Looking good Steve. Keep the walk arounds coming. No one does it better!
Hey Steve, I can tell your speech abilities are improving. Great to hear! Thanks for powering through anecdotes sharing your knowledge again. Maybe I will get to buy you a beer someday!! Cheers
Great balls of fire - this thing must launch like it's coming off an Aircraft Carrier. Great day two look, this is truly what I remember them looking like. And in defense of the X-11 - in the hot hatch market, they were excellent. Thank you High Octane Classics and Mr Magnante as always ~ Chuck
Yes, those LS5's were quite the torque monster.
Thank you Steve!👍
Thank you Steve, thank you HighOctain sure looks like someone is going to buy an outstanding car.
Man my nephew in the mid 70s had one of those! His was blue with the white stripes, ss454, with the cowl induction also. His was stock! The transmission was automatic with the H pattern style shifter. Awesome video Steve!👌😎👍
I dig it. Glad to see you putting on some weight.
Awesome Chevelle! Yellow’s not my favorite color though. Thanks so much for sharing it! 🙏🏼
beautiful car
Great burnout ending
A tire shredding monster!!! Nice job guy’s! Love it

Beautiful car, Steve. Watch out with shaving 😉
It's a High Boy. Even raises up when when it is nailed. 😂
That's a beautiful car.And it's got AC.
Go Steve Go!
Great job
1974 GTO had a cold air induction scoop that was vacuum electric piece.
Later 2nd generation Camaro models (some of them) had "Air Induction" on the sides of the scoop.
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. Professor Steve 🎓🍎📓📏✏️ Class is in sensation ! Once again very informative & interesting ! Glad to your looking better 🍩☕️👀😎👍🇺🇸
👍
Nice Heavy Chevy Steve
🖖
2nd day REbuild, not build as GM already built it and the hobbyist REbuilds it. Yes, 1971 model year with the VIN (from the HOC website) for the win: 1 for Chevrolet, 36 for Malibu V8, 37 for two door Sports Coupe, 1 for 1971 model year, L for Van Nuys, CA assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Van Nuys CA plant was one of the "Terrible Three" in the GM system (all in the state of CA) that were known for poor quality. The Van Nuys plant closed in 1992 and the other "Terrible Two" were Southgate and Fremont or "Freaky Fremont" (both closed in 1982). The Fremont plant today assembles Tesla vehicles but from 1984 to 2010 it was the site of the NUMMI joint venture with Toyota and GM.
We got the tag (from the HOC website), we can brag: 71 for 1971 model year, 13637 for Chevrolet (1) Malibu (36) two door Sports Coupe (37), L for Van Nuys, CA assembly, possible 706 for Black bucket seat interior trim (hard to read on the tag), 67 67 for Classic Copper lower and upper exterior paint and possible 08D for the fourth week of August 1970 production.
It appears to maybe have had AC originally based on the dashboard (but hard to tell) and it also had a color change at one time. It would have been great to see a photo or breakdown of the build sheet.
Truly appreciate the car! But my God.......that yellow is NOT a good color on that car 😢....
I don't mind the yellow but it should have black stripes not white
That’s pure gas drinking tire shredding American muscle
Wrong color 4 sure
BEST LOOKING CHEVELLE in my humble opinion, best looking taillights to, Beautiful Car in this video with American pride.👍👍 I'd take that car there over anything new in today's market. REAL DEAL MACHINE 👍 SMILES PER GALLON. 👍👍😁AMERICA 🇺🇸
Steve, the more videos you do the better you sound. It seems the more of these videos you do is helping your mind get back on track.
Another nice car they have for sale .
Beautiful car sounds like it’s built well thank you Steve for presenting it! You are the best
YEAH baby!!
Beautiful car, great presentation
Thanks again Steve
Definitely not a mellow yellow..It’s screaming look at me..
Like to line it up with my ford. At least for an eighth
You're the best, Steve!!!
Wow that’s nice.
Thank you Steve
Beautiful car.
I had a '71 and loved it. Always liked the round taillights but would have preferred the '70 grill. Or just round taillights on the '70.
It’s a curious thing as to how this car ended up in Massachusetts when originating on the west coast, and I guess whoever redid this car took off all the smog components.
