if any of you guys are having trouble with your wrist stretching when you move, move the poles on your wrist slightly out like you did with Rpole and Lpole then do CTRL+P and click with automatic weights again

TIP: If part of your arm/wrist is stretching when you rotate your arm, move the little poles on the wrists slightly outwards like you did with Rpole and Lpole

BTW, if you do use the mirror modifier you can check if the normals are flipped with the workbench options(shading drop down) through backface culling OR face orientation in the viewport overlays, and then invert the normals with |edit mode ->face -> normals -> flip|

I have my model in unity but when I load in the arms are either rotating the wrong way or the arms are going to the wrong shoulder, and o tried to switch the pole they are connected to but nothing happened.

I need help with some thing when I click the envelope weight thing the fingers broke and would not move with the arm but when I used auto weight It broke the wrist and it would not move with the arm can you help?

When i put the model in with the armature with auto weight thing and i move the rig in pose mode, the rig moves on itselfs without the model. help me
So I had the same problem so what I did is I went to the scene collection (top right) I clicked the armature, Then entered pose mode, (top left) then selected the base and pressed a for all bones in the armature. Then I went back to the scene collection and while I was selecting all bones and I was holding the control key then clicked on the model. Then I pressed Ctrl and p and selected parent with auto weights. Hope this helps!!!

you will, you cant make seperate bones for the hands n stuff that would make the player not able to move cause the bones are there for a reason

If anyone else was having trouble clear parent/ alt p, go to the collection (top right) and click on the child bone there. Then you should be able to clear the parent fine

Just make a model without body and arms then do the armature the same way and it will work
