I love Gayle King who is able to keep her own thoughts in line in a nice way but Norah was constantly making negative facial expressions on anything Conservative or about Trump. Then they put her as a CBS news anchor! I can't think of anyone less desirable to bring the news in a non partisan way. So, now I don't watch the evening news from any of the major channels. I'm hopeful for the message, but the ending lacked the reassurance that the American people are looking for. Simply saying "with integrity" doesn't inspire. We want honesty. And we want humility. We want the media to start putting effort into approaching stories on current issues with curiosity, and without an agenda. We want journalists to practice objectivity, and not act as though they are the arbiter of truth. Ethical journalism of the kind pioneered by SS McClure would be a welcome return to the glory days of reporting.
