Man, I must be starting to lose it because I have absolutely zero recollection of ever seeing this set ever. Just from a few clues, I can tell it was part of the Sacage Planet part of Hero Factory, but like, as unique as this guy is, nothing stood out as memorable to me from all the times I should have seen it in LEGO Magazines or on Brickset. Man...
I feel exactly the same about all of the Savage Planet builds. Of course I know about their existence, but none of them, except for Witch Doctor, were memorable
I think he's easy to forget because of Bitil. If someone asked me if I remember any bug-like, yellow villan from Bionicle/ HF, I wouldn't answer Waspix because he wasn't new and original at the time, unlike Bitil.
So glad to see Oblivimocs’ build from our speed build session featured here. The yellow really does pop on it! Always love the energy you bring to these videos Ben!
Hungarian via Australia because this guy sounds as Aussie as the next guy I know and or if you heard me you'd go- wow so many Hungarian folk (I'm 100% not/non hungarian) unless he's using a AI/bot voice mod.
I remember being so confused because I'd just finished a wasp-themed Hero Factory character a week before Savage Planet was announced! So of course I had to get Waspix. Most useful part for me has to be the hand part which I use for Gringat's hair/topknot thing
Dear Ben, are there any tips out there for creating _Bionicle_ MOCs with gearboxes? Maybe in a future video, you could cover some MOCs with functional gearboxes. Recently, I found some incredible MOCs made by this UA-camr named Tributron blue n white, and he manages to incorporate gearboxes and CCBS parts into his MOCs like his Tahu Mata or Pohatu Phantoka revamp, and they look incredible! I also want to know if there are any tutorials out there for how to effectively use LEGO CCBS parts, and also integrate them in _Bionicle_ MOCs that have gear functions.
I like how waspix and the space bug warrior from the space CMF have a similar head enough to make a alien queen for my totally not "xenomorphs" in Lego. I have a predator and marines are easy to make and I used the bounty hunter from a former CMF to represent the marine armor in sand green and white.
Man this brings back memories. I once brought this set over to a friends house to play along with some other sets (I was in grade 2) and we messed around with his and my legos for a while. At some point the waspix head piece fell off the figure and I brought the set home without realizing. Later at school I talked to my friend and told him I left the waspix head piece at home and he said I can come over at some point to get it. Long story short we stopped being friends a week after because of some bs lol and I never ended up getting that head piece back.
Hey Mr. Ben .Great video .I never would have thought you could do so much with waspix .That set is really underrated .Thanks for a great video . Have you got into Monkie Kid yet ? take care and stay awesome .

Dude me too, i only remember those transparent armor shells, the only memorable villian in the savage planet wave was Witch doctor

This was my first hf set!!!
Great first choice👍🏻

Damn you Ben Cossy! I just finished my Waspix revamp MOC!
Seriously though great video man, can’t wait to see more Hero Factory content!
2:42 looks like Gimmick Puppet of Dark Strings
Another thoroughly ENJOYABLE video Ben, keep up the great work - LOVE them ❤
i agree thath waspix is one of the most underrated set's.
she kinda also reminds me of jet bug witch i think is also a underrated set.
The first ever savage planet set I bought❤
Waspix seems like a fairly good upgrade of Makuta Bitil.
"turning point" by The Maestro reminds me a bit of the eldrazi from magic the gathering
There should be upgrade version of her and she’s my other favorite bug hero factory

LOVE Monkie Kid!
The legs for the original kinda look like halo elite/sangheili legs
Rawjaw sounds and looks like a Ben 10 alien transformation, change my mind
3:13 which set is the sword from?
I thought this was Bitil
This set reminds me too much of Bitil for my liking.
hello
Omg
Ben, do practice your hungarian. (I will keep sending MOCs) It did give me a good laugh though :P
You sound like Stewie griffin
7:23 “queen” being gendered doesn’t really work for bees because their biology is vastly different from humans, so king could also work in all honesty
You do know bees are also male and female right? The queen lays eggs, the males impregnate the queen, while the drones are all sterile females.
There is truly no love for Waspix 🥲
