Anyone else watching this Christmas 2023? Watching old 90’s kids TV shows really helps get me into a Christmas-y mood! I also have raging toothache rn, and watching old shows from my childhood when you’re not well is strangely very comforting ❤
Neil Buchanan was my favourite TV Presenter loved Art Attack as a child was amazing, found it very exciting. Neil Buchanan is a very hard working person. He puts so much effort and dedication to his work, which nowadays is unheard of and is very rare. Art Attack won Bafta's twice, they deserved to win as the show was amazing, even BBC's Smart could not beat Art Attack though i enjoyed both, Smart was different and was fun. They both were good, Smart had a funny comic type theme.
Seriously, what is the name of that awesome music for the Big Art Attack? It's been almost 15 years since I last heard it and it's just as fantastic now as it was then.
@ZookanProductions Yes I think that is the reason why Neil doesn't wear his wedding band in the studio segments of Art Attack because of the boiling hot studio lights.
I grew up watching this show, I love it but I laughed when he started tying the garbage bag bow. Imagine getting a gift and asking ‘are these garbage bags?’ 😃
Also, "In your bedroom?" *raises eyebrows* I can see now that he was never really that shy about references to mature themes because they sounds completely innocent to a child.
The Art Attack crafts are very clever, but the Talking Head really frightened me as a child when I first began watching this back in the '90s. So I didn't enjoy it as much as Tony Hart's Artbox Bunch. The Artbox Bunch is both an art show and a stop-motion animated story series in which the late Mr. Hart sometimes interacted with his little humanoid art supplies who get (sometimes) into fixes, often caused by Tacky the spiteful glue-stick.
I will give you brand new sereies of new art attack like old art attack of England in future , are you understand me , haha, I mean that I will create my own art attack show in future in England and This will same like this and I have many ideas of new art attacks that I will do in future for the show so wait and watch and I tell you that I am isha and I am 13 year old and now , I see you in future of brand new art attack , TARA
Hey call me isha my secret Nick name that I can't told anyone is isha the art attack presenter of the future and tell me are you wait only for 7 year for this release of new art attack because than I am 20 year remind you that my name is isha and tell about this future show everyone as you can please🙂🙂🙂🙂
No, they're um... well they're a cardboard tube with a piece of cardboard that makes a "bang" when you pull it. They usually have a little gift in, along with a party hat and a terrible joke. Two people pull them and the person who gets the larger half gets the gift. The bang isn't loud or dangerous, it's just a bit of a shock when you're not expecting it.
Quality time of time and time we could go get some work stuff stuff we can do stuff for stuff stuff we can go get stuff stuff we can go get stuff stuff we can

The Art Attack Christmas episodes is absolutely brilliant and they are awesome.
my mom is so depressed that she lost her VHS copies of Neil's art attack 11 yrs. ago, cuz to her, it's the most valuable treasure.;)
It makes me giggle how excited he gets over the snow, reminds more of when I was... wait, I still get excited over the snow!
i grew up watching this show religiously
In the 90s, Neil Buchanan singlehandedly caused a global shortage of PVA glue and toilet paper.
Thanks so much for uploading this! So many memories!!
I love the way he laughs at his own jokes. I miss this so much!
this man is a genius
wow, what a cool show. I wish, they had this show air in USA, back in the 90s. I would watch this show all the time. :)

Niel is literally my very first Art Teacher. And I'm so proud of it.
Mine too 😊
Neil is my very first environmentalist. He helped save the environment by saving cardboard, bags, plastic, styrofoam, etc.
my mom is sooo crazy about Neil's art attack....she loves doin' art at home! she misses Neil and wants ONLY Neil Buchanan!!!
01:30 "and don't forget your pot" that one raised my eyebrows a bit! ;)
أجمل ذكرياتنا 😢

You're not alone on that one.
I absolutely love Art Attack especially the Christmas ones.
First Neil went to Colorado, then he went to Barbados, then New York (the best), and finally Austria.
@@liamwatson5125 Neil is brilliant
Neil Buchanan what a legend of children's television he produced the likes of Art Attack Finders Keepers Zzzap and so much more
Aww.. I miss watching this when I was little >_
I like how the ornament that he made is all scrunched up,
but the ones that are premade are like perfect spheres.....
I grew up watching this show, I love it but I laughed when he started tying the garbage bag bow. Imagine getting a gift and asking ‘are these garbage bags?’ 😃
You are amazing Neil!!
Who else tried to make the tree and failed?
I noticed in the location scenes TheMeakers Neil can be seen wearing a wedding band on his finger which he doesn't wear in the Art Attack studio.
This is a cracker love it 😊
art attack is older than me! =))
"Looks really classy doesn't it?"
Yeah Neil nothing shows class like a paint covered bin liner :P
The best Christmas show ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Classictv90s Maybe it's because the metal gets uncomfortably hot due to the studio lights?
omg! i miss this. i use to watch this on tv before i go to sleep. :( where is neil now?
the host is so awesome!
I love this guy.
This was my childhood❤️😆
Happy cracking Christmas
Now, obviously ask if you can use these before you rip them off...
"JEREMY?! WHERE DID ALL THE GARBAGE BAGS GO?!?!"
I wonder where the 2nd one is
The music in the big art attack sounds like Boss music in a video game.
binliner wrapping paper???? how are you going to rip it apart?
I watched this episode when i was a kid!!!
CO35 I believe they took Continental Airlines from London Gatwick to Denver International Airport
This is a fantastic episode of Art Attack!
But what world record was it that Neil had beaten?
who's the soundman that Neil introduces at 07:59.
haha that would be so difficult to open!

Also, "In your bedroom?" *raises eyebrows*
I can see now that he was never really that shy about references to mature themes because they sounds completely innocent to a child.
