Hey, Steve is hilarious to watch. I love how just a random dude made of blocks is just a f*cking god compared to any other character. Also the ranked mode isn’t in the game yet because every character is really unbalanced and the game is way too glitched for them to add a tournament style thing.
To be fair Multiversus is free, it feels like alot of people complain about the game (not you) as if we paid for it. I don't see the "game is slow" as bad thing, personally I think the speed is alright the game was a MESS when it was "fast" and doge heavy, everything was annoying you couldn't do combos you had to pray that the other guy sit still for a moment. And yeah I don't blame people quitting the game, it sucks when you get destroyed everyday by the cheapest characters (Bugs, harley, shaggy, WW, etc) by try hard players with over 3000 matches that taunt you to no end, the community can be toxic as hell. Amazing video as always. 👏
I think the issue is that new players have to grind for it really hard. I was luckily there for the beta, so getting all the characters wasn't too bad, but after dumping so many hours into it since launch, I was only able to get 1 other character (which I had previously unlocked). I love the game, but I don't know if I would if I'd just recently started playing.
@VerySmartPerson so just because people chose to do what the character is known for and run away garners a nerf? I agree it's boring to watch but Sonic is fine the way he is I play him myself but I don't time people out. I'm hella aggressive
@@bluewind9321 Then maybe he could get a buff somewhere else to compensate: lowering his camping potential and buffing his rushdown to incentivize a more in-your-face style like Sonic's largely known for outside of Smash.

Custom balance exists for Smash Ultimate but no one ever uses it
All it does is adjust how much damage each character does
