Man you keep talking about your boat, your tackle, electronics, etc.... but man we are we going to talk about your new shop/garage???? That thing is slick as heck!!!
Now we know. 😮 Informative video for sure. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Loved this video. It’s fun to watch something a little different than all fishing all the time.
Mark, we're waiting for you to sit on your porch and let us know your plan for fishing the BPT this year with the new rules. Not a drama video, but we're worried about the new rules and how they may/may not affect our favorite anglers. What are your plans? What adjustments (if any) will you have to make? Waiting for you to sound-off, homie.
I love that nice organized garage. Best of luck in upcoming year
Plus all your Rods and reels
I was born in Montgomery AL. I knew there was a reason I was following you and the house crew! LOL
Mark: your gear and rods equal you! Awesome! What a fun video. Now you need to calibrate the amount of fuel needed to take all that with you each tournament. 🤔🤔🤔 Maybe it’s better if we don’t know? Thanks for having some fun with us. Stay safe. Have an amazing season. God Bless!
The funniest thing about bass fishermen, and I’m a fan of yours so this is mostly in jest, is that they’ll carry 150+ pounds of gear and use 2 different bits for the entire tournament lol. I’d be one of the guys with minimum gear but I’d change it out a lot depending on the pattern I’m on. No need for squarebills and flipping jigs on a summer ledge bite, for instance.
Dude, this is an awesome video. You can truly see your look of disbelief!
will you guys do a video on the changes in the MLF, and why others are hating
I've been curious as well... nice job mark
As a former lure manufacturer (Bandit Lures) I can answer that question real quick like-- 10 times what they need! ☺️☺️
You got the old skool rippin lipps beanie on tho that's them clear lake days patrolling the waters!!!!!😂😂😂
I'd definitely have an obscene amount of tackle if I wasn't a kayak guy. But since I'm in a tiny space I try not to have much more than what can fit in my backpack and my sling...which is 4 plano boxes in the backpack and all the soft plastic bags are in the sling.
Great video you need to get Jacob to weight his tackle and get dc on this too. It would probab]y comical with DC. See y’all at Chowan in June.
Awesome video
Can’t wait till June 4-7…. MLF is coming to (my now) home body of water… the Chowan River…. I’m from San Bernadine Ca …🎣🎣
Cool video Mark!!! Very nice 2024 Ranger!!!! Good luck in 2024!!!
I didn't expect that tackle to weigh that much. I absolutely have 150 to 200 lbs of tackle in my boat, and i don't even fish tournaments. Man, that is insane. 😂😂
That's awsome ! I tried weighing my toast on a regular scale a few years ago ! But the scale was too small ! Your rods also count
My question: for example, you’re with Rapala but switch to Strike King. What do you do with all your Rapala gear after the brand switch?
Mark - you are the best - great video - now I am thinking that I have 150 # in my boat. Ouch
VERY Nice hat too..!
Let's talk about that new Hammer Trap!!
What favorite rod do you recommend for Texas rigging like senkos and ribbon tails?
I love that shop!
Awesome video mdj!
Man where can I get that cabinet, storage setup? I have been working on my custom garage/mancave. I need those storage setup.
Mark just wonderi ng do you ever hear of anyone on tour who adds a coating to their wrap to help with speed or help sicken their boat. It wouldn't really matter in yall's MLF but in other tours where speed is a necessity?
This is great!
What front step up ladder do you have on the rt188? Looking to get one for my rt188 thanks.
Plus drinks, and food. Some with two 20lbs bags of ice
Bro! I wanna be like you when I grow up! I have 8 of the plastic boxes and 4 smaller boxes and 2 small bags. 😅
Great video!
I think I carry about the same amount of box’s but I have waaayyy more soft plastics…. I thought I was around 100 pounds when I put it in the boat this year! That’s prolly why I had to tilt my scope transducer back!
I want a garage loaded with trucks and boats like that!
Crazy is right...good video
So how much extra weight is in the truck??
If you can find the old school sherbet color of trick worms they work too.
Great video
Awesome! Cool video
I make my own custom hand pours with recycled plastics.. Money saver and fish catcher.
+livewell water 5 big bass and ice chest? 🤔good video
Lol 😂 Bass fishing is a very expensive hobby but doing something you love/like to do you can’t put a price on. And you can never have enough baits lol. Live life and catch them big ol bucket mouths! Man I got a good laugh when you said this can’t be right. Lol
Good luck this yr bro!
I wish I had even close to that
We know, whatever this weighs, Jacob wheelers number is probably 3 times that! 🤣
I mean I fish out my small boat with 7 bait caster, 3 spinning gear and 60lbs of tackle and I'm just a weekend angler so to speak. I thought for you sure. You would be up 175 190 but 157 is crazy,
SHOUT-OUT TO FROGGY BOTTOMS 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I know my boat is slower with all my gear in it. Now do a video how much all that tackle cost 😅.
I run a ranger also and with lithium batteries like you…. I put all my heaviest gear in the back and I got more speed out of my boat.
I have a 2000 520L and I’m going to switch to lithium batteries for my trolling motor. How would taking 150 lbs out of the battery boxes slow the speed down? I thought that it would add top end speed to the boat. Also, could you tell a difference in the hole shot? Thanks Chris Ross
Need to add rods to
I weighed all my stuff and I’m in the JW range of tackle lol😂
Mark. How much $/pound???
Everyone carries all that gear, and then in the words of BLat, "I used like the same $50 worth of tackle all year."
My boy I’m not gonna lie I really feel like your on the light side when it comes to how much the average angler keeps in there boat! I just feel like most guys have a whole lot more gear in there boat! Lmao
Hey, bro. Great vid. I wish you a great 2024. I want to compete with you.. So. Here is the challenge.. I catch my PB(6.5 LBS 45 years ago) before you win a tournament?? I fish hard.. Do you accept this challenge?? Ha.. I'm excited to see you compete. Get after their ass this year & show off a little. I will catch my PB this year, regardless.. Ha. bring it, Mark. Happy 2024.
Kind of unrelated topic ...what do pros do with all the old stuff when they change sponsors? Say you have a garage full of Strike King and then they drop you for whatever reason.
I’ve done this with my tackle it was 147 pounds. And I’ll buy tackle every week just keep adding to it. JDM Tackle junkie.
Now we need to know the weight after a full season of fishing
You have been breaking in the new motor, come back after the first tournament and tell us the speed difference of empty vs full tournament with riders.
Markie Mark, you trippin bro, all you had to do was go weigh your truck and boat at a certified scale at a truck stop and then put all the tackle in the boat and weigh it again.😂
Got to b more than 150 I can put 100 #'s crap I never use on kayak
You said only your fishing not a drill and I want to actually see what the way is of your fishing tackle
Lol, I would have got that cart first and brought it to the house. Less trips back and forth. Father time may have not caught up to you yet. Work smarter not harder
It's a shame to have to wrap that pretty Ranger.
Early BM you could only have 10 lbs of tackle
And that is without ice & food
NICE BEANIE!!!!...YEETADEE!!!!
My guy, 10 tackle boxes isn’t 7-8 lbs 😂 it’s more like 20-30
You run 200 lbs on a daily basis lol😂
:)
Funny thing is don’t use half of the gear ha ha ha ha
Now go take the cameraman and his gear and weigh it.
Hilarious! Just the fact that you took the time to actually load all your gear up, drive to the store, unload all the gear, weight it, reload it and drive home, only to have to unload it again. Dang! What can I say, I’m a fan for life.
That’s when you really want to know . Awesome video
I'm not a pro but definitely have enough tackle for entire club in my boat... you know what ever you leave home is what their chewing! I didn't buy it to leave it home lol
