I entered legally in 1998, but somebody used my return flight and i94 to go back to D.R. I stayed here in America without proof of entry, and never left the country for 26 years. Am married to citizen, and have 2 children. Can i apply?
Thank you for all the information. What happens after is approved? a petition for relative is still needed I-130? or can apply for a LPR adjustment status I-485?
My husband has been in this country more than 10 years. He always paid taxes, never been arrested, been a model person, but the first time he came was when he was 16 yo. He was returned to Mexico, but later that night he made it across the border. Will he qualify for this program since he has been here longer than 10 yrs and has not been back to Mexico? We just want advice. Ty
Thanks for the info. I filed my marriage license on 6/1/2024 and got married on 6/20/2024. Am i still eligible? Back story: I came to the US in 2003 when I was 17 with a visa. I have my i94. I haven’t left since and was granted Witholding of removal a10 status in 2012. No criminal record. Been working & paying taxes since. Have copies of everything. Even have my return plane ticket from 2003.
My wife came with fince K-1 visa in 2004. The man who brought her here had a peronal problem involved another woman and did not complete all the legal steps that he suppose to. She has been living in the US without legal status since. We have been married since 2013. We have two kids. Does admission and parole disqualify her or she can still apply?
My wife is here. We’ve been married since 2019 and she’s been here 25 years paying taxes but she’s here on a expired visiting visa she applied we already have a lawyer.
She doesn't need the parol in place, she entered the country legally, she can now do the adjustment of status to get a green card without leaving the us
