Chrustables I was laughing to myself with the same thoughts but as the time went on and he was in the same spot I started to get a depressed vibe like a "damn my wife is fat" type thing
Yep, he is still alive and spends 100% of his time in the house in the middle of the tank. We named him Gilly. Once we move Bonnie and Clyde to the bigger tank we will leave him in there and he be able to come out and swim around a bit.
You should set up more rocks and driftwood in the back of the tank... Try to hid pumps n filters make it look natural, and throw in some top floating plants or live plants... Cant wait to see the new tank and setup!!! Love yalls channel!!!
I love that your getting a larger tank built...shows that you care about the well being of the fish ...I hope it's more than 30 inches wide because that is what they will need...when choosing a tank don't always worry about how many gallons but rather worry about footprint of the tank....a tank that can hold 300 gallons that is built taller is less suitable than a 300 gallon that is built considering both width and length....for example a 300 gallon can be for instance a 300 gallon that's 8 foot long 1 foot wide 3 foot tall is inferior to a 300 gallon that is 8 foot long 3 foot wide 20 inches tall
Very interesting when it comes to the shad action and how they will attack it when feeding. Makes me think about how the retrieve should be with a swimbait or jerkbait
How long will you be able to keep them, or how soon will they out grow even the new tank. Enjoy watching, and am amazed at the speed they attack the minnows. Love your videos and never miss one.
I really want to know how much do you feed them in a day...I really wanna have my own too just dont know everything, thats why I love watching you two take care of these Bass, so I can learn from you guys.
Good idea! I will have to try that out to get some close up feeding action. I watched Dave Mercer strap a gopro onto a bass once. That video would be called a day in the life of Bonnie ;)
Bamafrogs is a great site and the 20% off makes everything a steal, only complaint is no left hand retrieve reels. Would've bought a few Lew's if you had them.
Thanks Tyler. We do sell a couple of the brands of Lew's on our site in left hand retrieve but not all of them yet. If you are interested in a particular model send me an email with the details and I can order it for you and still provide the Thanksgiving discount. It usually takes two days to get special order reels in.
lNTERESTlNG THOUGHT TOM, BUT CONSlDER 2 THlNGS: FlRST OFF, THElR FEEDlNG HABlTS WlLL NOT BE AFFECTED AT ALL lN SUCH AN ENCLOSED ENVlRONMENT, UNLESS THElR WATER TEMPERATURE WAS DRASTlCALLY LOWERED TO 40 DEGREES F. WHlCH BRlNGS UP THE 2nd POlNT: THE ONLY WAY TO GET THAT AQUARlUM TO SUCH A "STEADY" LOW TEMPERATURE, THEY WOULD HAVE TO GET THElR WHOLE HOUSE THAT COLD. BRRR!!! NOT HAPPENlNG. OR GO TO SUCH GREAT LENGTHS, SUCH AS PUTTlNG THE FlSH lN A COOLER & USE lCE, PUT lN THE FRlDGE, ETC. lT'S JUST NOT PRACTlCAL lN A TYPlCAL HOUSEHOLD & WOULD STRESS THE FlSH TO DEATH. lT WOULD TAKE A LABORATORY & SPEClAL EQUlPMENT TO DO SUCH AN EXPERlMENT "SAFELY". BESlDES, WE ALREADY KNOW THE FEEDlNG HABlTS OF BLACK BASS SLOW DRASTlCALLY lN LAKES & RlVERS THAT FALL NEAR, OR BELOW 40 F. ( PLEASE PARDON MY CAPSLOCK. OLD LAPTOP WlTH FAlLlNG KEYBOARD. ONLY CAPSLOCK WORKS NOW. l CATCH HELL OVER MY CAPSLOCK ALL THE TlME, LOL. ) TlGHT LlNES TOM!!!
I don't think they're too big. Either they're not interested or they're still way to shy. especially Clyde he is very shy. My bass are super active they go crazy and eat till they can't anymore
How do you know if its a girl or boy? and do you just get their food from a bait store? I have been wanting to do this for awhile now! Y'all should do some more contests were you take fans fishing!
Yep, he is still alive and spends 100% of his time in the house in the middle of the tank. We named him Gilly. Once we move Bonnie and Clyde to the bigger tank we will leave him in there and he be able to come out and swim around a bit.
TEAM RACKIT depends on the size of the bass, for example I have 4 5 inch smallmouth bass in a 55 gallon. You are going to need at least a 55 gallon tank but bigger is always better!
The Random Kid it's best to feed your bass daily but mix up what you are feeding them from crickets, crayfish, minnows, worms, and anything else they can eat
The reaction bite at 5:56 really explains why things like spinnerbaits and buzzbaits and jerkbaits get bit. they don't chase them, they just react!
Clyde just looks at himself from the glass saying "whos this sexy bass? O dang thats just me"
Chrustables I was laughing to myself with the same thoughts but as the time went on and he was in the same spot I started to get a depressed vibe like a "damn my wife is fat" type thing
Drake Roberts 😂😂😂
Love you vids! Keep up the great work!!!
Sir your the best youtuber and your one hell of a fisherman
Very Interesting !!! Bonnie is a HOG !! Poor Clyde he's so considerate and let's Bonnie eat first. She got herself a good man !! Fun Video
is the blue gill still alive? from the first feeding vid........love to see liz make a aquarium set up video
Yep, he is still alive and spends 100% of his time in the house in the middle of the tank. We named him Gilly. Once we move Bonnie and Clyde to the bigger tank we will leave him in there and he be able to come out and swim around a bit.
@bamabass what's the bluegill eat
510kawirider231D I was wondering the same thing cause he didn't say anything about it
Wow! In slow motion, i still couldn't see that last minnow go!
You should set up more rocks and driftwood in the back of the tank... Try to hid pumps n filters make it look natural, and throw in some top floating plants or live plants... Cant wait to see the new tank and setup!!! Love yalls channel!!!
thanks for all the great vids. Have a happy thanksgiving

This new aquarium that you have ordered sounds really cool
Very interesting when it comes to the shad action and how they will attack it when feeding. Makes me think about how the retrieve should be with a swimbait or jerkbait
the aquarium changing is a cool idea.
I really do like these feeding videos keep up the good work.
There's some pond system down south where they are trying to raise world record bass, and their secret weapon to get them bigger is shrimp!
tiefsa cool any videos on that?
I may be alone in this opinion, but thank you for not putting some horrible music over the action. The aerator humming is sufficient.
nice to hear about the new bigger aquarium sweet
Do you feed the little blue gill in the middle?
Yes Liz plz make the video
Thanks Josh, there has been enough interest already so we will get Liz to make a video of it.
BamaBass how often do u feed Bonnie and Clyde
How long will you be able to keep them, or how soon will they out grow even the new tank. Enjoy watching, and am amazed at the speed they attack the minnows. Love your videos and never miss one.
GREAT FOOTAGE. lT'S AMAZlNG HOW QUlCK THElR REFLEXES ARE. THElR NEW 300 GALLON AQUARlUM lS GOlNG TO BE AWESOME.
Awesome video! I would love to see a video on tank setup by Liz! Please and thank you Liz!
seems like Bonnie's more willing to chase the minnows as Clyde just sit there and waits for them to pass him. Clyde is lazy lol
COOL! Do you clean the tank?
Awesome job with those bass guys!
Lol i bet you've had minnows jump out the tank trying to get away!!! Poor clyde! Try handfeeding them a big nightcrawler hanging down in the water!
you should make a video of the fish reacting to soft plastic craws and lures with no hooks to see how quickly or if they will go after those
wow.... great footage!
How often do you clean the tank? And how? Maybe you can do a cleaning video?
Pablorod7_ agreed!
Please make more of these!
Pet Bass is so cool. Gotta upgrade from my tetras and barbs to a Bass. Lol
Wow they have gotten big from the time you and your wife caught them. How long has it been?
Clyde is just being a gentlemen
I really want to know how much do you feed them in a day...I really wanna have my own too just dont know everything, thats why I love watching you two take care of these Bass, so I can learn from you guys.
Awesome to see how they are doing how long does it take for them to adapt to the tank
It took them 7-10 days to feel comfortable. For the first 3 weeks they would eat mostly at night. Now they have fully adapted and are doing great.
Great video and have a great thanksgiving
You too Bradich
Nice video! This help us understand how bass hunt~ Are you able to film how they hunt in dark?
when they get bigger you should feed them frogs
A tank set video would be awesome !!
Next feeding video you guys should do is crawfish I want to see the reaction on the crawfish to know to to move the bait and twitch the bait
SWEET VIDEO!!!!
if and when you let bonnie go, you should tag her and put your number on it, just to see how big she gets.
ever worried about one of em jumping out the top of the tank chasing theyre food?? lol..
how the fluke could someone dislike this?
carina huot 😂
Make sure to change their environment frequently as enrichment.
Could you possibly put the GoPro in the tank?
Good idea! I will have to try that out to get some close up feeding action. I watched Dave Mercer strap a gopro onto a bass once. That video would be called a day in the life of Bonnie ;)
BamaBass ha! Awesome can't wait!
bamabass how much do u thinks bonnie & Clyde Weigh now?
Looked like the bass was chewing the shrimp ... and the distance from which they can inhale a minnow is unreal.
is that blue Gale still a live ?
Hello! How often do you change the water? Thanks!

could you possibly lower the temperature in the tank so we could compaire their feeding style in colder water!?
Interesting

Would a temperature change be possible? To compare feeding in colder water vs warmer water
Great vid
Is that bluegill still in the house inside the aquarium
I don't think they're too big. Either they're not interested or they're still way to shy. especially Clyde he is very shy. My bass are super active they go crazy and eat till they can't anymore

Will they try to spawn together?
I honestly do not know but we will find out soon enough!
Feed Clyde separate use that tank for feeding, take him out of the bigger tank put him in the smaller tank so Bonnie feeds in the bigger tank
How do you know if its a girl or boy? and do you just get their food from a bait store? I have been wanting to do this for awhile now! Y'all should do some more contests were you take fans fishing!
Foley Outdoors I believe he catches some of his food from the place he caught them but also said he went to the bait shop to get some

They are saltwater shrimp they catch out of the Mobile Delta.

Yep, he is still alive and spends 100% of his time in the house in the
middle of the tank. We named him Gilly. Once we move Bonnie and Clyde to
the bigger tank we will leave him in there and he be able to come out
and swim around a bit.
