwis) if you ever see them at Costco get them, worth the $. Now those I cut in half and eat with a spoon. Question, do you think your homemade hummus tastes more like restaurant stuff combared to prepackaged hummus? I made it once at home and didn’t like it but I love the stuff fresh/homemade so much. Maybe I didn’t blend it enough? I just won’t buy prepackaged hummus anymore. I’ll have to try this recipe out soon.
Your meal prep videos are always inspiring👍 I think i have to buy some smoked salmon tomorrow😋 I realized now that it has been a long time since i've had some. The salmon here is really good. Where i live it's common to eat smoked salmon with scrambled eggs(on bread), and it is really delicious. My way of peeling kiwi is the same way you do it with the pineapples. I find it to be the best way, and i also do the same with watermelon. Im looking forward to your next video❤️
Love this vid! If you ever make it to NYC, you must go to Russ and Daughters for their lox and cream cheese bagel sandwiches. You will never forget the experience.
I like to add cheddar cheese and bacon bits to my broccoli salad (no cranberries or raisins) 😊 and red wine vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar. I think it’s a nice variation
I'm really digging the cook book. I do have crazy question about the book, dose every recipe come with a picture? I've learned I'm a extremely visual person and find myself cooking more if I see what's it should look like. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, Jen. I was wondering if you can make a video on a chicken parmesan lasagna from scratch or something really delicious along those lines. Love your videos. God Bless
Dang woman! Those all look so delicious!! I use a cup a scoop out the mango. Kiwis are a pain, I just use a paring knife to butcher it up lol. That salmon box! 😍 also the parfait containers are too fun ;)
Great video as always! One question - I’m surprised you use metal on your nonstick pans! Aren’t you concerned about scratching the Teflon? I always heard you should Get rid of your pans when they have scratches bc the chemicals ‘leak out’?
How much vinegar do you use when you wash your fruit (per half the spinner full)? I feel like I put too much..but feel like if I dont put as much as I do in, it wont get clean.
I really want some of that broccoli salad! Okay so watching you try to get the plastic off of the cucumber made me think of trying to get a condom off and I laughed out loud!
This came at a perfect time -- I want some good meal prep ideas for the pool so I'm not eating concession food all the time! And I don't think you make hummus very often. 🤷🏻♀️
I cut my mango the same way you do. For kiwi, I sort of do it like a melon - using a paring knife, I cut off top and bottom, then carefully skin the sides with the knife. Love hummus, and those wraps you made! DELICIOUS. We made vegan instant pot maid rites the other night and my 17 was initially skeptical, and then licked her plate clean and said she could eat them every night. Was wondering how your homemade biscuits turned out, they look great!
Love all your videos but this is one of my faves! I will be making the pancake boxes and bagel box (minus smoked salmon as I'm not a fan either.. maybe avocado or turkey or something!). Thanks for sharing!
I never get tired of watching you, I’m a big fan and love being in the kitchen too!!!
I use my salad spinner weekly now and I hadn’t used it in years. My kids eat so much more fruit now that it is prepped and ready to eat. Thank you for these videos.
LAK same!! My fruit never has time to go moldy now!!
Every time you post a video, first thing I do is check the length so I can tell just how excited I can get. LOL. 31:51 is very good! :) Yay!
I want to see your meal prep container storage area 🤣 you always have the best ones & always have different ones so you must have ALOT! Mines a hot mess
That is so true.. they are weird shaped containers sometimes
Tip for greens: after you wash your greens, dump them out onto a double layer of paper towels and spread it out. Then roll it up and stick in a ziploc bag and it will last for twice as long and be FRESH. No wilting.
Wow....it was amazing to see everything all lined up.....I can't imagine! So cute seeing Murphy's little nose popping up....
Jen your my spirit animal !!! As always love your Videos !!! Thanks for all your info and the time you put into your Channel !!!

Love this video - girl, you OWN the meal prep game!! I have also started washing my fruit & veg in vinegar water! Thanks so much for the tip. 😊
*I've been using my salad spinner the same way to soak all my fruits and veggies for prepping! So glad I saw you do that in a recent video. I did blueberries & strawberries last night, and gala apples are our go to as well.*
I have Market Pantry’s (Target) Roasted Red Pepper hummus every day for lunch with carrots and mini peppers! Obsessed!
Boy, Jen you hit it out of the park with this video! I want to make ALL OF THEM!!! They all look great! Love your work!!! Videos!👍🐶💞
Great ideas for snacks and lunches - thanks Jen!!!!

Love my OXO salad spinner - thanks to you for recommending! I use it everyday.
Do you know if the 'brown-is" vingar can be use to wash greens in?
Wow you did amazing and everything looked delicious and healthy! Great ideas. Thank you :)
always love your videos, so many great ideas! Those salad turnips looked interesting :-)
Tzeki ( can’t spell it )sauce would be good on those wraps.
Does the vinegar leave any taste? I love vinegar but my husband is not a fan.

I really want some of that broccoli salad!
Okay so watching you try to get the plastic off of the cucumber made me think of trying to get a condom off and I laughed out loud!
Omg yes!
*Every time I peel the plastic off I think the same thing lol*
The voiceover sounds great!
Murphy wanting for something to drop on the floor. I enjoy that he always manages to be in the videos
So sad that you threw the broccoli leaves away. That's the best part!! Totally could have added them to your turnip greens.
Also you have the best storage containers lol!
Love your content .... 🐕
This came at a perfect time -- I want some good meal prep ideas for the pool so I'm not eating concession food all the time! And I don't think you make hummus very often. 🤷🏻♀️
I always post too soon! I am ALL OVER that Greek chicken box!
I’m deficient in vit d so I take it daily. Also take a multi vit. But beyond that, no
great video as usual ♡♡cheryl
I peel my kiwis with a pairing knife then slice them...
You’re the bomb girlfriend! Another great video!!
