I’ve became a little too obsessed with this guy since watching Shadowhunters. I loved him in Glee too but he was just on another level good in Shadowhunters. He is so talented it is unreal. He can also sing.
As you would expect. He is a perfect dancer. I wish Magnus and Alec had another chance to dance in Shadowhunters. To see the two dancing is just wonderful. I see the scene again and again.The music is perfect.
Talent is off the scale. Discovered him in Shadow Hunters & realised what a graceful dancer he was in the scene with Dot. It's the hours of training & parental support growing up, that must have gone into such an accomplished, multi-disciplined, performer.

Believe it or not, Harry Shum Jr reminds me of Gene Kelly. Not in the style of dance so much, but some of the themes are similar, like dancing with umbrellas, but also in innovation. Gene Kelly spent hours thinking of creative ways to dance in films and I think Harry Shum does the same thing. Who would think to dance on a tread mill? Good luck to him.
