  • Killaloe (pronounced /ˌkɪlæˈluː/; Irish: Cill Dalua meaning Lua's church) is a large village in east County Clare, Ireland. The village lies on the River Shannon on the western bank of Lough Derg and is connected by Killaloe Bridge to the "twin town" of Ballina on the eastern bank of the lake. The surrounding area is popular for hill-walking.

    I and some of my siblings lived in Ballina in the 1980's we were the only Yanks there. I still have great friends from all of those years ago. I have been back several times and they have come to see me in the States. After Covid we will all get together back in Ballina. Thank you so very much for posting this video it means the world to me
