that's why i got the 'irig midi interface' to hook up to an old ac/dc powered midi keyboard i already have, this irig midi interface which allows for simultaneous charging while in use (still a bit of a fiddle with the various cables/lengths but ok). it's cheaper but i may've gone for irig keys anyway if it would've allowed that too..

I have thought in 12 months. is this the best hypermobile ipad keyboard ?
