He has cybernetic enhancements in his brain and eyes, which is surprisingly rare in Star Wars, as well as modifications to allow him to use four arms independently. So the reflexes of a Jedi paired with 2-4 times the killing/deflecting power makes for what should have been nigh invincible competition.
No, not just delta squad. Take that quote from one of the loading screens: "Give me a thousand clones and I'll train you a fighting force like you've never seen" or something along those lines. Not to mention all of the ones in the books. Oh, and there were only 75 Spartan-IIs. That were successfully augmented.
I would like to point out that clone armor, even lightly (and I mean VERY lightly) shielded clone armor fairs poorly against slugs, which is what a Spartan would use, while Spartan armor is much more durable, and has significantly stronger shields. Spartans can also recover from flat-lining, as well as injuries no human could. And clones are just really good humans with nice armor.

@Lonewolfpackleader No, wrong. Most were killed in the Fall of Reach. A few survived the planets destruction. Master Chief was on Delta Halo when the rest went to Onyx, and they got trapped in a Micro Dyson Sphere. Guys. Can we talk about the music. A spartan would stab no game against a commando. The spartan assault rifle would be nothing more than a mere nuisance against commando armor. The commando could simply attach the sniper attachment and blow a a hole the size of 2l liter coke bottle in that Chinese made spartan armor
@TBEClanMovies were spartans fighting practically since birth? were they given live ammo in combat simulations when they were 5 and 10 years old at the same time? the commandos might not have as much shiney kit and bio engineering as the spartans, but they dont need to use it and they come off as less of a cheap ass copout that way. rc's are people, spartans are deus ex machina
i was going to point out the multitude of facts i know about the spartans, but then I realized that the whole argument is mute, as the Predator would kick both theyre asses.
Wow read the books. In the books a commando Jumped on a grenade. I mean really jumped on a grenade with his body over it, He survived No injuries, nothing. Just A big dent in his armor and a bit shaken. The Katarn class armor is almost invincible. The MARK III armor is the best. It can even withstand laser cannons. Ok If you took a guass rifle. Or atleast the weapon cat got shot with. They would survive. 1 becuase they are smart enough to leave their helmet on. And They have cameras that give
If it were up to me, this track wouldn't be called "Prologue," I'd call it something like "A Borther Lost," or "The Cold Brains of Kamino," and I think Jango Fett would agree with that.
@zgtfreak I remember this one star wars novel I read which said that a single Clone Commando is indeed capable of matching a Jedi Knight in hand to hand combat - I doubt however if the commando would stand a chance against the likes of Yoda, Windu, Vader or Sidius - Delta squad as a whole may be but not one on one...
Boss was very reluctant, i've played through it and Boss and Fixer were furious at the order to leave, but not like Scorch, Boss and Fixer truly hated the advisor at that moment for that one order, and it is literally in his genes to follow orders, so no matter how you look at it he had no choice, if the Clone Commandos were not augmented to so willingly take orders he would've disobeyed and gone after Sev, more than likely killing Fixer and himself or possibly Scorch finding Sev's body dead and
The RC's have got much more advanced tech, than the USMC. I love both games they both kick ass. Yes, the Spartans are stronger, as individuals indeed, but the RC's have got laser-rifle, wich is modifiable to sniper, and armor-piercing grenade :-/ In close quarters, melee combat the Spartans would win, but otherwise RC's.

33 Spartan IIs graduated from the first class, class 2 was shut down because of Halsey's strict reqs. Hundreds of commandos were deployed on Geonosis, but most of them were wiped out because the commanders didn't know the difference between Spec Ops and grunts.
Yeah, I know I'm a nerd.
badass fucking game!! i played the shit outta this game
This game is awesome.
What joco94 said, on top of the fact that only about a third of those 175 made it through graduation.
Dieser Soundtrack hat viele sehr gute Elemente... Einer der besten im Spiel =D
@SpessBrony
It was Scorch - he and Sev had a very tight bond - Boss however, took Fixer's advice and evacuated the area...
i was going to point out the multitude of facts i know about the spartans, but then I realized that the whole argument is mute, as the Predator would kick both theyre asses.
@621Chopsuey possible answer: he may have skinned a dead wookie and played dead...
@SithFTW4072
Yet clones are bred for this singular purpose, a spartan is a roulette and you choose the best one.
@UnknownLimitX if you read the commando books you find a bit more about that the book were the find him hasn't come out yet though
If it were up to me, this track wouldn't be called "Prologue," I'd call it something like "A Borther Lost," or "The Cold Brains of Kamino," and I think Jango Fett would agree with that.
@zgtfreak
I remember this one star wars novel I read which said that a single Clone Commando is indeed capable of matching a Jedi Knight in hand to hand combat - I doubt however if the commando would stand a chance against the likes of Yoda, Windu, Vader or Sidius - Delta squad as a whole may be but not one on one...
Spartans vs RC, maybe. Spartans vs the Null classe ARC, we have some dead Spartans
I turn to this for love
