Awesome. Was thinking they had to be getting close to 500 with this hot streak they've been on.
Snell gettin an awful lot of money and support. A ton of fans bought a ticket knowing this may be his last start as a Giant and he decides not to pitch. When you know you already secured at least a 5 year deal with any team you choose, prob should've thrown 5. At least lie and say you're hurt like the other guys do. He commented something like, since either team isn't contending...WITHOUT THE FANS, YOU DON'T MAKE A DIME DUDE. THE GAME IS ENTERTAINMENT. YOU WANT TO EARN 40 MILL A YEAR, ENTERTAIN THE FANS, WITHOUT US, YOU'RE NOT WORTH ANYTHING.

Don't understand why carpenter is getting these at bats when you have Luken Baker
Some of you people still don't get it that Mozeliak requires analytics for game decision-making. Under analytics, you don't send Baker, a right-handed hitter, up there to pinch hit against a right-handed pitcher. Analytics requires a pinch hitter who bats left-handed against a righty, if you have one available on the bench.
Carpenter has had a couple of bad days in SF, and probably wishes he didn't get sent up there, the way these umpires are creating strike zones that move on each pitch.
I agree!!! Doesn't make any sense playing Carp for the future of the Cardinals..
Luken Baker batted .334 avg in 2023 in Memphis with 440 obp. and only 76 strike outs and
an 1.159 ops.
with 33 home runs.
I just can't believe the Cardinals are wasting him away with numbers like that in 2023..He probably would have reached 40 hrs. also in 2023 but they wasted him away that year by bringing him up and sitting him on the bench..I can't stand the way

Nootbar's the best guy to have up with a runner on third and less than two outs... for the opposition. Notice how he swung for the fences with two strikes in that first at-bat?

This was an intense game! Can't believe we came back! Now we need to win the series tomorrow 9/29 to have a tied record to conclude the 2024 season & hope Birdsong does well tomorrow for the last game. It would be so great if we have a tied record AT LEAST. Go Giants! 🧡🖤
