Simply amazing! So much mood and passion through that Telecaster - really fits the track somehow, and I'm sure Jan Johansson is smiling from somewhere. Mad respect and skål from Denmark.
This is super. Bravo! I have recently thrown out all my CD's except one. We don't use CD's anymore, -listening to music from PC's, phones etc. The one album, I have kept? Jazz på svanska. I just couldn´t let that one go.
Remarkable and inspirational playing ! You and Joe Robinson are two of my favorite guitarists. Excellence, and both originals with their own individual voice. Jeff from Oregon, USA. Liked and subscribed.
Thank you! Yes please do.. it’s so beautiful.. it sounds bitter sweet.. it has both joy and sadness to it, and his playing is so wonderful. He paints with notes
Hun elsket Jan Johanson. Jeg fant ut senere at hun brukte denne sangen når hun samlet klassen til 1.time :) Tusen takk for du lagde denne videoen!!!!!
To be honest.. If you listen to Jan Johanssons version from the record "Jazz på svenska", you won't listen to my version again.. Jan's version is just too beautiful.. :)
fun fact: I saw you and your Lady perform at the same church in Söderhamn, where I saw the two sons of Jan Johannson perform the Jazz på svenska Album on piano and bass a year or so earlier.
Beautiful tone and arrangement, you really let the melody breathe throughout. (Klaus Pontvik skickade mig.
Hi Emil, loved your interpretation. That's proof that one needn't be Swedish to enjoy beautifully written and played songs. Why did you choose in this case to play it on electric rather than acoustic?
Thank you!! :) I just felt like I needed more sustain to be able to "let the song breathe", and the electric guitar makes me play a little bit "less" :)
Love your work on that Tele. Would love to see you and Julian Lage meet up. Have you ever met.jammed with him? Like you he is incredibly adept on both electric and acoustic, though primarily a flat picker.
This sounds like it would be a great piece to collaborate with Tom Waits, somehow, It has that kind of vibe and I have no doubt that you two creative musicians could whip up something spectacular!
Tack Emil Ernebro.
You bring out the best in that tele. it doesn’t sound like an electric guitar, it just sounds like music
That is the best compliment I’ve gotten in a long time - thank you thank you thank you!

Bra spelat Emil :)
Emil thank you so much for introducing me to this melody. It seems like a great piece to listen to before going to bed :)
Takk

This is beautiful! Love how that stoic kind of feel is preserved throughout the piece. Gonna check out the Jan Johansson version now!

Emil Ernebro I agree! I listened to it right after I watched this video. Thanks :)

Congratulations from the other end of the world ! (Argentina)
Thank you so much!!

You did it justice Emil. Beautiful performance.
awesome playing! från en svenne in quebec.
This is the most beautiful electric guitar playing, along with the stuff from Eric Haugens channel...

This would have been boring on an acoustic. I used to dream about hearing Bill Frisell cover this song. This is not a million miles away!
Fantastic, Emil!
You captured both George Riedel and jazzy Jan Johansson in there.
Great playing. Hope you’re well!

Thank you Jonas so much! Trying my best!💚🎶

Muy bueno, gracias!!!!
Gracias!!💚🎶
Snyggt spel Emil.
Nice reprieve from the fires here in California. Your Tele is sounding good.
Hope you are ok.. following the news from here. Devastating...
Beautiful :)
Sweet. Come play for us on Big Island in Hawaii.
Very tasteful. You got so much out of that guitar.
second best ears can hear 🐭
Fruktansvärt bra!
I like the acoustic stuff but I'm still giving a thumbs up because I'm not a savage :D
😄 next video will be acoustic, I promise!😄🙌
What tuning is that in?
Drop D tuning
When I see your upload I quickly cick. And every time it’s amazing.
Thanks so much for that.. I'm so glad people are watching and listening to my videos!! Makes me inspired!
