It's interesting how the buzzsaw propeller aircraft-like noise from the engines only happen during take-off and during the aircraft climbing time. The noise must be the result of the extra power that the engines need to lift the plane to higher heights. But the second noise, the main noise really, the scraping sound that is most prominent to jet aircrafts in general, that sound gets louder when getting close to cruising altitudes. I wonder if the scraping noise is more connected to speed while the buzzsaw noise is more connected to climb. The scraping is louder at cruising altitude because the speed of the aircraft is over 500 mph by then, the scraping noise level is the speed power level. The scraping sound dies down again during descent since the aircraft speed is getting slower, and the combination of decreased scrape noise/speed power along with no buzzsaw power like at take-off is what's needed to lower the aircraft down to lower altitudes. I don't know how accurate I am on all of this, but that's how I've guessed it works.
Think again about Los Angeles. The city is usually layered in an ugly smog. You're lucky to see Long Beach and Los Angeles Harbor here. Notice the white looking bleh in the distance along the rim of the mountains. Der Stadt Los Angeles ist sehr schmutzig und nicht nett. Gehen Sie um urlaubmachen nach San Francisco oder Washington, D.C. Aber, die Berge am 23.00 is sehr schon.
This ones only a year old but has the US Airways configuration of 187 seats with 32" pitch and no TV's. Not sure if it will get any changes but AVOD actually adds quite some weight.
LOVE flying into and out of my home airport! Once the clouds cleared, you fly over my hometown of Palos Verdes, then can see LA Harbor, Long Beach Airport, Naples, and the sometimes-seen-thru-the-smog San Bernardino Mountains.
Looks it! Short flight too. Of course it was a dog getting out of Denver when I had it but that's what a full cabin, mile-high altitude, and a 3.5 hour ride will do.
Wow, N584UW was the last plane I flew on. Took it from Denver to Philadelphia on AA481 last August. Neat to see you have at least one "mutual plane" to me.
Just checked out this plane on the American page on planespotters. It was new in 2014 with US Airways. All their planes are now branded American. The engines are IAE which is mostly Pratt & Whitney. Pratt was one of 5 partners which included Rolls Royce originally but RR sold their share to Pratt and now I read Pratt has a total share of 61%. That must be why IAE moved their headquarters to Hartford. That is where P&W is located. And the new Purepower Geared Tubro has the same three partners but it's branded Pratt & Whitney and not International Aero Engines.
Dan. Did I hear them Welcome You aboard as a frequent flyer? Great video as usual. Still waiting to learn more about how you are able to fly so much. Thanks.
+gerald kokra I've noticed Dan is unsurprisingly quiet about his finances,he's not obligated to reveal to us how he pays for his many travels-I've come up with two wild theories as to how he affords his trips but will keep them to myself!
+Jason Moors Hi Jason, I'm glad you theorized about how I finance all this haha! I'm actually going to start a video series on how I afford to travel very soon :)
The smaller Airbus models are notorious for that godawful hydraulic pump noise during engine startup;I didn't detect any of that racket on this flight during pushback--the captain was in no hurry to head inland--we takeoff to the west over a vast sea of clouds for some miles, make a left turn towards the east and head south, hugging the coastline, seemingly almost to San Diego if not Orange County--looking at the cloud line,am wondering if it was headed east over central LA eventually?
Typical low a.m. cloud deck. Punch through the cloud deck, climb to about 25,000 (I'm guessing something like that) before heading back over land to help mitigate aviational noise on the ground where everyone lives. If the flight is running late then the climb to 25,000 feet can be quite quick to help catch up on time. Otherwise the climb to 25,000 usually takes about twice as long in order to save on overhead / fuel. In addition to the humming noise, there is also the usual vibrations about half way down the runway and then again right at wheels up. The humming noise is further reduced once leveling out....it's really no big deal for those who've never flown on an AirBus.
AA has always flown Boeing and McD/D historically. However, they inherited an Airbus fleet when they purchased US Airways. I believe they will be replacing all the Busses with Boeings as their service life is reached.
That Buzzsaw Sound Though! 🤤🤤

The cloud cover was amazing to view!
+Yuri Mannix I agree and it's not often you see clouds over LA!
Yea,everithing was just cought at the right moment.
iNDEED!!

That Airbus shot up like a good old B757 does, love it. And that engine sound is exquisite.
Wow! what a spectacular view from the air, well done! 👍👍👍
Very spectacular views once they got past the clouds at around 18:00
wow! Absolutely amazing takeoff!
Love those turbines! Classic A-321 sound.
You are such a guy!!😂😂😂
@@crystalslayer1 wow! Good observation!
so nice to hear the whine of those Baby Bus engines!
One of the steepest A321 initial climbs I've ever seen...
Awesome! My brother was in Las Vegas yesterday and he flown on an JetBlue A321 to get there!
Flying over here in long beach and seal beach

Such incredible roar after takeoff!
Another stunning video, thank you my friend!
Awesome takeoff that was cool....love that engine sound!
Beautiful as always !! :)
So glad AA has these A321s now. Can't wait to see what the final cabin config will look like. Great video!
+AmericanAirDFW Yeah they're nice!
This ones only a year old but has the US Airways configuration of 187 seats with 32" pitch and no TV's. Not sure if it will get any changes but AVOD actually adds quite some weight.
Wow! Stunning! Keep it up :)
Great scenery and good view of the wings. I really envy you for being able to fly so frequently Dan!
+FlyCruise Singapore I'm very fortunate, indeed! Glad you liked the video!

nice roaring sound
Very good Video!!! Three weeks later I did the same Route with an US-Airways A321. To see L.A. from above is very impressive.
Nice thrust reduction and views !
nice Job Dantorp
Nice video! Especially the sound is great!
Nice Flight Video Bud.
+scotrail82 Thanks man!
very fast takeoff and climbing
Looks it! Short flight too. Of course it was a dog getting out of Denver when I had it but that's what a full cabin, mile-high altitude, and a 3.5 hour ride will do.

the clouds were just very low
First good vid keep up 😂
Wow, N584UW was the last plane I flew on. Took it from Denver to Philadelphia on AA481 last August. Neat to see you have at least one "mutual plane" to me.
Nice Video
Seems it was a quick vertical take-off as the aircraft rapidly crossed through the clouds after taking-off.
Man TOGA departure
Seems like they reduced power sooner than normal after takeoff?
Good video! I was also on aa a321 but just from
Piarco Trinidad to MIA. Keep up the good videos/work bro!(I used Caribbean airlines 737-800 to return)
Aw you forgot to zoom in on the Queen Mary while flying over Long Beach. :(
As usual beautiful Video.

very nice video, but you need a bigger videicamera to zoom in for that mountains.
Amazinggg!!!!
Great video. Amazing sound on takeoff. This A321 a brand new without sharklets?
+KhunPaulflyer It was for US Airways but now it no longer exist and has been made into AA.
A CRAZY THRUST !!!!!more than 92% !!!!
Sounds almost full throttle to me; compressor buzz is completely drowned out
That's AMAZING !!!
That seemed to accelerate much faster than usual ??
what is this sound at around 14:12? Otherwise nice video
Amazing! Where you heading to?? :-p
Uranus
+PlaneMaster6 Phoenix.
good vd
How do you have all this money to travel?
+The Train Maniac i thought the same
+gerald kokra I've noticed Dan is unsurprisingly quiet about his finances,he's not obligated to reveal to us how he pays for his many travels-I've come up with two wild theories as to how he affords his trips but will keep them to myself!
+The Train Maniac Have you ever considered that he could be wealthy?
+Jason Moors Hi Jason, I'm glad you theorized about how I finance all this haha! I'm actually going to start a video series on how I afford to travel very soon :)
+The Train Maniac I have a video series coming soon to reveal part of how I can do it!
was the take of speed up or was the aircraft actually took off that fast?
Fran437 It was the real speed.
Im on a trip to L.A soon and wanted to know how long how long it would take to get there from London Gatwick if anyone knows...
Wow! LAX is huge! Which US airport has the largest runway/apron area by acreage or square feet? Does anyone know?
Largest airport in the world would be Hartsfield-Jackson/Atlanta International Airport
Let me guess, hmmm, I'll go for halfway through video....
Dude your fsx looks so realistic, send me the link for your mods.

22:16 on the left quarter of the screen : Disneyland
I gueese that was maximum engine power at the beginning of takeoff :)
Dantorp can you fly Garuda Indonesia,If you fly it Don't fly short flight you will get short aircraft

I don't understand why some AA a321s have tvs in the back of the seats and the AA 767s have the old fashion style interior.
One good way is that have a family member who works with an airline to get you there discount
In 2000 era time period do they really need the non smoking flight announced anymore???
I'm scared.
hey btw I'm traveling to Hawaii in 9 days so exited but its a 5 hr flight :/ but anyways I'm just sayin this now XD
Don't worry it'll go by fast. I travel 13 hours to Europe :)
xXoOPersonOoXx 4719561 It took me 10 hours and 45 minutes to travel to Hawaii from Newark.
Dayummmm. That left engine sure is noisy
American airline company named "American Airlines" , but the plane is European.

Please and thank you the airbus planes that service Charlotte on cross country flights are terrible as they are the old US planes
Noisy bugger.
Quel drôle de bruit ces moteurs ...!!! 1 heure avec cela dans les oreilles .... non merci , je préfère Boeing .....
computer created. obvious
Oh yes
Full throttle
146kph
