I rescued a Staffy/Lab 1 year old female. I have had many smart Labrador Retrievers but my Staffy Ginger Rogers is the smartest dog I have ever had the privilege to work with. Loving, sweet, smart and loyal.
What an amazingly clever, disciplined and well trained Staffie. Adorable and simply an amazing breed of dog. Even allowing a cat near his treat was brilliant. ❤❤❤
This is a brilliant example of how amazing the staffy breed is, it’s great to see a staffy owner training this breed of dog in the correct way! They are a beautiful dog👍🏻
Beautiful dog! So well looked after and so well trained. Perfect owner/dog relationship - this is someone who understands the breed. Props to you! Sweet cat too :)
Oh gosh!! How did I not see this comment until now?! 🥲 how is your staffy doing now, how were their baby/puppy years, and what name did you decide for them? And can we please see the pics of her as a baby/puppy and now? Only if you want to. I hope she gives you all the contentment, happiness, and love pitties purely, perfectly, provide. 🥰❤️🐶
Oh gosh!! how are your (THREE!!) staffies doing now, what are their names? Despite being bonkers, i am sure they are all very sweet, playful, fun, irreplaceable, loyal, and affectionate 🥹 can we please see the pics of them,(from gotcha day as a baby/puppy, to now). And/or please share all the info about him too, because I love pitties and seeing them loved in their own forever home and with their forever family, loving them, by their side. I do not want to make you feel forced, uncomfortable in doing so.. so please do, only if you want to. I hope your staffies give you all the pure, happiness, love, and wonderment pitties purely, perfectly, provide. 🥰❤️🐶
Gorgeous dog trained very well by a responsible person. And look what he has achieved. Not a vicious attack animal, But a loving and very intelligent family pet 👌
I just love how the cat sees this, and goes over to investigate what these goings on are about,...."ohh there seems to be food involved, now I really must investigate!",..Godspeed, long healthy, happy life to these darlins and family..
Oh gosh!! how is your staffy doing now, how were his baby/puppy years, how has his training been, and what name did you decide for him? Is he a good boy? 🥺 can we please see the pics of him, through the years (from gotcha day as a baby/puppy, to now). And please share all the info about him too, because I love pitties and seeing them loved in their own forever home and with their forever family, loving them, by their side. Please know, I do not want to make you feel forced, and/or uncomfortable in doing so.. so please do, only if you want to. I hope your staffy gives you all the contentment, happiness, and love pitties purely, perfectly, provide. 🥰❤️🐶
I had one for 12 years and he was very super easy to train. I would say staffys are simple dogs to own but they can be destructive (they will rip apart a shoe in seconds). Perfect family dogs, I love them.
I have a blue too (Charlie) and I must say he's my little ray of sunshine. He also shares his food and drink with other animals. His cat Sky is his favourite of course. He's got a few tricks but I'd love to teach him the play dead one. Staffies are amazing dogs and I've never come across a bad one yet! I have come across a few labs that have gone for both of us at the vets. Just goes to show it's definitely not the dog but always the human!
Good Morning, WOW soooooo smart and clever what a good boy❤❣❣❣❣❣❣ Great Team with the Cat ........ Does it work also, without any Treats and Clicker??????? GREETINGS FROM GERMANY 🐾🐾
This is my blue staffie in my profile. He's 3 years old and the only commands he knows is sit, stay....and chicken lol.....he loves chicken and the sound of motorcycles
I’m planning to get a staffy in the future, I had two as a kid, bud and Stella, after Budweiser and Stella Artois, I want a brown one and call it whiskey kind of staying with the drinks
beautiful staffy! he looks a lil bigger than a english staffy but i can't honestly tell. amstaff or english staff? i had a german shepherd mixed w pit but i never found out what kind of pit she was, she was 56 lbs and trained her to be my wheelchair assistant service dog. RIP Mary you were the best dog ever
Great conditioning of your steffie. Good focus from the dog, very food orientated. But why is the handler looking at the dog as if he's about to actually kill it?
Oh gosh!! I love this!! 😀 how is your beautiful staffy doing now (how were his baby/puppy years, training? What is his name)? Is he a good pup? can we please see the pics of him, through the years (from gotcha day as a baby/puppy, to now). please share all info about him too, because I love pitties, seeing them loved in their own forever home and with their forever family, loving them, by their side. I hope your staffy gives you all the wonderful happiness, love, and entertainment pitties purely, perfectly, provide. 🥰❤️🐶
Elvis good job training the staff just got myself a new staff bitch will have to go through all this again love the breed good owner good staff bad owner ticking time bomb good job man
cheers man, yeah hes our pride and joy, good breeding also makes the dog i think, while ours isn't without his little eccentricities hes generally a pretty good dog,
Amazing work mate. I love how he is so focused on you and quick to respond. You've clearly put a lot of work into your relationship. Where did you learn to do all that? Our 11 month old boy, Buddy, looks so similar. I've taught him a few of these, like play dead, roll over, and shake hands, but he's not as quick. Would love to teach him to spin, and to back up.
Justin Imhoff lol he’s focused on the food.......a lot of it is his natural learning and I’ve marked the behaviour with the clicker, and helped him improve it to my liking I guess, I found the clicker really helpful, and patience is a huge key, I also didn’t spend lots of time training, by that I mean I did it in 15min windows and started on a trick he knows well(to start off positive) and ended on a trick he knows well(to finish on a positive note) rinse and repeat
@@elvismcc I know what you mean. Patience and rewarding are definitely key. Buddy responds well to treats too, but he just isn't as fast to respond, especially with the roll over, or play dead. Takes him ages to get there and he hasn't learnt to do it from a sit either. Your boy is so fast! It's inspiring.
Justin Imhoff he’s still young 11months, he’ll get there, judge wasn’t perfect he’s just over a year old in this video, he’s heaps better at the tricks now just keep at it
Do you find the clicker was the biggest game changer ? Does the clicker help with speed of response and with weaning back the treats ? I normally mark with yes , once more comfortable i maintain trick with good and then release with ok but sometimes my staff gets really unmotivated .. any tips on getting better focus and engagement ?
That is so cool..I wonder how long it to to train the dog to do these things..probably not that long..this dog seems very focused on what he is doing so much so that as he's doing one move he's already anticipating the next one..also, I would love to know what kind of a treat that the guy is using..it seems like the dog would do just about anything for them
Just got a 2 year old female. Rescue dog. Has one or two issues around food and other dogs. But I will sort it out. Maybe a muzzle initially to test her reaction?
Now this is a properly trained staffy who truly loves and respects his owner. Hes a beauty and a credit to you mate.
N7 LUNAR cheers
elvismcc I don't know how to train my dog
@@ryanlake3261 - You don't need to train them to love you, which is way more important than being able to get them to do party tricks.
@@oshawaxpress you got it
Staffys are the best dogs, and to the people that call them Pitbulls... Do ya research.
I love how the cat just nonchalantly walks up to the treats and helps itself whilst the staffy has to put on a show. Beautiful dog and cat.

This restores every concern I’ve ever had about a staffie…especially one well trained. Love it and appreciate the cat at the end
Staffies respond very well to positive re-enforcement training.
Nice job of training, the Staffy is just so bright, they are gorgeous fur babies. Love the way the cat did not even phase him. Thank you, Chuck
This is a brilliant example of how amazing the staffy breed is, it’s great to see a staffy owner training this breed of dog in the correct way! They are a beautiful dog👍🏻
My question is, Why is there a Backpack in the Fish tank?
Hahahahahahahah priceless
🤣🤣🤣 good question
Drugs.
Ikr
and also a second smaller fish tank??
Gray cat & dog. How aesthetically pleasing.
You have worked so hard and done a wonderful job with this blue. He loves it and I’m sure you love it as well.
Superb. What a lovely clever Staffy. An absolute credit to you and your training.
Beautiful dog! So well looked after and so well trained. Perfect owner/dog relationship - this is someone who understands the breed. Props to you! Sweet cat too :)
0:46 me struggling to get up everyday
It only gets worse ... it only get worse.. with age
He is georgous and so well trained so funny see him just lie there until he's told to move thank you for showing how beautiful they are
What a beautiful dog
I love the head tilt for curiosity or "what do you want".
I trained my staffie (god rest her soul). I even put treats on her nose, head, paws. I miss her so much.
Absolutely beautiful.. I'm picking my baby Staffy up today hopefully I can teach her a few tricks .

Amazing dog training. Lovely staffy. Well done.

Amen brother. Perfectly done
Beautiful boy there. I’ve got three staffies that are worthless but they are bundles of love. Best breed ever.

A great representation of the true nature of the breed :)
The owner looks at the dog like a psychopath
Its called having focus while training
Staffies need a firm leader.
Or they just take the piss.
😁😁😁
Judges normally are.
Good training! Love the blue staffie and cat sharing a snack together :)
Nice pup and great job training him!
Fantastic training and a beautiful doggy.
what a beautiful and intelligent dog!
Like how you got matching colours of the cat and dog lol
Guitarstaraces was thinking just that😂
Yes really

And the cat says, “F-this, I’m outta here!”
Dog: Does tricks for food.
Cat: Doesnt give a shit and eats when he wants.
Come to my house to teach my pit those neat tricks...all she listens to is "seat"...and only cause she wants the treat😬
so cute and a wonderful coat.........
Love the dog , so smart and discipline
When your cat is the same color as your dog but one is blue and the other is grey...
Super impressive - congratulations to you both.
Superb training. He’s absolutely amazing
People dnt understand this breed needs allot of mental stimulation great job
Incredible dog.👍😀
Beautiful dog, great job on the training.
Loved it!!! The dog is better disciplined and behaved than most brats nowadays!!! I'd take a dog any day!

The only way to kill a vicious staffy is with the patented double finger pistol. Those air rounds don't even over penetrate. 😂
