This won't be like my last two Cadillac videos but more like more old videos. This was an unplanned tour & secondly the dealer requested that I make a quick tour of it as customer who's interested in it just wanted a video that better shows off the car.

This was the oldest Cad i ever drove and arguably the most handsome. The 3.6DI V6 made 305 horsepower on regular gas.........one of the best GM cars on the secondhand market

Exactly, especially the inside infotainment system to that CUE system... This was much simpler.
Imagine if they would have kept the same concept for the exterior . My oh my would that have been a sharp car.

I work at a Car Dealership, trading in my 2003 Chevy Cavalier for this car here. Customer traded in their 2011 Cadillac CTS 3.6L V6. It’s very clean and relatively low mileage for its year! I’m so excited to upgrade! 😊

@@_shmunk6816 My Recommendations Is To Go Check It Out And Ask Questions About The Car And Take A Look At The Outside Of The Car , The Interior Is Looking Nice & Definitely Take A Look At The Tires To See If They Are In Good Condition With Good Tread Wear & Definitely Take A Look Under The Hood And Inspect The Engine And Just Question About The Engine & Mileage On The Car & Test Drive It To See How It Rides & Stuff Like That , So That's About It & By The Way If The Car Is At Dealership Get The Carfax On It Because Carfax History Should Tell You What You Need To Know About The Car. Hopefully This Information Help You Out Some 👍✌️

I am considering buying this car ( 2009 AWD, 3.6 DI ) and need some help. Does the AWD version of this car still feel like a performance sedan, or is the AWD more tuned for comfort. Please write back with some good, honest responses. I don't want to drive an hour away just to be disappointed lol :)
+1970borntorun be careful i just got an awd one, they dont handle well compared to other awd cars, this car mainly runs on rwd, occasionally it will lock awd mode when it needs to, it also had binding issues with the transfer case. my opinion would be to go with rwd or pick another awd car. control arms are 500 per piece and thats just for the top arms. gas milage is pretty good tho
Athif Farouque I'm not buying one, period. They drive pretty well but the seats have zero support for the type of car this is trying to be - an American 3 Series.
I agree the seats are too stiff they should be more plush. The recaros are worse
No! They aren't too stiff, they are too wide and have no side bolstering to hold you in place during corners!
They have known transfer case issues input/outshaft job just cost me 2500.00 bux!! steep but i loved the car so much i paid to have it fixed in the past few weeks. My car now has 91k on it..

Don Johnson You Can’t really compare a GS Lexus to a (08-13)CTS..there’s major size differences..you can really only compare it to a Lexus is..
Kingdrosive 3 the cts is closer to an is than a gs? Reason I compare them is because there a similar price point. I like the looks of the cts more and the fact that it's American. So my question is, for the money, which would you go with? Thanks for responding.
Don Johnson ohhhhh..gotcha, didn’t know the price differences ..I’d personally go with Lexus because of their reputation for reliability..I never owned a Cadillac from what I hear..they can be problematic but if I were to get one..I would get the cts..it looks cool and hopefully holds up long-term

@Anita Ayon wound up getting a 2011 acura TL with the sh-awd. I was able to find 1 with a manual. Absolutely love it.

It's been a few years since you made this video, do you think they are reliable?
Little crappy quirks like the pop-up nave screen, the push button door latches on the coupe, bad quality plastics in some parts of the interior. Mechanically they are quite sound. Probably a few hairs more reliable than a German rival but nowhere on par in terms of performance & interior quality

how reliable would you say it is? i know you said a couple hairs more than a german but do you mean that in a good or bad way? can you see this car going well into 150k miles with little problems like a honda or is that just not believable? im looking at one with 40k miles on it

No I bought my Cadillac and couldn’t do Bluetooth so I had to buy an exhilaration cord and a Lightning to Digital A/V Adapter to listen to music from my phone.

@@Drod11z I didn’t sell it, I sadly crashed it while hydroplaning on the high way. But reliability wise I would say 7/10 mine was used. I recommend the vechile it’s beautiful.

Scarlet, I had an ‘08 CTS4 (AWD) in ‘15. During that astronomical Winter we had that year, I used it to drive for Uber here in Boston, and it was amazing. The car never got stuck, and only went sideways when I wanted it to. The only problem for snow driving, is that the front of the car is really low, so you have to watch out for solid snow and ice.
Very good I have one identical and it does better in the snow than my Subaru

They started offering Bluetooth in the CTS4 in around 2010, my ‘08 didn’t have it.

timing chaines are very poor, first replacement at 20. 000 miles
@Issa Vibez in US nobody takes care about own car) oil change must be every 3000 miles and engine will be ok) but this does not concern GM 3.6 engines)
Reffering to interior- cozy, really nice looking... squeaking, creaking plastic shit! "Soft materials" but pull the door handle and listen that noise. Push this "woody" panels-the same story. Quality of potato. But the car is very good looking!
