    The reaction bite at 5:56 really explains why things like spinnerbaits and buzzbaits and jerkbaits get bit. they don't chase them, they just react!

      Yep, he is still alive and spends 100% of his time in the house in the middle of the tank. We named him Gilly. Once we move Bonnie and Clyde to the bigger tank we will leave him in there and he be able to come out and swim around a bit.

    You should set up more rocks and driftwood in the back of the tank... Try to hid pumps n filters make it look natural, and throw in some top floating plants or live plants... Cant wait to see the new tank and setup!!! Love yalls channel!!!

    I love that your getting a larger tank built...shows that you care about the well being of the fish ...I hope it's more than 30 inches wide because that is what they will need...when choosing a tank don't always worry about how many gallons but rather worry about footprint of the tank....a tank that can hold 300 gallons that is built taller is less suitable than a 300 gallon that is built considering both width and length....for example a 300 gallon can be for instance a 300 gallon that's 8 foot long 1 foot wide 3 foot tall is inferior to a 300 gallon that is 8 foot long 3 foot wide 20 inches tall

    There's some pond system down south where they are trying to raise world record bass, and their secret weapon to get them bigger is shrimp!

    • @BamaBass
      @BamaBass  8 років тому

      Thanks Tyler. We do sell a couple of the brands of Lew's on our site in left hand retrieve but not all of them yet. If you are interested in a particular model send me an email with the details and I can order it for you and still provide the Thanksgiving discount. It usually takes two days to get special order reels in.

      lNTERESTlNG THOUGHT TOM, BUT CONSlDER 2 THlNGS: FlRST OFF, THElR FEEDlNG HABlTS WlLL NOT BE AFFECTED AT ALL lN SUCH AN ENCLOSED ENVlRONMENT, UNLESS THElR WATER TEMPERATURE WAS DRASTlCALLY LOWERED TO 40 DEGREES F. WHlCH BRlNGS UP THE 2nd POlNT: THE ONLY WAY TO GET THAT AQUARlUM TO SUCH A "STEADY" LOW TEMPERATURE, THEY WOULD HAVE TO GET THElR WHOLE HOUSE THAT COLD. BRRR!!! NOT HAPPENlNG. OR GO TO SUCH GREAT LENGTHS, SUCH AS PUTTlNG THE FlSH lN A COOLER & USE lCE, PUT lN THE FRlDGE, ETC. lT'S JUST NOT PRACTlCAL lN A TYPlCAL HOUSEHOLD & WOULD STRESS THE FlSH TO DEATH. lT WOULD TAKE A LABORATORY & SPEClAL EQUlPMENT TO DO SUCH AN EXPERlMENT "SAFELY". BESlDES, WE ALREADY KNOW THE FEEDlNG HABlTS OF BLACK BASS SLOW DRASTlCALLY lN LAKES & RlVERS THAT FALL NEAR, OR BELOW 40 F. ( PLEASE PARDON MY CAPSLOCK. OLD LAPTOP WlTH FAlLlNG KEYBOARD. ONLY CAPSLOCK WORKS NOW. l CATCH HELL OVER MY CAPSLOCK ALL THE TlME, LOL. ) TlGHT LlNES TOM!!!
