It's actually quite realistic tbh. You'd know if you have read the webtoon. Seojoon and Jugyeong does date each other but break up later. Some people are meant to be just good friends. And their friendship dynamic is quite sweet. I wish there was more of that in the drama or else people wouldn't have been so hung up just because Jugyeong didn't end up with seojoon. The webtoon clearly shows why their romantic relationship wouldn't work out in the long run. Whereas Suho was always there for Jugyeong.

I wouldn't say Suho doesn't deserves her. He loves her, protects her and knows her reality but for some reason they are extremely dull together as if they're not comfortable with each other. I get that every character has their insecurities and issues but the 'need' suho has for love is greater that any character's. Knowing all this, I still can't get myself to empathize with him and their relationship. But with seojun, the whole screen brights up. Their chemistry is just electrifying together. I love seeing them together and enjoying comfortably.
Just one request to kdrama makers. Don't take fabulous second leads with amazing acting skills (also startup) and think a sob story would make everyone fall for the main lead.

You do realize that this was a webtoon before a K-drama, right? It’s not like the screenwriters just brought up a sob story so we would like Suho better. It was in the webtoon long before that. It’s supposed to make the viewers upset about her not falling for Seojun, and it’s actually realistic. While not every woman in real life would fall for Suho, many others would choose him because he was her first love. First loves aren’t easy to forget. I would’ve chosen Seojun too after Suho left, but that doesn’t give you the right to hate on the screenwriters for writing a script that didn’t match your standards. I actually like the heartbreaking ending since it shows what many people experience… unrequited love no matter how hard they loved and cared for the other person.
Su ho looks more like a robotic in every scene. On the opposite site seojun and her chemistry is on point
I am honestly so sad about what happened in episode 8 Suho doesn't really do alot for her but seojun was litterally with her trying to make her feel better and swept of her tears as well as Apologizing when he didn't really need to she was talking about her heartbreak with Suho when he was actually the one getting heart broken. The two of them together honestly gives me more interest in this drama. They had process. The process itself was interesting. Self development and self realizations. Not overly fantasize over someone's looks. Bickering is actually one of the best way of processing someone's relationship too! They are also comfortable telling or doing actions they can't do with other people. The whole flow of the plot right now is way too bland. I could say it's typical. (A perfect young boy with an excellent academies, good looking face and a great family background tends to fall inlove with a not-so-good-looking girl in school) I could say, seojun's story itself was interesting. He had a lot of problems on the drama, but i guess the director wanted to shrug it off just so they could focus on the main. Like? Not creative. Do something that surprises us! I really wanna have a meeting with the director about this matter.
I love that Jugyeong is actually more comfortable and can be herself when she's with Seojun. Seojun is such an amazing character..he's funny, loving honest cool handsome charismatic etc. Honestly, Suho is the most boring male lead chara I've ever seen in kdrama im sorry. I'm so disappointed of TvN for not letting Jugyeong X Seojun date like in the webtoon (plus suho stealing seojun scenes). Also, Seojun's supposed to be her first boyfriend and first kiss. I'm still praying that Seojun and Jugyeong will end up in the webtoon coz obv I dont think there's a chance for these to be together in the drama. He's suffering every episode tho. I'm just so glad I discovered Hwang In Hyeop in this drama. Seojun fighting!!! I hope he gets to date someone better than Jugyeong in the drama and later on that's when jugyeong realizes his worth or something then there will be Season 2 where the story only revolves between Jugyeong and Seojun hahaha
