I dont understand, when you click on add quick stair command it bring menu. In my case it tell me to pick points. Also after picking points you already have back channels and headers how you did it? Also, when I put railings on stringer it shows stick, how can i turn them solid? Thank you
Hi, You will pick your first two points first and then the Quick Stair Add window will appear. In that window you will choose your stringer section sizes and properties to make up the stair. When you are finished with the handrail command it should turn to solid. You can do s a on your keyboard to turn to solids or F5 to make sure it has processed. If you have any further questions, please contact our Support department at support@sds2.com.
Hello I dont see top riser, it is created only with pan profile. How come I don't see it when I use plate profile? Also Is there are any option to put bolts on carriers attaching plate/riser to angle (which would be welded to stringer) instead bolting it to stringer? Also, if my plate/carrier below finish nosing can i lower my riser/plate ? I know I can do it manually but is it possible to do it within parametric commands? Thank you
Todd, they are on the default toolbar. It is a collection of commands, but the stair quick add tool is what you'd be looking for. You can use the toolbar editor to add them if you're using a custom toolbar. A quick email to support will get you the specifics. Thanks!
Good Morning When I put railing at the back of the landing, it puts railing off the back channel, how can I adjust it? In the video it locates railing perfectly in the center of back channel, not in my case. 5.55 min of the video. Thank you
Hi, When putting in the railing to the stringer, make sure the end that you're working with has the correct return length. For further questions, please contact our support department at support@sds2.com.
Hello there the video doesn't show how can I adjust (Move) end post on the stringer not intermediate. Also How can I add a return at the top of handrail (left/right) thank you
Hi, You'll want to make sure the ends are at the correct distance when inputting the handrail. You'll also add the return while inputting the handrail. For additional information please contact our support team at support@sds2.com.
Hi Sunil, it should be on the default toolbar in 2020i. If you are using a custom toolbar, you will have to edit your toolbar preferences. If you email the support team, they can get you the specifics!

Is there any written documentation that would give details like the exact name of the commands she was using? What icons she is using?
Todd, they are on the default toolbar. It is a collection of commands, but the stair quick add tool is what you'd be looking for. You can use the toolbar editor to add them if you're using a custom toolbar. A quick email to support will get you the specifics. Thanks!
