Hello here. I just want to give my opinion on this video. From what I can see, AI is getting a little bit better with illustrating steam locomotives. I will say there's a good mixture of accurate and not so accurate looking steam locomotives. What I would probably do is type the exact steam locomotive that you want AI to do. For example, like the flying Scotsman, Mallard, Big Boy, Daylight 4449, and others. AI still has a long way to go on this. But I hope AI will create the most accurate steam locomotives. They are magnificent!! My brother-in-law actually runs a tourist train from South Africa, not a steam-train, but a real beauty nonetheless. His train is called the Pride of Africa.
I'm intrigued by the dact Ireland got a 4-8-2 even though we never gad anything bigger than 4-6-0. Also the Icelandics have gone Chinese and the Maltese are part of the GWR it seems 😂😂
AI knows nothing of Danish steam trains. No funnel tie, square German number plates instead of the rounded ones we used on the smoke box door. somehow it thinks the frame was painted red here.
I'm a massive steam and train enthusiast, and these look so weird to me. Most of them are pretty close, but they're not classes that exist. Haha. I knew that we'd get Hogwarts Castle! The really strange thing is seeing the tender engines without tenders. They look completely wrong to me, and it seems strange that they wouldn't look wrong to other people.
Most countries: Normal steam locomotives on normal railroads. American steam locomotives 2:28 YEE HAW WE'RE ON THE YELLOWSTONE SUPERVOLCANO RAILROAD TO HELL!
This is interesting. A lot of these engines came with 10 driving wheels which is a slow heavy freighter setup and don't suit passenger trains very well. Also the passenger traffic in europe isn't that much for a long train such as Chinese 18-coaches setup. 6 coaches is already a lot for low population countries such as UK. Tajikstan has got 14 driving wheels. Guess it bought the soviet AA20.
@@7822welshsteam Compared to China it is. Guess what "springs pressed to bottom" is a common alert on busy season Chinese railway operators. It's a consist of 18 passenger cars packed like sardine so overweighted that the train cannot move until the excess passengers are removed. Bet UK never get across such a thing.
@@phoenixarian8513 It's actually more densely-populated than China. It's just that most of our citizens can afford cars. We have the 22nd biggest population in the world, which puts us firmly in the top 8th of countries by population.

You can think of half of densely populated area paired with half of uninhabited zones such as Xinjiang and Tibet. The load of UK passenger service isn't that high is also down to there isn't so many places to go to in scope of the island. And yes you can drive there without getting exhausted.
If this (words suitable for publication fail me to describe some of the abominations shown pretending to be steam locomotives) is the best AI can do then humanity has no worries about it ever taking over.
The U.K. train could easily have been more reminiscent of the one that went almost 203km/h. If I'm not mistaken, there was another steam bullet train out there.
