  • Born as A.S. Dileep Kumar on January 6, 1967, A.R. Rahman was destined to be one of the most phenomenal and miraculous name in the music production industry of India. But the destiny was not gifted to him by some metaphysical force, it was the mixture of his persevering and assiduous nature, his unparalleled talent, fortitude in the face of crisis and an ever increasing urge to do better music that has led to all the accolades he has received and those yet to receive!
Among many of his miracles, the soundtrack of Bombay is one of the most cherished by music lovers. And there is hardly any Indian music lover who has not heard the song “Tu Hi Re”, a song which still brings tears to listeners who are emotionally sensitive, which is why A.R. Rahman is the name of a magic!
The song , " Tu Hi Re" was originally done in a Tamil version and was titled "Uyire" and Rahman had 3 choices with him for the singer, S P Balasubramaniam, K J Yesudas and Hariharan and he took a gamble with Hariharan ,which turned out to be his best decision.
We have recreated the track keeping the essence of the original track and hope that all the listeners like it.
