I personally like the 2 speed u can add some lube helps with the noise but u also understand the low ratio 1st gear crawl then the 2nd gear speed with a brushless system it's no comparison in the cogging issues that 2 speed fixes

Thank you I have single one get install , but esc ? Would knew v3 work better or traxxas XL 2.5 ?
I haven't tried traxxas XL 2.5, but the V3 works fine to me...
But also the single speed much quieter 🤫

I have the single speed 370 and it's doing the same thing, try and slow crawl and it amps out at an obstacle fast it's fine but slow it's no good, I'm going to try a 30a esc aftermarket and see what happens if that doesnt work I'm going to remove reduction box and try that if that doesnt work I'm going brushless w reduction box and so on and so forth, I know alot of mine is in the stock rtr axles too I have replacements on the way so hopefully that helps some my stock ones are all loose and jankedy!
Some friends use 3s because the resV3 circuit board can handle 3s batteries.

Kalau gear transfer case tu slip lagi, cuba terbalikkan gear dia...tapi shaft reducer tu perlu panjangkan sikit supaya boleh screw gear tu, boleh welding atau beli reducer yg panjang shaftnya...untuk gearbox single speed la..sorry kalau menyibuk😅

The two speed will run away on downhill when throttle is released...the single speed will stop...better mechanical drag brake! I run all my wpl's on 3s lipo...no lack of torque or low speed control! AND the single speed doesn't make that disgusting noise!
