From a hip-hop fans perspective, Life is Good was amazing. The beats were tight, the flow was raw, and the lyrics were straight up superior to anyone else in the album and song category. Maybe millions of people liked Drake's album, but millions of people also like Kesha. Worldwide appeal does not mean a stronger piece of art. Its like if Avatar had beaten Hurt Locker for best picture. Maybe millions loved it, but that doesn't mean it was a stronger piece.

I don't think you understand how the Grammy's work. The cut off date to be considered for albums and songs is very early in 2012, like Jan/Feb early. GKMC came out a lot later in the year. It's how the Grammy's does this. This years music (as in 2012 to early early 2013) will be considered in 2014 Grammy's
