- We move around the left side, up the front and over to the cowl! Also news... still coming to Oshkosh, but doing it via commercial airliner. My plane is fine, its just a matter of logistics and pressure.

I was pretty confident that was the scheme you were going for in “Vinylization III” but held off guessing as I have some advantages over other viewers. One of which is I’ve been seriously considering using a VF-23 WWII Hellcat paint job for my own RV-14. I think your taste in a color scheme is great! 🤣

Andrew, I just bought, sorry not the builder, an RV-9A, it is all white and I want to do some simple striping with vinal or decals. Who was your vendor for the material?

There’s a sample book you can order online for 3m. Use that. Pictures on monitors isn’t real life.

What kind of epoxy did you use on your cowl
I'm going to OSH in my RV-14 with 45 hours on it. If it flys for 40 hours it will fly for 400.

Forget flying to Oshkosh. Every year, storms trash the planes there. You should still go, and leave the keys for me to continue to break in that beautiful 14. 😊

Vinyl wraps on cars dry out and start to crack after just a few years of baking in the sun. Even though you'll be parked in the hangar and greatly reduce your exposure to the sun, can you estimate how long you think the wrap will last?
I'll be happy if it stays in good condition for 3 years and passable for 5. At that point I'm pretty sure I'll have been thinking about changing the color for a while by then. In fact, a few future ideas:
- All matte blue Navy style
- white with art deco detailing
- Horrendous reflective iridescent
- Whatever my wife tells me
