I remember this song , so happy that the full version is finally out there ... I am beyond thankful for this woman and such a perfect song , thank you so much Michelle ... I found this when I watched Tiger Eyes , fell in love ever since , and needed it just as much ... Brings back so much pain and hurtful memories , but I'm glad I can look back now and know my life has vastly improved and that I'm in such a better place now ... The past can really hurt when looking back , but I think it's there to help us remember not so much where we were , but where we want to be ... There can still be so much to live for.

well ..... i dont really remember when exactly i got to listen her first song, but maybe it was ALL YOU WANTED back when MTV played music. and besides the
rhythm i think what got me was the lyrics ... i felt as she was singing my life through them. i felt so identified ... i had kind of a rough childhood and the way she sings with so much emotions got me. then i coulnt stop. became a fan for life. ive got every single album of hers

Jared V I’m from the US.
I remember I was 13 or 14 when I saw this beautiful girl with a guitar singing Everywhere. I knew there was something special about her in that she wasn’t a Britney or Christina and she seems like a cool chick you could hang out with. From then, I saw “All You Wanted”, “Goodbye to You”, “Breathe”, and “Are You Happy Now?” and man, I couldn’t believe this hot girl was so talented. Even then, I knew she sang from her heart and soul. She has an air of authenticity and a genuine sweetness and honesty in every single song she writes and performs.
I didn’t like her country stuff at first but I recently grew to love it and that I’ve been on a MB binge the last 3 months because I found out about Hopeless Romantic recently and it is AMAZING. I love Best You Ever and Knock Yourself Out so much. She still has the talent and quality writing for sure.
Then I discovered West Coast Time on here and it is a damn shame it never got released. She deserves more people to know about her and what talent she has or at least her big fan base back then should know.
I’m happy to know that I’m not supporting just a great artist but a wonderful and sweet person from every interview I’ve seen her do and all of these people talking about how she’s so grateful that people remember her.
She has helped me discover who I am as a person through her music and help calm me down through times of stress and anxiousness.
I hope she makes a new album and tours again because I’ve never had the privilege to see her live and it is something I must do before I get too old
@@StreetsAhead120 well you are really lucky. If i was at the US i would probably stalk her every concert.. but i am really sad that i will probably never see her in real life.
I loved her country albums from the get go. Her albums Stand Still and Look Pretty and ECAG made me love country music and then i started to listen to some other country music.
Hopeless Romantic never came to my country so i couldnt buy it. But something amazing happened in my life and i had the opportunity to travel to the UK and i went into a record store and there it was waiting for me. i bouth the album right then and there. It was the best thing I brough back from my trip.
I get what you say about not being a Britney wanna be, but i dont share the Christina comparason, actually even when Christina its a bit pop, still she is very genuine and talented. And when Michelle Branch helped me go through very sad moments of my life and through some very bad brake-ups, Christina help me by making me feel better about me being gaya nd help me accept who I am. you see in my country they still bully very badly and sometime even kill a lot of gay people. so I have a lot to thank them both.
Michelle Branch is such a talented artis and I hate that she doesnt get the recognition she derserves :( If you ever meet her, tell her Jared Vallejo loves her
@@jaredvr Your story of getting Hopeless Romantic reminds me of 2 months ago when I went to a local mall to rebuy Spirit Room and Hotel Paper. I was walking through the mall to get to the music store and I stopped dead in my tracks because I heard something familiar. Goodbye to You was playing while I walked to rebuy her CDs.
