Budapest Cirkus hus:)
Fantastisk Cirkus 💖💙💛👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the tip
Hi Janus, I have never seen so much of Budapest as you have shown on this video. As always, keep up with your great work.
Greetings from NY.
Thanks so much Twii and greetings to NY 👍😊
Beautiful Budapest, which along with Prague is the most romantic city in Eastern Europe
It really is!
I am heading to Budapest this fall to work remote for 10 days, and I can't thank you enough for this video. Outstanding job !
Thank you and safe travels 👍🌺
Köszönöm! I can hardly wait to get back to Budapest and Hungary!
Me too 👍😊
Beautiful beautiful beautiful video 👍👍👍
Thank you Tariq 🙏🌺
Wow!!! This is an ultimate travel guide video! Really amazing the way you presented the beautiful Budapest! Very enjoyable, inspiring, informative and useful with the good tipps 👍 Fisherman's Bastion makes the city like a real fairytale! How did you manage to fly drone there? Thanks Janus for this brilliant video. Keep posting 🙂
Thanks so much Dina! It’s a really cool city to visit. Drone flights are permitted in most parts of the city so that was relatively easy 👍😊
Budapest has lot to see. 👍Thank you for putting together those details information.
Thanks so much Jun 👍
Very informative and helpful. Going in March. Thanks.
Thank you
Happy travels!
The architecture is amazing here. The drone videos certainly make the video comprehensive. Thanks Janus.
Thanks a lot David 👍😊
This video is so helpful, thank you. I am visiting Budapest in a couple months.
Thank you and happy travels 🌺
Great video, I'm visiting in December.
Thank you! Safe travels 👍
There’s a little mix up here with Anonymus, he was a notary and chronicle of the king end of 12th, 13th century, and has nothing to do with Bela Lugosi, the actor, who formed the character of Dracula in the American movie. His identity is unknown and still being debated, some refer to him as master P., but that is under debate, too.
Thank you for the additional info 👍
Nice to see new info in this one. Thanks for pulling it all together. Enjoy the spring weather and cherry blossoms.
Thank you very much Liz! Have a great rest of the week too 👍😊
Excellent. Informative and organized. Thank you.
Thank you for watching 👍
Thank you for these videos janus! You are making this little (very much hated by every country nowadays) country's people a little bit more proud, and happy :) We are very much welcome here everybody! (well... not in the illegal way ofc)
Thank you very much Istvan, I really appreciate. Greetings to beautiful Hungary 👍😊
Nice video thank you! Extra tips: Pál-völgyi cave, Erzsébet-kilátó + chairlift.
Thank you for the additional tips 👍
Thanks again Janus. I did the last two videos today. My biggest take away from Serbia is the ability to remember the difficult times. As hard as they are to view they are history. The US seems to want to take away memories…statues, road and school names and sweep it under the rug. I don’t know how our next generation’s will learn about things. Sorry..had to say it. Loved the nature and that river, it must have been amazing to view. Have a great week, should be good today outside.
Thanks a lot Liz, have a great week ahead
Another Fantastic video - Thank you
Thanks a lot Mark 👍😊
Say hi from thailand.nice and interesting vdo ty so much
Thank you very much and greetings to Thailand 👍
Good travel info and tips about Budapest. Thanks
Thank you for watching
Lovely video Janus, we are visiting Budapest next week so it's really useful. However, in doing some research I found out that we as over 65s have completely free public transpost in Budapest and across Hungary; how bloody marvellous! I think you should add that important info into your next video as it will draw even more of us oldies to the City.
Thank you! I indeed did not know that. Great to have this useful info 👍
Free transport ation? How does that work !
@@vanessaapicello7208 Vanessa, if you are a EU Resident, and over 65, all Public Transport in Budapest is free of charge. We know because we were recently there for 5 days. This probably saved us over 100 euros.
Very Simple. You need a photo ID. Passport, identity card, driver's license or Lions club membership. 🙂@@vanessaapicello7208
Very good video
Very watchable and great narratation Job well done 🙏🙏🙏🏴🏴🏴
Thank you very much 🙏🌺
My fawrt video 👍👍👍
Thank you for such a useful video! Congrats!
Thank you 🙏
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this splendid tour of Budapest and the tips. You clearly explain and show the sights. I can say that your video is the best about Budapest I have seen.
Thank you ☺️ I really appreciate
Thanks for the great introduction to Budapest - I have never been there but it is high on my list. So many interesting sites to see and love the yellow trams.
Thank you Linda. It’s definitely worth visiting 👍😊🌺
Nicely done. One of the best Budapest touring videos I have seen: comprehensive, respectful, well produced and edited. I've saved it to share with others. Thanks.
Thanks so much. I'm really glad you enjoyed it! 👍🌻
Tudo muito bonito dá vontade de ir visitar
I'm heading to Budapest in April. This is the very best guide I watched. Huge well done. It will help me a lot 🥰
Thanks so much! Glad it was helpful 👍🙂
Very useful video for first time tourist 👍
Thank you for watching 👍🌺
This was amazing!!! I am planning my visit and this was the best put together most comprehensive video that addressed everything about Budapest and I appreciate that. Great tips as well!! Thank you!
Thanks a lot Eva, I’m glad you found the video useful. Safe travels 👍😊
Loved this video of Budapest. I would love to go back and stay longer to experience this beautiful city.
Thank you 🙏
Cool! Thank you!!
Thank you for watching 👍🌺
Your videos are not just informative and magnificently shot, they are so calming with your choice of music and relaxed demeanor. Thank you friend 🙏🙏✌🏻
Thank you so much, I really appreciate 👍
Great videos thank you so much
Thank you for watching
Thanks this will help.. we will be there in June.
Awesome, wishing you a safe journey. I’m sure you will like Budapest 👍😊
So great! Do you bath in thermal springs? That place is so beautiful! Thanks for the video✨and have a nice week
Thank you, yes, the thermal baths there are really special 👍😊
From Sweden...great video.....
Thank you and greetings to beautiful Sweden 🇸🇪
Great video! The statue of Anonymus however is not from Béla Lugosi, we dont know who it was. The kings name at that time was Béla III. (third). Béla Lugosi was the famous Dracula actor in the black and whit films
Thank you for the correction. I must have mixed this up in my research
Fun fact. The Pairlament and the basilica are the same exact hight to symbolize that faith and state should be in balance, none stronger to rule the other.
Thank you for sharing 👍👍
It worth to travel this country.
Ir really is F. 👍😊
nice😊
Thank you 🙏
well done
Thank you Paul 👍
Wow! I love this video format. Where can I download your map recommendations please? 😍
Thank you! Unfortunately I only prepared the map for the video but maybe just take a screenshot?
Wow beautiful video. Love the aerial drone shots. Which time of the year did you visit? I don't see any crowds. What is the best way to get to the citadella? The view looks amazing. Thanks
Thank you,
This was recorded in the month of July. The easiest way to get up Buda hill is with the funicular. It’s a short and nice ride.
@@januslog thank you for the tip. Go to buda hill then walk south to the citadella?
@@b3arwithm3 The walk to the citadella is going through a forest. It’s quite nice and the views on the city are great but the citadella might still be closed for renovations. You may want to skip and just do Buda hill which also offers great city views
@@januslog got it. Thank you. I saw in your videos the good shots from buda castle 👍
Great informative video. I would have thought there are more cheaper options from getting from the airport into town than a taxi?
Yes, there are busses going as well but I don’t have the details on those unfortunately
Thank you for such an interesting video. However, I have a question - how do you deal with the Hungarian language, which
is very different from major European languages? Do they have inscriptions, in English, everywhere? In contrast, when I was
in Italy, I understood, that "stazione" is a railway station, although I didn't speak Italian at all. Greetings from Canada, Alex
Thank you Olek. I didn’t find English to be a problem. Most people speak English and most menus come with English translation.
❤💙💛Budapest Ungern 👍👍👍👍👍

Dear Janus, regards from Budapest. I would like to use some shots of this video on my spanish version of something alike this magnificent one. May I use it in my channel? of course I would credit you expressly in every shot. Regards from Budapest. I like the fact you enjoy our country ♥
Thank you for asking Ferenc. That’s okay and thanks for providing credit
This is a great video for first timers planning their first like me! May I ask where I can download that landmarks map shown in the beginning of your video, please? It looks really useful and I'm sure will help me and others a great deal. Thanks in advance!
Thanks so much Yosita, I’m glad you found the video useful. Unfortunately, I only created this map for the video and don’t have it online anywhere. But maybe you can screenshot it? Safe travels 👍😊
@@januslog That's all right and thanks for allowing me to take a screenshot. I sent you a DM via insta yesterday. Please kindly check?
Thanks for the video. Very helpful! Just one question : Do i hv to pay for use of toilets, if yes, how much ?
Thank you!
Tbh I don’t know. But I know the toilets in the museums are free and clean and that’s what I would use.
HUF 150, HUF 200 in shopping malls with card, phone, etc. can also be paid. (0.5 euros)@@januslog
Budapest ist eine sehr schöne stadt
It really is 👍🌺

I have been watching your videos of Central Europe and really like what I saw. So I decided to visit Budapest, Vienna, and Prague this summer. Do we need to change our phone SIM card when we cross the borders? Airfare is crazy high compared to Western Europe 😞Thanks
I’m glad the videos inspired you 👍😊
It depends on whether you have an international roaming contract but local SIMs will likely be cheaper. Probably best to move around by train. If you want to save in airfare pick the cheapest location in Central Europe to fly into and then take the train to Vienna/Budapest from there. Safe travels.
Very nice video and a lot of information, but the music was distributed and we couldn't heard very well. I think unnecessary that music in the video.
Sorry about the music and thanks for the feedback
Do you need cash forints for small entrance fees or can they be paid for with credit or Apple Pay ?
Most places accept credit card but I still always carry a bit of local currency with me
Is tipping compulsory in Europe or optional? In our country even we tip the waiter refuses to accept anything mentioned beyond the bill.
I think it depends. People tend to round up or give a bit extra but it’s not like in the US where tips are compulsory and make up a big part of people’s salary
It's included in the price, you can see it on the invoice. 10%
how long does it take from Vienna to Budapest by train? Thanks💐
It’s about 4.5 hours by train and quite convenient 👍😊

How do I get the maps on your Budapest Map and list of sites?
Hi Lori, I unfortunately don’t have a published version of the map. I just produced the map for my video. But I hope the video map gives you a good idea of the tour
can you provide us the map for visiting places?
Any link?
Thank you for watching. Unfortunately I don’t have any maps online
I only create them for my videos. But it’s a good idea. Maybe I’ll upload them somewhere in the future
Can this all be done in 1 or 2 days?
You will need at least 2 days and those will be quite packed. I think 3 days would be better to truly enjoy all sites
How Mach cash you recommend to have?
Very difficult to say as it really depends on what you want to do. I wouldn’t walk around with too much cash as many museums and larger places accept cards.
Seems to me if one is narrating a video about a city the person would first learn to properly pronounce the names of streets and places.
Yeah, I definitely butchered some of the names. Sorry about that
Budapest is wonderful, but beware of taxis.... He takes you to the desctination, then the taxi driver tells you how much it costs,,,,,,,,the ride cost 7,000 forints, I gave him 10,000 Then he lied to me that I only gave him 1000 forints and he was waiting for the rest... I've experienced this twice......... Pay attention to taxes.......... Only those that have a watch and are companies like> taxi bold but never write only taxi..... ATTENTION
