Evolution of Rafale Fighters (From Rafale A to Rafale R)

- France developed the Dassault Rafale for both its Air Force and Navy following its withdrawal from the collaborative Future European Fighter Aircraft project, which led to the Eurofighter Typhoon. The Rafale is designed to fulfill a variety of roles including air supremacy, reconnaissance, ground support, interdiction, deep strike, anti-ship operations, and nuclear deterrence, hence earning it the nickname "omnirole" 4.5th generation aircraft by Dassault. Since its debut in 2007 with bombing missions in Afghanistan, the Rafale has been extensively deployed in combat, notably as the first combat aircraft to patrol Libyan airspace in 2011. Let’s check out all the variants of the Rafale Fighter.

The Rafale is an amazingly capable, multirole fighter.
Rafale is very nice 👌
Rafale D and R ?????
In what parallel universe did you seek your data ?
After the Rafale A demonstrator, prototypes were named C-01 B-01 , M-01 and M-02. Then production started for the 3 only existing models, Rafale C, B and M.
"D" for Discret is a term used to designate its capacity to minimize signature as "Stealth" is used tu designate US planes. I has never been a variant !
Each one shares the same electronic standards (block) staging from F1 in the early 2000's to F4 today and F5 tomorrow. Export version ARE in fact rafales C, B (and in the future M for India), with electronics standards adapted to their needs.
The goal was to develop a plane with as less as possible differences between variants to minimize costs (yes, I'm looking at you F-35), very far from what is suggested in this video which aims to cover the entire alphabet.
Its beautifully designed.. Very aesthetic.
Typhoons and Gripen r also flawless in designing.
They should remove fuelling part, could integrate into body.
Nous sommes très fiers de notre avion 😊
hard to take you seriously if you could not pronounce its name right :) did you notice its not Rafael but Rafale?
