If you fold it in half and get front and back panels, why do you say you cut it twice, and then when you do the to-scale version, you have 4 pieces? Doesnt that mean you cut the pattern four times?

Hi, if you go to the pattern you will find a front pannel and a back pannel, you’ll have to cut two of each
