Definitely interesting video and yes to AWD. I'm really reluctant to even consider a car without AWD. The only exception might be the new Stingray if the price falls far enough. Even if I get one of those I'll still secretly wish it was AWD so I could drive it in the winter. So far my '13 WRX STI has by far the best and the most ridiculously capable AWD system in dry, wet, snow or ice and I've driven hundreds of cars. It's like magic. Something to learn from Subaru for sure reflect in the 4Matic, Mercedes. The C400 and the new E Class were nowhere near in terms of grip and control. Love the design of the C Coupe inside and out though :).
The C-Class coupé would've been the best Benz if it would've minus the b-pillars like Mercedes routinely have done with E-class and S-class coupes. Great review nonetheless
Depends when you use the kinetic energy to recharge battery's, ...................besides that even when it is less fuel efficient it is a safer car..... And I think that most people don't look at some fuel when they bring their kids to school . They need it to be safe.
Schwanzel Stock A Coupe is supposed to by stylish and fun. Safety with AWD is vastly overrated. Unless it snows for 2 months a year or you live in a rural area, AWD is kinda pointless
the C300's the basic model?? are you kidding me? what about the C180/200/250?? then again it's us in Europe with the crazy car tax laws and everyone in the Americas has 3000-4000cc cars
The only thing I didn't like about the C400 compared to my Audi A6 was the lag between pulling a paddle and the transmission shifting. I was so close to getting one despite the huge price. Probably smartest to wait for depreciation. There was also no established way to mod it for more power. My '12 A6 is at 448hp through APR tuning. I'm definitely still keeping an eye on it and I will keep test driving new iterations. The M, RS and AMG versions of the German luxury sports cars are too expensive for me and I look for potential of getting more power through modding. In a couple of years I'm looking for an AWD sports car to replace my protuned 400hp WRX STI.
Mercedes picked the wrong JV partner in China...hence, not doing as well as other German brands in that market. Otherwise, Canada is no way a higher MB volume market than China.
I have been driving the c250 AMG for over a year now and IT IS A FANTASTIC CAR ALL ROUND NO COMPLAINTS
Chris goczan knows so much 🎉😂😂😮😅
Thanks Motormouth and Mercedes. Good times ahead.
Thanks .... I'm waiting for my C300 2017 ....
best review so far, pls keep them short and compact
Great video!

AWD does have a weight penalty and higher fuel consumption.
Merc clientele don't care about fuel...
