When you buy a set of dishes ask the cashier if you can get a deal for purchasing the entire set. If they can’t do it, they ask for who can r the manager. They usually will give you a deal! Doesn’t hurt to ask.
I know she kept saying “stirrups”, but my head started singing “I’ve got spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle” even before I consciously recognized the error!
Just want you know I really love all the knowledge you put forth. Could give a 🐀🐁arse if your nails are done, or hair is in place. Lol keep doing you! You’re amazing!
I have never been in a Goodwill anywhere near where I live that has the amount of stuff that the ones around you seem to have. But - bonus for us - we get to see what you find and learn from you.
At 9:05, that is Iris & Herringbone, by Jeanette, the iridescent was made in the 1950s through the 1970s. In Crystal, it was made in the 1920s through 1930s
Louis Vitton purses have the logo LV right side up on one side and upside down on the other. That's because only one piece of leather is used and when wrapped around the bottom, the reverse side is upside down.
Goodwill prices keep going up and up.I do envy you having so many to choose from. I would have to drive 2-3 hours to get to one half that big or to the bins. Great job with the dinnerware!!! I love ❤️ the color and design. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and adventure with us 😊 Blessings 🙌 🙏
Love your videos. I've learned so much from you. Daily habit for me. I'm always hoping you find a glassy baby. I found one yesterday!! So your turn is coming. Have a great day.
That LV cherries bag looked pretty authentic to my eyes....it's all in the feel, though. I scored a vintage LV Keepall 55 duffel from my fave GW in Buffalo last week for $7.29......I never imagined finding anything like it locally. One never knows what incredible finds will be discovered in the most inconspicuous thrift stores. Thanks again for sharing!
An authentic coach purse has a individualized set of numbers stamped into a leather tag that’s attached on the inside of the purse (the tag is REAL leather). That set of numbers is used to warranty the bag. The company uses that code to authenticate each purse/bag. I used to be a sales rep for Coach!
I love shopping with you. I'm learning a lot. Thanks for taking me along. I"ve been buying Starbucks ceramic coffee mugs...I noticed you missed one behind the Bee mug with the bad handle. They bring about $18-$25, especially if they have the correct lid.
First thing I ever re-sold was two Starbucks Mugs - think I got about €30 for them which is not much different to $30. I sold them the same day I listed them and that was me hooked. Now my kitchen looks like a scene from The Antiques Roadshow and I have so much stuff that I never get round to listing. I go through days when I am like a whirlwind of activity and others when I am just watching other people on UA-cam making money lol. Which reminds me, I set a goal to list 6 things today and it is 2.30pm in Ireland and I have yet to start. I'd love to stay and chat but I don't have any Starbucks mugs these days so I better get moving 🤩.
It's so rough watching you when I am not able to get to a Goodwill or go out 'hunting' estate sales, etc.... I'm going through withdrawals!!! But at least I can get my fix, vicariously though you, Jocelyn, until I can get out again this weekend. 😂 🤣 So thanks for helping through!! 😂
You may already know this, but look for restaurant ware made for a specific company. A railroad or hotel or the like. They can sell for much more than generic ones. Love your videos!
What a fun find! A stirrup is where the foot goes while riding and spurs are a Y shaped metal piece that goes on the heel of the boot. Definitely worth more than $7. Those look like spurs.
The last Vera Bradley wallet you handled for $9.49 is actually an I-pad holder. That's about what the used ones go for on ebay, where I bought mine. I absolutely love the red set of dishes and the Honey Bee bowls. Great finds.
Great video as always!! You found some great things!! Love watching your videos and see what you find!! You are a sweet person!! Much love!! 🥰🥰❤️💜🌺💖💙🦋🦋🦋🙏🙏💕💕💖💖💙💙💙💙
Love the Angel candleholders. Love seeing the baggie area! I wish at our goodwills they would hang them up they just pile them on top of each other. Very hard to look through
I used to pass mugs up all of the time until I learned about mugs from anthropology. They make all kinds of mugs, and sometimes they're under other names. I always comp mugs and I've found several that sold for good $
In the baggie those are spurs not stirrups. They are possibly rodeo spurs due to the angle & length the of the shanks. I am sure you could find some spurs online to compare.
Looking for a fun basketball for Ashton 16:22 ? I bought one for my nephew (who is about Ashton's age) on Amazon. It's an LED rechargeable light-up basketball they can play in the dark. My brother says they play every night and my nephew loves it. How fun would that be for the kids at the new house. 😁
The Honour bowl set has a bear that goes with it. I saw it on the shelf but you missed it. I saw it before you found the bowls. It’s a set. Omg I was yelling at my phone like you could hear me. 🐝
Awesome finds those dish sets are very pretty. Pretty purse 👜.Cute wooden cat kind looks like my friends cat . Have a wonderful day 💞 that u for sharing your story 📝
Rachel Strickland (that’s the name of her YT channel) gives a lot of good tips on how to authenticate Coach purses and other Coach items. She’s really good, too. Hope this is helpful ☺️
In the mugs, I saw a “keep calm and carry on” by Creative Tops (I recognize the crown logo on the bottom). I wanted to reach through the screen and turn it over to see if it had words along the inside rim. I have one, and have looked all over for a second one. The last time I saw one online it was over $30, so I didn’t buy it, and I’ve given up finding another.
My local Goodwill and maybe all of them stopped their color of the week sale and 99 cent Sundays on August 1st. I'm thinking it might affect their business somewhat.
I resale too, when I come across sets of plates, I started to get an equal number so 8 plates 8 bowls (if they are worth more single) Then I'd get them all.. But really I keep telling myself no more plates.. Shipping/boxing them is not always fun..
I work at goodwill and am a floor manager in danvers Massachusetts ....I watch you all time . Come visit our store!!!! We get alot of new and antiques......
Hi, everyone....^ .^
I am Nia from Indonesia, a nice to meet you all♡♡
The wooden wall box is for long stick matches I believe.
That is what I thought. 1970s. A lot of gas ovens still needed to be lit then.
That's what I was thinking too.
Yes, I had one years ago..
You are right. My granny had one in the kitchen to light the stove. It’s probably 60s or early 70s.
Yes it's for long matches. I had one on my wall next to our wood stove back in my hippie days :-)
The wooden wall hanger with the flowers held the long fireplace matches .. 😊
I thought it was for kitchen shears.
I use something similar for my stick incense and long lighter
When you buy a set of dishes ask the cashier if you can get a deal for purchasing the entire set. If they can’t do it, they ask for who can r the manager. They usually will give you a deal! Doesn’t hurt to ask.
The worst they can say is no. If you don't ask, the answer is ALWAYS no. 🤷♀️
The ‘stirrups’ are actually spurs. And can be valuable depending on who the maker is.
I know she kept saying “stirrups”, but my head started singing “I’ve got spurs that jingle, jangle, jingle” even before I consciously recognized the error!
When i realized that it made me giggle.
That’s a pricey Goodwill, but that red and gold dinnerware is divine.
Hey!! I have fallen in love with your channel and have binge watched all weekend!! ❤❤
The little bird dish in front of the red hurricane glass was adorable. About 1:54
Just want you know I really love all the knowledge you put forth. Could give a 🐀🐁arse if your nails are done, or hair is in place. Lol keep doing you! You’re amazing!
I am always impressed with the amount of items available at your goodwills
Goodwill prices seem to be going up and up! I feel like they are pricing themselves out of business.
They are. Lots of people in my area have stopped shopping at Goodwills because of their ridiculous prices. It's crazy
Greed is always the downfall.
Last time that happened in my area, the prices miraculously went down about 2 months later. They discovered we weren’t buying as much
Yup. I've stopped going for now.
I no longer stop at Goodwill because of high prices. Greed is a killer!
The painted wooden wall pocket with flowers is for long matches to lite a fire in your fire place.
Memories, The Westmoreland white sugar Bowl and creamer, I have a set. It was a wedding gift to my parents in 1954.
I have never been in a Goodwill anywhere near where I live that has the amount of stuff that the ones around you seem to have. But - bonus for us - we get to see what you find and learn from you.

That is the state of Maryland for you , always uping the price on used goods...We the people need to take down Goodwill !!!!
Thank you for all your efforts putting out videos and sharing your extensive knowledge!!
Wow, that red and gold dish ware is lovely!
Thank you so much always love shopping with you
I have never had a desire to buy a luxury handbag. If I did I'd have it wrapped in plastic like Grandma's sofa when I went out.
Birkins are $65,000.00. A youtuber named Jeffery Starr has a walking closet for his collection. Lol.
😄
@@rebahensley5323 Oh my!
🤣😅😆

Cute that you can laugh at your self. Funny girl.
Love the cat😻 Those prices are nuts!

“J” you are very charming and very hardworking. I appreciate you!
Love your videos. I've learned so much from you. Daily habit for me. I'm always hoping you find a glassy baby. I found one yesterday!! So your turn is coming. Have a great day.

I thought I saw that Starbucks too. I've been looking everywhere for a tall one to put iced coffee in. I finally got one on eBay for $5 :-)
First thing I ever re-sold was two Starbucks Mugs - think I got about €30 for them which is not much different to $30. I sold them the same day I listed them and that was me hooked. Now my kitchen looks like a scene from The Antiques Roadshow and I have so much stuff that I never get round to listing. The painted wall pocket was for the long fireplace matches
yes! my Aunt had a similar one
You may already know this, but look for restaurant ware made for a specific company. A railroad or hotel or the like. They can sell for much more than generic ones. Love your videos!
Heisey, Lariat is the maker and pattern of the clear vase at 4:07
Thank-you, Cathy! ☺️
What a fun find! A stirrup is where the foot goes while riding and spurs are a Y shaped metal piece that goes on the heel of the boot. Definitely worth more than $7. Those look like spurs.

I was surprised you went right by the planter with two birds at the start of the video. They looked Czech!
I definitely would have bought the cat😂. He’d look great by my fireplace!
Great video as always!! You found some great things!! Love watching your videos and see what you find!! You are a sweet person!! Much love!! 🥰🥰❤️💜🌺💖💙🦋🦋🦋🙏🙏💕💕💖💖💙💙💙💙
That cross with the eye. There is a prayer that starts "Be the eye of God dwelling in me". Funny, I never pictured God with googly eyes lol.
I just want that cat to ask me for food.. so precious.
I love those red and gold plates. I have that lazy Susan. I bought it years ago at an antique market in the Georgia mountains.
Love the Angel candleholders. Love seeing the baggie area! I wish at our goodwills they would hang them up they just pile them on top of each other. Very hard to look through
Baggies are my favorite!
My Goodwill doesn’t have them. 😢
I have a box similar to that for scissors. Great finds, happy hunting! Stay safe and be happy!
I used to pass mugs up all of the time until I learned about mugs from anthropology. They make all kinds of mugs, and sometimes they're under other names. I always comp mugs and I've found several that sold for good $
KPM Krister was an older branch from KPM, where KPM Berlin still exists and sells for good money.
The Royal Wedding mug.....
I have that design on a tea towel. Ordered it from London.
In the baggie those are spurs not stirrups. They are possibly rodeo spurs due to the angle & length the of the shanks. I am sure you could find some spurs online to compare.
Just ball spurs with a long shank. People use them when they don't want a rowel on the spur. Still, they can be expensive
Geez louise! They must really want to hang on to their plates! Those prices were nuts!
But admittedly. That red set of dishes was wonderful!
I use my wooden wall pocket to hold my scissors. Another one would hold honf matches for your fireplace.
The covered bowl at 7:26 is made in Indonesia by KIG Glassware.
Iris and Herringbone is the pattern on the Jeanette carnival glass. It also came in clear and in the 70's flashed blue and orange.
Hope youre doing well..you look fabulous!!
I REALLY liked the hobbyist sea shell covered dish!!!
The red and gold dinner wear is beautiful!
Looks like the wooden wall pocket was for long fireplace matches.
Jocelyn, several years ago i bought a candy dish like the clear you picked up at Everythings a Dollar.
Wasn’t that a fairy lamp to the left of the Friendly farm plates? It was clear but a unique design
The Honour bowl set has a bear that goes with it. I saw it on the shelf but you missed it. I saw it before you found the bowls. It’s a set. Omg I was yelling at my phone like you could hear me. 🐝
Those prices!! This store manager needs to wake up with a toy horse head in their bed. Sends a clear message 🛌 🐴
If the Brighton little bag doesn't sell, I bet Juliette would love it.
13:22 I like that yellow 2 compartment snack dish!
Hi Jocyln the crystal vase with the loops on the side is the Lariat pattern made by Heisey...not Fostoria.
Awesome finds those dish sets are very pretty. Pretty purse 👜.Cute wooden cat kind looks like my friends cat . Have a wonderful day 💞 that u for sharing your story 📝

I believe that the clear vase with the curlique handles was Indiana Glass.
The wall pocket was for long matches for the fireplace/woodstove or candles
The prices on dishes and stoneware certainly went up. Unfortunately at their prices they could end up sitting awhile.
Loved the cat with the mouse!
I love that LV “Cherise” bag! Even if it’s not real, I would have bought it! The strap on mine broke! Oh well. Still cool to see one in store.
It looks like goodwill is taking advantage of us as buyers. But I did love the maxwell coffee cups, I would love to have had a set of 4.
They are now competing with Thrifters. Nit a lot of name merchandise anymore and their prices on new Target items are often higher.
Love the lil bees cup
The first time you said candle hugger I heard candle hooker. Lol.
Lol OMG. You could list the candle angel huggers. As A COVID 🤗
At 12:35, I think that the red creamer you were looking for was right at the back!
Even Goodwill is getting ridiculous prices!!! Better off going to flea markets & antique stores!!
That set of dishes is beautiful!
My favorite thing today is
The set of red plates.
The wood box with the flowers painted on it maybe for the long stemmed matches
Love your vidoes. The long flowered box that you thought was for a plant is to hold long fireplace or gas stove matches.
Wow, those prices! Sticker shock
I do believe there was a creamer to that red plate set on the shelf in the very back right beside the green pitcher.
no kidding, is that a Goodwill or and Antique store, jeeez!
The wall pocket is for fireplace matches.
Wall pocket would hold long matches. Used to light old stoves and fireplaces.
Ahhh, the Starbucks mug!
My local Goodwill and maybe all of them stopped their color of the week sale and 99 cent Sundays on August 1st. I'm thinking it might affect their business somewhat.
The wooden cat is amazing!!!
The wooden box is for long matches, and the tole painting on it probably dates from the 1970s. ☺️

The Russian Collector Plates are absolutely gorgeous!
Agreed.They really are gorgeous.
Used to put long matches, the wooden box
I work at goodwill and am a floor manager in danvers Massachusetts ....I watch you all time . Come visit our store!!!! We get alot of new and antiques......
The carnival glass is Jeanette Herringbone and Iris
Hahahahaha! Love that Navi “Hey listen.” In the beginning.
Goodwill prices are so much higher than other resale shops but glad that you still find items that you can profit from.
When you’re in Maryland check the Orioles bobble heads to see if they’re retired players they could be valuable same for signed baseballs
