So glad I found your video. I had cleaned out lint from bobbin then later found the spring on the floor and did not know where it came from. You save me an embarrassing trip to Bernina store!😂

My Q20 bobbin case constantly needs to be retention. It doesn't matter if I use a pre wound bobbin or wined my own, it loosen tension throughout quilting the same bobbin???? For example i quilted a 35 x50 area and the tension started to loosen. It had only just been serviced. Could the screw/case be faulty? 🤷‍♀️

Hmm.. it shouldn't need to be re-tensioned that often. It could be an issue with the screw. You could take it by your dealer to have checked out. I honestly recommend always having a back up bobbin case (and bobbin case spring) - which I know is expensive but if you have an issue like that or drop it or anything you'll be happy you had it. I use it for trouble shooting at times too. Just to weed out issues. Double check that you have the thread all the way under the spring when threading the bobbin case too.

Wow. What a great video. I do not have access to training so I lean on youtube. I just ordered my Q16. Could you link the info on tension and threads?
