Every time you drop a video I click right away. Brian you are the only original van dweller on YT I still follow. You have not changed or deviate your aim all these years. I can’t help but to wish you health, safety, and joy for always. (Kelly is a God sent. Ever since you met her, you became more light hearted in your videos)
I’ve always enjoyed my better half right beside me when traveling..we talk about where we are where we’re going and maybe what we will do there. We’re headed for 53 years now and still enjoy each other’s company more then any thing else. Our time now that we’re not working are spent with each other, and our grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Wow wow wow Brian! This video has got to be one of the best you've ever produced. What an incredibly stunning area, and you were there at probably the most beautiful time of the year. At 14:42 I said "WOW" out loud - that water! The color! The view! And again, the fact that you let nature do the talking. Love when you get down low for a ground shot of the water and rocks on the beach. How lucky to come across that boat in that spot! Good luck to Kelly on her seasonal job and see her soon. Did you make enough money during the summer so that you don't have to work the beet harvest? First time in a few years you won't be there. Anyway, this video is going in my favorites list for sure to come back to watch again some day. Away you go!! 🌞
Wow Brian that area looked amazing !! That tour boat would’ve freaked me out haha. I find myself “borrowing “ your phrase “away we go” !! I hope that’s ok ?! I love it. Safe Travels Amigo !!
My favorite video so far! Nice to see you two ditching the vans for a backpacking overnight. This may sound strange but I find a lot of comfort and hope watching your videos. This morning I’m preparing breakfast and packing a lunch before another long 10 hour day working at Trader Joe’s. I’m definitely on that work grind but my heart’s desire is to convert my minivan and hit the open road for a long, long time. It’s not possible YET but your videos are a way for me to manifest and keep my dreams present. Thank you so much for sharing! Thanks to you too, Kelly - I know you’re a bit more camera shy but it’s always nice to see you. Many blessings to you both!
Wow, thank you for taking us along on your journey. Kelly seems to be your sole mate. The park was beautiful and now is on our list. Thank you for another great video. Safe travels.
I'm so glad there are two less lonely people in the world. I think it's so healthy that you and Kelly have a life together but still maintain individual lives as well. You CHOOSE to be together but don't NEED to be in each others space every second. 😃
Great video! I hail from this great state and live down state. I have a 2 week adventure I’m planning for the up coming months. The U.P. is one of the most scenic and beautiful places in my humble opinion. Lake Superior is my favorite Great Lake with Lake Michigan coming in a very close 2nd. I’m an avid rock hunter and Love the shores of Michigan. Thanks for sharing. Happy Trails! 🙌🏼😃💯
Brian, I’m speechless. This video was awesome. That hike was a lot longer than it had to be because of all the camera placements and then retrievals. We really appreciated this one in particular because we were at Pictured Rocks in early August. We were actually on that boat driving into the cove! It was so thrilling seeing it from your point of view. That hike looked awesome but we can’t do that anymore so thanks for doing it for us! 😆 We hope you and Kelly are back together soon.
Thank goodness for tarps! But seriously, you did a great job of documenting the beauty of a rainy afternoon in the woods. I could even feel the moisture and smell the lovely damp air watching your video.
Beautiful video captures! You and Kelly make the cutest couple. I even get a little sad when you two part ways. Thanks for sharing and hoping your adventures bring you back together soon.
Gorgeous area👍 I agree, Kelly does seem like a sweet soul, but then, so do you 😊 Longtime viewer, always looking forward to your next adventure. ...PeAcE
Awesome, awesome video, awesome views!!! The fall colors are so vivid and striking and uplifting! Yep, pictured rocks and the whole UP are on my bucket list! What a perfect time of year to experience it.
The squirrels in the tree were the most vocal squirrels I've ever heard thank you for sharing your life upon the road tell Kelly I said hi even though I don't know either of you
Wow that was a good boat driver! I take advantage of living here in Michigan, it is so beautiful, you did an amazing job showing how beautiful it is here.
Awesome video!!! The scenery is much like our Vancouver Island Canada on trails and just as rainy right now. I loved the waterfalls, beach and the tree on the rock was super. Many great shots. Thank you so much!
Chapel Rock wow, that tree and the roots 🥰, saw tons of face profiles in the rocks in this video, including to the right of that tree, looks like a rabbit! 😝xx
Chapel Rock looks freaking awesome. Also so glad to see how happy you and Kelly always seem to be around each other. When you were meeting her on the beach you could see the excitement in her face and hear the excitement in your voice just to see each other.
I lived in soo St Marie for 11months n worked in office next to that entry point near the bridge ...nice to see you went thru that area....brought back memories for me ...😀🙏
I can't find the words to describe this hike, beautiful, awesome and amazing and I'm know there are many more. Hope your time away from each other is short.
One of the big reasons I have watched your videos for years is because of your "adventure travels." It allows me to see parts of the USA (and now Canada) that I will never get a chance to see in person. Thanks! (a subscriber from Oregon).
Hi Brian, We are from Michigan and pictured rocks is one of favorite places if you get a chance check out Copper Harbor. Thanks for highlighting our beautiful state, peace be with you and Kelley.
I hiked from the UP to Key West last year. I wanted to go through Pictures Rocks but all the spots were reserved. I glad you showed this so that I now get to see it. 😊
Hope you got to enjoy a Pastie. The Keweenaw Peninsula is amazing. Seeing copper is the rivers is neat. Beware the deer, they love to get on the roads when the weather starts to cool so they can get some heat.
I knew you to be a truly good man the moment I shook your hand when I arrived at the caravan you hosted. No Kelly in your life yet at that point. So cool that I got to see the before and after. First time I saw Kelly smile, in Anza Borrego, I knew you were a gonner! Thank you for this gorgeous video. Love to you both!
Brian I'm so happy for you to have Kelly in your life. She truly is awesome. So glad that y'all were able to spend time in Canada as it is a beautiful country. Gee it is so amazing the views there on the lake in Michigan. Can't get over how clear and blue the water is as well as the rock walls. I loved this. Wishing you both safe travels. Looking forward to your next adventure. Thanks
Awwww ... I had a feeling that you would drive through my town and you end up over-nighting at Walmart 5 minutes from my house. lol It would have been cool to meet up and treat you both to dinner! I enjoyed the trip to Canada. Cheers!
Welcome to Michigan, my home state. You picked a great time to hike. Awesome fall colors, end of bug season AND the awesome scenery. The UP does not disappoint.
Beautiful part of Michigan! I lived my first 14 years in Illinois and have never been that far north in Michigan. Beautiful tree color and water color.
My husband and I took a trip up to pictured rocks about 10 years ago I'm guessing and it was absolutely beautiful in the up and Northern Michigan close to the Canadian border absolutely stunning. We climb to the top of the hill right next to the Great lake and watch the sun set. And we went on pictured rocks boat tour and it was really awesome. I wouldn't mind going back there again. We traveled as much as possible over the years. Saw alot of this beautiful country ❤️We live in SW Pa. Not real far from Pittsburgh.
I never realized how beautiful Michigan was! My Husband is from Lansing, Michigan. We live in Jacksonville Florida. Now, you’ve stirred up some curiosity in me to learn more about Michigan. Thanks for sharing this great land. I am glad you let us see Kelly and her travels as well. She is certainly a strong and kind woman! Goldie
Yes, Pictured Rocks is so beautiful, Tim and I stayed in 3 one time too and then we also stayed at 4 and a habituated black bear harassed us all evening long, so we ended up having to move away from that site. He chewed his way through our tents even with no food inside the tents...ate my pillow, water bag and even the propane bottle. It was crazy and changed how we feel about backpacking. We had all food in our bear canister and were unable to have dinner since he was guarding the canisters. Some other kind campers gave us dinner that night. Scary experience. Reported it to the rangers....

Canadian Border Patrol- "Do you have weapons?" American Border Patrol- "Do you have citrus fruit?"
😂🤣
I know right. Priorities.
That's funny but true. Then we import produce from all over the world and stack it with the protected citrus.
I think you guys have the perfect relationship. Independent with individual commitments and such, but always loyal to one another. Congrats!

Being connected at the hip not for everyone. Lol
"Kind, caring and thoughtful . . ." , that's why Kelly picked you to be in her life. Thanks for the vid, Brian.
Brian & Kelly are so cute. I wished they would have 💋 goodbye on camera.

If I were a therapist, I would prescribe your videos to my patients.
I had no idea how beautiful that area is. Thank you for sharing! Best to you both!
Thanks for including the Grateful Dead appearance! To bad someone lost their $40 beach towel. Get back Truckin’ on!

I love that when you enter the United States they tell you “good luck.” They know you’re going to need it.
The Upper Peninsula of Michigan Chamber of Commerce should use this video to promote local tourism, very awesome !
