Thanks to this tutorial, I've been able to play along with Traktor. Takes DJ'ing to another level. I didn't think the Mikro could be quite this useful. It may not be the ideal for live performance, but it's close enough for me.
@@Alvaro_93 just turn on Ableton link, it works even without ableton. The problem is that the master tempo becomes the master for both programs, overriding the track tempo controls. Advantages of cheating really work some incredibly layered magic because you don't have to worry about syncing every piece of music.
@@Alvaro_93 As Mr Ford explained. There's a "link" button. On top of this though you must check in your preferences/settings in both Maschine and Traktor. Look for the total latency and play about with the settings to get both the Traktor and Maschine software as close as possible and as low as possible. With both softwares running my pc can run both at around 12.8 ms of total latency. The further the distance of latency between the softwares, the firtger they'll be out of sync
how do you record this start to finish though. i mean i can arrange it by hand on the pc but if you could explain how to record it as a whole like this, that would be awesome
The extension is really good, it is really easier to write a track with it, but I think first you need to implement two expansion that you already have.
Hello sir, I am planning to get into finger drumming. So I am thinking of getting this Mikro Mk3 as my first controller. I want to know have you faced any issues with it so far like Ghost note triggering issues or more? I have heard from some Mikro Mk3 users that they have faced the ghost note triggering issues with it. So would love to know your experience with it.
Maschine MK3 is great for finger drumming. I didn't run into the ghost note problem, maybe I just wasn't paying attention. I also have an Ableton Push 2, it's much more difficult to do finger drumming on it, but it has no problems with velocity.
Just ordered mines! Can't wait!!!
Just was searching what can be perform on such devices and found your Performance. Thank you! It inspire me

Mikro is not ideal for live, but it can work perfectly together with Push 2 in ableton, in live session mode.
How do you sync your maschine with traktor??

I recorded separately the video from the phone and the sound on the PC. And then synchronized it in a video editor.
This is great!!!
What effect were you changing at 4:45?
Massive - Basic Preset , just +1 octave.

can u help in learning to play Mikro mk3 live?
How this thing works? Seems that there is some kind of sidechain compresion to the kick. I remember me Arturia Sparkle.
This is a midi controller connected to the DAW Maschine. Yes, on the bass line, the compressor is in sidechain mode with a kick trigger.
Easy peasy
Really nice man. Which sound did you use?
Thank You. Glad you liked It.
I Use Maschine2 DAW - Indigo Dust Expansion - Awakening Kit

are these factory samples that come with the maschine?
No, something from techno packs, I don't remember exactly, it was a long time ago. Try Loopcloud or Splice, there are a lot of cool samples.
