Yes, some people ship them (including me) because of how close they are, and some people think they’re just bros being bros (which is understandable both ways). There are just some hints that killua may or may not be crushing on gon. Having just rewatched the movie I just feel like adding how funny it was to see him so instantly jealous, and how it calms down 50% after knowing, even gives a compliment. I wasn't sure when to "aaaw" and when to just laugh. Not that the film is the only case but the film really is a cultimation of everything people love about the series so, yep.
I think killua see gon can’t be described just by friendship or love. The way killua looks and feels towards gon beyond that. Gon to killua is someone precious just like an angel that always see him as someone that won’t determine him of right and wrong. The way gon acts toward killua makes killua feel he has a home, a place where someone will always be there for him no matter what he do or happens right now and future, a place to return when he gone to do smth and comeback. Gon itself didn’t judge him or forcing killua to understand how the world’s works or how to be a normal person. And killua value that the most, gladly killua understand quickly what are gon is saying most of them. Gon isn’t a person that completes him like air, but gon is a person that always stay beside him like an angel. I was really sad when in ep 147 when Killua said "This is as far as going" like bruhhhhh...Killua's face was definitely sadder that he will won't be present by his side. They could have been a trio or also joined with kite. But I know, they have their own wills to go where they want but it's a fact that will be friends forever. Damn! I REALLY liked and enjoyed the little detours which were more important than the goal itself. HxH has become my one of favourite animes ever!
yeah tbh so many of these types of animes have dumb endings I feel like I've become ammune to caring. He didn't even introduce Killua to Ging. And I can see if they were seperated for a bit but just like totally off without maybe 2 more episodes (of 2011 show) showing a reunion or something years later? That was just plain bad. Definitely a far cry from what I felt was a very satisfying ending to say, Yu-Yu-Hakusho.

Having just rewatched the movie I just feel like adding how funny it was to see him so instantly jealous, and how it calms down 50% after knowing, even gives a compliment. I wasn't sure when to "aaaw" and when to just laugh. Not that the film is the only case but the film really is a cultimation of everything people love about the series so, yep.

I think killua see gon can’t be described just by friendship or love. The way killua looks and feels towards gon beyond that. Gon to killua is someone precious just like an angel that always see him as someone that won’t determine him of right and wrong. The way gon acts toward killua makes killua feel he has a home, a place where someone will always be there for him no matter what he do or happens right now and future, a place to return when he gone to do smth and comeback. Gon itself didn’t judge him or forcing killua to understand how the world’s works or how to be a normal person. And killua value that the most, gladly killua understand quickly what are gon is saying most of them. Gon isn’t a person that completes him like air, but gon is a person that always stay beside him like an angel. That’s why I always admire both of their relationships and the way they look at each other🥺🥺

I do think they love each other, but they don’t think romantically about each other, and they’ve never said anything about being attracted to one another. Admiration is a platonic thing. I was really sad when in ep 147 when Killua said "This is as far as going" like bruhhhhh...Killua's face was definitely sadder that he will won't be present by his side. They could have been a trio or also joined with kite. But I know, they have their own wills to go where they want but it's a fact that will be friends forever. Damn! I REALLY liked and enjoyed the little detours which were more important than the goal itself. HxH has become my one of favourite animes ever!

yeah tbh so many of these types of animes have dumb endings I feel like I've become ammune to caring. He didn't even introduce Killua to Ging. And I can see if they were seperated for a bit but just like totally off without maybe 2 more episodes (of 2011 show) showing a reunion or something years later? That was just plain bad. Definitely a far cry from what I felt was a very satisfying ending to say, Yu-Yu-Hakusho.
