This episode was quite fantastic. The season has quite honestly hit it out of the park and will be remembered as one of the greatest seasons of superhero television. I never like the hero revealing his identity to the world trope, but the way the show has handled the concept has made me love it. After watching the episode, it is the first time I felt so sad knowing the show will end. Genuinely a fabulous episode 10/10
Superman (2025) better be the best god damn movie ever, because it has a lot to live up to. This show just gave us the best Clark, the best Lois, the best Smallville, the best Jimmy Olsen, the most badass Lex Luthor, the best Doomsday vs Superman fight in live action, two amazing Superboys, some amazing grounded storylines, and I do believe the finale will be amazing, something completely new with the character, this show is my favorite superhero tv show ever, may be one of my favorites super hero related live action midia ever!!
Agreed or we are gonna lose the best superman 🦸♂️ show on television 📺 by far. I love the show title Superman 🦸♂️ and Lois 👜 I'm gonna miss 😢 this show so much. 😢
Tyler Hoechlin is by far my favorite superman and i'm super sad to see him go...... also i think we will se the sons take on the "superboy" roles in the next episode (get suits etc)
Tyler is also my favourite and it just annoys me to see him go so soon. Absolutely ridiculous decision to cancel superman and lois. I'm excited to see the boys as true superboys though, gonna bring some tears to my eyes lol
They don’t exist. This show is in the mind of Superman. Maybe he was captured by Darkseid and these are not his memories. He can’t have a child with a human.
Even before this magnificent final season, Tyler Hoechlin had already secured his place on the Mount Rushmore of Supermen, but these last few episodes in particular are undeniable proof of how good he is. Taking his Clark and Superman as a whole, nobody (and I do mean nobody) has played this character better than he has.
So incredible when Superman revealed himself in full costume after being shot at by Candice’s father. Also after Superman made that great plane save, I wonder if his powers are restoring.
13:00 - Clark had enough time to get some ketchup from the dinner, throw some on himself, pretend like the bullet hit him and that would've been it. No one would've suspected he's superman anymore.
Also referencing the fact that clark has emotional trauma from the fear his parents put in him about revealing his powers. This was excellent writing and acting
I think it's honestly crazy how this episode didn't really have that much action and is still a contender for a top five episode the show's ever done, it's really a testament to how good these writers are at their job and how much love they have for the character. Sometimes i's easy to forget that this show had major budget cuts and it's still managing to pull off some of the best superman ever seen. Loved this portrayal Of Jimmy Olsen, they got so much of his character right and showed much of who he is in this short span of time it's honestly amazing, kind of wished he was here from the start and i hope he's in these last 3 episodes because he's already one of my favorite versions of this character and that ending where they reunite is beautiful. There is a case to be made here that this is the best episode of the season lol
If this episode wins an Emmy or even gets nominated, they’ll regret canceling the show. Loved the friendship between Jimmy and Clark, how they rekindled that friendship after Clark reveals his secret
This episode was so good. I was 50/50 they whole time if he was gonna reveal it now or at the end of the season. Clark was going hard on keeping his secret and had excepted that keeping the secret will suck. And the boys agreed to do it, so I figured we would get an episode or two of the boys struggling with it. Then Candice's dad walked in and I'm like I can think off at least 5 ways he can fake this (Superboy save, fake a wound, make a speed merge as he is more then fast enough, make the gun misfire, dodge and knock the dude out), but at the same time this is the perfect moment to reveal it.
This was the best Clark to Superman change in the diner, visually. It was also cool when he went back to the diner without his glasses, the people just called him Clark.
I loved this episode, I’m so sad they’re not continuing this is hands down one of the best cw superhero show almost tops the first few seasons of the flash for me.
I really thought this season would lead up to Clark and Superman being in the same place at the time and later on him saying "Thanks Bruce" which would easter egg the switch thise two do at times. But i like where this is going though, we ve never seen live action Superman reveal his identity and the human touch of clark reconnecting with Jimmy after so long and Jimmy acting like it was no big deal was awesome.
This episode made me teary. Him trying to stop his identy from getting spread, but that didn't work eventually. Loved that slow shot in the diner when Emmet shot the bullet, and Clark looking at Lois before revealing his identity. Really good interview too and episode again.
I loved the episode, season 4 just keeps sending bangers, but I can't help but wonder if Clark should've revealed himself via a save? I loved the visual, and the quiet decision he had to make, but I wonder how it would work if maybe Emet caused an accident (e.g. accidentally firing at a pipe, or sending something at a pet) that only Clark can stop. It'd still allow for the speed-time visual, and let Clark contemplate, while also showing his self-sacrifice, and making it a decision. Idk. Still crazy happy with the decision made, though.
I think this season is clearly the best season of Superman and Louis. There has only been one average episode with the rest being bangers! Season 1 was really good as well!
I think the only thing *slightly annoying* for me in this episode is how they seemed to indicate keeping Clark’s secret was so they could have a normal life. I’ve always believed that him keeping a secret identity was to protect Clark’s friends and family. He would know he’s largely indestructible so his enemies would try to hurt him through his friends and family. Now everyone knows he’s Superman, surely every enemy would come wreak havoc in Smallville…
This episode was definitely a baller, I was crying and screaming my head off!!! I can tell you right now that was the most insane episode ever!!! Lots of emotions all around!!! I can’t believe it’s ending already!!! I’m definitely going to miss this show. I can’t wait for next week, my birthday is also next week!!! I hope they we have an easter egg about it in the episode!!!
Such a bittersweet episode. It hit as hard as that bullet. “The Secret” is so much a part of who Clark Kent is; it took on a life of its own. And now, along with its physical manifestation of the glasses, it’s gone for good. Guess it had to be killed because someone eventually would sing like a canary. And it’s nice that Clark can now have honest relationships. But I still feel like something is lost, something is missing. Maybe it’s that Lois now has to share her husband with the world, as Margot Kidder’s Lois lamented in Superman 2. Though Bitsie’s Lois doesn’t appear to believe this will be a problem - at least one she and the boys can’t handle. Idk. And poor Lana. Budget cuts meant that she had to miss out on the big moment! Finally, I loved the references to the iconic rescues in Superman 1 and 2. Wish this series had had a really fun LL/Superman rescue. Really heart wrenching excellent episode though.
I know Timmy was a big douche since S1 but I genuinely felt sorry for him. He saw what he saw and it was the truth. Then to have his mom openly question his honesty and drug use to side with the Kents had to hurt him deeply. It was nice to see there seemed to be some reconnection with his mom when all was finally out in the open.
The guy was an idiot. He was basically asking to get knocked out by the two guys with superpowers and unlike basically everyone else in town was one of the two people trying to expose Superman's secret identity.
Superman 🦸♂️ and Lois👜 Wow😱😱😱 what an Episode there are No Words for this Episode but Wow 😱😱😱 Superman is what i can do, Clark is who he is. This line was from a different Superman 🦸♂️ show best episode yet by far. Thank you 😊 pagey for asking my opinion.
Other question where does he leave his clothes ever he ript open his shirt and where do you leave that cape haha all things hard to do in a real life superman/Clarkent to keep it hidden..
Great episode. I do like the symmetry even if it's unintentional that both Superman and Supergirl reveal their identities to the world in the final seasons of each of their shows, Plus Superman had his identity revealed twice to the world in recent years in the comics. Forcibly in the new 52 era in the early 2010's which was erased from continuity in the DC Rebirth era and then again from 2018 by choice this to time to the end of 2022 where Lex forcibly made his identity a secret again in Action Comics # 1050 to the majority of the world except himself and immediate family and many in the superhero community thanks to mental blocks from Martian Manhunter.
Some of the dialog in this episode reminded me of the elseworlds story "Superman Secret Identity." it's a Superman in the "real world" he has twin daughters and he was afraid that if the government found out about them, they would come and take them away.
Look it this way lex knows and there is chance lex could tell everyone this way Clark takes that power away from him and tells everyone himself the remaining eps is going to be interesting
@@Sukxdelux agreed don’t get me wrong I hate the whole superheroes telling everyone their identity but as I said lex knows and clark knows there might br chance he will tell people at least this way Clark tells them on his terms and taking away the fear of lex telling
Hi there! 2 things: #1 Did you notice that Chrissy (The girl at the store that had the plane crashing on TV) was walking out at the end before Clark went to Jimmy, that she says "Hi Mr Kent". Is this a hint that (Most) will STILL see him as Clark Kent? #2: When the gun was fired, I thought to myself "Will the gun still hit Clark and actually injure him (Because he lets it or because of his heart), but then I saw there is a waitress behind Clark, so he wouldn't let that happen. So there was only one option.
I really wish they would have done something with his glasses in the interview, like just a comment that it’s tech from his world that made them not believe that he is Superman or something, like it is in the comics
Which of the boys is going to break bad? This was neat. This was a good episode. Even though I hated what they did with Jimmy. Glad he was all mature about it.
Okay, but what if he jams his finger into his chest through super strength to simulate a bullet wound, then puts the bullet in there, and then at normal speed he falls to the ground like he just got shot? Lol, I know, that wouldn't work.
Between sunday night and monday night Penguin killed Victor, yellowstone killed John Dutton, and Superman's identity was revealed to the world. Don't think I've ever experienced so many crazy TV twists in such a short time frame
see the good and the bad of people know who he was superman like the boys get bully by that one guy and the dad shoot at clark those are the bad and the good it when people will protect him and see Jimmy, I totally forgot about Jimmy, and see the backstory of how Clark and jimmy fell out cause he didn't tell Jimmy he was superman, I kinda hate Jimmy those like bro how Clark suppose to trust him, they only start work together, I won't trust him to and see Clark hurt by lose Jimmy those, I felt that like he was used to lose friends and now they made up
The scene where he reveals himself Superman/Clark also had no choice but to take the hit. if he had moved out of the way of the bullet would have hit Sarah she was right behind him.
They had a season 7 plan that’s being said by the show runners themselves a combination of factors like the new superman movie and the fact the owners wants to get rid of its scripted shows ( thanks nexstar not)they reduced the budget got rid of the other regulars and reduced ep count tgey decided to make season 4 its last
Likely ecause of Lois reaction and heard one of the boys saying dad little things they put it together and since smallville is like it is news spreads fast
Maybe I missed something with this whole multiverse thing but according to Supergirl when we first got introduced to the Superman Jimmy Olson was a black dude and of course naturally his sister is black and this is supposed to be the same Superman with Louis here so how come Jimmy Olsen is now a white dude? I ain't asking this question to do with color I am just confused because it doesn't matter to me to comic anybody could be anyone but for continuity is what's throwing me off. That I miss something along the way because this version of Superman is supposed to be the same one that was with Supergirl unless this is another one from a completely different multiverse. I'm just lost when it comes to that
Crisis on Infinite Earths gave Superman and Lois an different reality and history, as well as two teenage boys instead of one adolescent child, and separated them from the rest of the Arrowverse heroes on Earth Prime. On this Earth, Superman is the only superpowered hero, and Jimmy has never been Guardian (I think that was his vigilante name in Supergirl)
Superman and Lois the best show on the CW too bad it's coming to an end All because James Gunn don't want the show around because he don't want this show competing against his version of Superman how stupid
This version of Jimmy Olsen was an absolute clown 🤡 idk why the writers would go this route. Then again the writers have been doing a lot of dumb/melodramatic stuff on this show since the end of season 2 😭
I know he's a criminal and supposed to be not very smart, but what did Candace's dad think he was going to accomplish after knowing Clark's secret and threatening him with a g*n? Sure he was planning on outing him. Was he also just trying to harm and humiliate him cuz of what clark did? It's Superman. Everyone in the world knows Superman is impervious to bullets, and has super strength and speed which he could have easily used to smack down Candace's dad. And being superman would just make Candace's dad look more like an idiot. Was not a good plan at all
Stupidest thing was that he didn’t even believe Lex, who told him in the first place. After the reveal, Emmett said “so it’s true, he was right,” meaning he didn’t even think that Clark was Superman. Dude went in there and assumed he was shooting at a regular old guy and almost killed him.
How about a plot twist - all of this is happening in a virtual reality - Clark is still in suspended animation while the boys fight to get his heart back
There's always a dissenting opinion. Season 1 was good and Season 2 was excellent. Season 3 fell off a cliff, and this season is basically meh. This is confirmed by the lack of viewership. The show only has between 430k and 510k viewers. There really isn't any major interest in this show. It will be interesting how DC/CW Network ends this show. DC and Marvel must change their direction or close their doors. The "Arrowverse" towards the end was awful, and the animated "Tomorrowverse" was basically terrible. I'm glad that the universe is over. The "Crisis on Infinite Earths" 3-part story was boring and atrocious, They finally ended Earth-12 with the "Timmverse", and made it look like Mark Hamill's Joker and Kevin Conroy's posthumous Batman appearance in the finale like they had some form of romantic relationship. The upcoming "Superman Legacy' movie is probably not going to be very good. It's a wait-and-see process on how Gunn's new DC universe will be successful or not. I don't think it will be,
Ok. With all these “ I THINK” worst ideas they came up with, from weakening him to revealing his identity, with no doubt they are gonna retire him at the end. Although I cried with that interview, but I really hated what they are doing to him. I wish we could finish this lovely show with a perfect strong badass superman, not the old, human, revealed, and retired one 💔
The other earth Superman have to intervene because of Superman reveals himself and that is not allowed in the multiverse. The children in this multiverse is a abomination and must be destroyed
The series is really slowing down.....OMG we need some action!! Hopefully the final 3 episodes are off the hook!! Otherwise they could have ended the series once DOOMSDAY was no longer a threat!

@TimSweeney-n6p Was supposed to be 6 seasons like Supergirl
They had a season 7 plan that’s being said by the show runners themselves a combination of factors like the new superman movie and the fact the owners wants to get rid of its scripted shows ( thanks nexstar not)they reduced the budget got rid of the other regulars and reduced ep count tgey decided to make season 4 its last
in retrospect, we should've known lex was the one who outed him to the whole town; how did no one even consider that until now?
Because people saw them after he died and put it together, and could have been spreading the info around.
Likely ecause of Lois reaction and heard one of the boys saying dad little things they put it together and since smallville is like it is news spreads fast
I loved this episode
jimmy 👍🏿
Thanks for bringing up to date!!
So which surprise character does Luther tell Clark's weakness to?? 😁😁
When is other earth Superman coming to reverse time
Superman and Lois the best show on the CW too bad it's coming to an end All because James Gunn don't want the show around because he don't want this show competing against his version of Superman how stupid
The world knows but the son did say nothing? When do they get there suits
Janet Olsen should have been Jimmy post transition
How about a plot twist - all of this is happening in a virtual reality - Clark is still in suspended animation while the boys fight to get his heart back
Hi
I don't think it will be,
The plane is similar to the Superman returns one.
@ can’t we just ask Flash to go back in time and kill Jordan who is the reason of this mess in the first place?😑
Kyle and Chrisse are the most boring characters in Superman and Lois. Everytime they are in an episode i roll my eyes 🙄
yeah,,,they are bad, not as bad as Sarah though
The series is really slowing down.....OMG we need some action!! Hopefully the final 3 episodes are off the hook!! Otherwise they could have ended the series once DOOMSDAY was no longer a threat!
I didn't like this Jimmy. Great episode but he was so annoying
jimmy has always been a nerdy/ annoying character, so he played the role perfectly,,, they made him way cooler than he is supposed to be in Supergirl
