Thank you for the over looks on the mountains Cliff. Watching your videos is greatly appreciated for making them. Thank you Wondering woodsman for all your videos!
Thanks for doing that for us. That was quite the hike. Maybe it would be easier in the winter taking the ski lift up? Seeing the deer and her baby was awesome.
Cliff, you are one crazy man LOL. Thank you for showing us that lovely view, because I can assure you I will NEVER walk up that hill! The deer and fawn were so special. Seeing them never gets old. I hope you rested well after that strenuous hike!
Thank you, thank you, I've waited a long time for you to do Elk Mt. Use to be my go to ski area back in the 60's and 70's. The views and deer were awesome. Stay well and be safe and thanks again.
Cliff, I know the feeling. I did a 75k walk ,46.6 miles, on a track at Monmouth University in New Jersey, many year ago. At the end the fellow who sponsored it, Elliot Denman, asked if I wanted to go for 50 miles and I answered. "I think not". Climbing a mountain is one thing but 186 laps around a track is really a mental challenge. It took me 10 hours and 49 minutes. I bet if someone had offered you a hundred dollars at that point, you would have made it that last part. Cheers, Rik Spector
Well Cliff, if you're worn out that was some workout for sure. Get to camp, get some well deserved rest. Thanks for the climb, the view and the deer. So nice.😀😀
Whew! That was quite a hike! I'm all worn out.😅We get deer on our ski slopes here in So. California too, they are quite beneficial to the deer providing a grazing meadow in areas where there aren't any naturally.🦌 Thanks Cliff.
I know how hard this is because I took a ski lift up in the adirondacks for fall foliage and had a panic attack and couldn't get back on the ski left. Had to walk down the mountain. My knees haven't been the same since
Cliff, just a few more feet, and you would've been at the very top. I hiked up Allendale Road off the Stoney Valley Rail Trail to The Devils Racecourse... With bad knees. Had one knee replaced last November, and I plan on hiking it again this October. Enjoyed the video. I may do that climb.
I have a nice view of Elk Mountain from my front window. I've hiked up to the top 2 or 3 times myself. Going down, I tend to take the slope to the right (looking down) because it's less steep.
Nice video really enjoyed it. I was to the top of elk once but took a ski lift up not skiing but some type of thing going on maybe it was some octoberfest type thing going on. I do believe elk is the highest peak in eastern pa.
Lol. You had me laughing pretty hard through this video. But yeah man, you should have gone to the very top! 😂 JK. I wouldn't even attempt a climb like that anymore.

Thank you, thank you.! As a total knee replacement, I know how it is going down. I could never do that now.
Good job Cliff, you earned bragging rights for your efforts of hiking up that slope. Well done!
Thanks for doing that for us. That was quite the hike. Maybe it would be easier in the winter taking the ski lift up? Seeing the deer and her baby was awesome.
Quite a climb, Cliff! Especially, if it was a hot day...Beautiful views and a lovely shot of mother deer and fawn. Thank you and take it easy!

Whew!! What a grueling hike! Sleep well, my friend, sleep well.😴
Terrific view! Worth the hike for sure. Yep, your knees will complain about this one. 😊
