2nd: products ( I used Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing smoothie, water, mousse, & gel)
3rd: get you a braid down-dookie braids, Ceily braids etc, pinned up twists or plaits and clip them bad boys in 😃

Did it finally work for you!!! I honestly felt that way too when I tried to put them in with all my hair out. The braid down is so convenient

Kiera Jones girllll I honestly prefer a braid down! I’m going to attempt a “non” braid down style again soon to see if I can do something different but I think it’s more manageable when minimum hair is left out. 🖤

Sasha Holsey yay!! Love to hear success stories! Girl I felt the same way too until I learned this method. It’s basically a braid down like a sew in with clip ins. I need to stop being so neat with the braid down because juicier braids are just as good!

Yea let me gone and order these extensions I’m sold honey... UPDATE: The hair sheds and tangles a lot, also I seen another UA-camr receive a huge bundle full of hair mine was skimpy & small.
Jayla Johnson mine were really full but yes they do shed. I also colored mine so I wasn’t sure if that was the reason why.

I purchased from better length a few years ago. Worn my clips in maybe 2x. Sheds badly not worth the price. I purchased the non curly pattern.

The front of my hair is so heat damaged it didn’t even match the texture when dry. I didn’t realized I don’t need so much leave out, thanks for the video!

hiii gorgeous, i have a question. my clip-ins are crunchy, all i used was shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie, but my curls are tighter than yours even after that, even though i got the 3b-3c as well… yours look so elongated and more wavy, what did i do wrong ? 😭
update: I FIGURED IT OUT. i missed the gel part, went back and did it and it’s so beautiful ! i had to dye my leave out because my hair is damn near orange sooo 🥴 thank you for this tutorial, you’re an angel ! 😍

Ashlee J Heyyy omg. Sorry so late but tbh I prefer the braid down because it’s so much more secure. I noticed after the first video that the clip ins would slip or feel looser because my hair is not as thick to just have clip ins hanging on for dear life lol

Do you leave them in or take them down every night? I'm looking for an alternative to braiding my hair down and letting it grow in weaves...I'm wondering if I can just leave these in.... 🤔
It’s suggested not to on the hair care pamphlet but I do lol. Especially with the braid down method. I don’t sleep wild so I didn’t think it’d be too harsh on them
Yeah they suggest you take them out but her way of putting them in on a protective style makes it easy to leave them in for a night or two without damage.

Do you take your clip ins out everyday or do you leave them in? Also can you leave them in if you have a braid down?
Hey! With a braid down I leave them in. I just sleep with them in a pineapple with a satin bonnet.
Your clips ins are so defined and less tightly curled. Did u condition them first and use products before installing them?
Heyy, 3b/3c is a looser coil texture. This video was my 2nd install on these clip ins but even the first one wasn’t tight. I with new installs I condition and use light curl products
@@AshTakeOff oh ok got ya. Yeah I just ordered mine in 3b/3c texture 16 inch. I am so excited yet so nervous because ppl keep saying that their clips in are horrible and sheds bad over time because their China based company. Is this true, did you experience this with yours?
@@Monique-mn9of all curly hair I have ever had sheds but it’s never excessive because I try not to brush it often. I finger detangle as much as possible so even with the hair I have purchased and not sponsored it holds up good

I like when my hair gets old so it lasts over a week before I need to refresh the curls or take it out. That’s the convenience of it. Also it’s 1 set of 10 clip ins!!

Yes I actually have a video putting them in a ponytail. I wouldn’t suggest trying a slick back from this exact method because it won’t be sleek/flat

Kiara Lewis hey after the second install I learned to not manipulate it too much, if I do I used a wide tooth comb when damp or my fingers to detangle. I noticed it doesn’t shed much when I do that. Most curly hair I’ve had does shed. We naturally brush it out and define the curls so much that we tugging on it too much

I got these in 3b/3c as well 16”. My ending curl pattern once dry is a much tighter curl. What kind of mousse are you using to make a looser curl?
A tighter curl may mean it’s the 3c/4a texture! But if not, I style when the hair is wet and use Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and Garnier fruit is leave in and the serum as my finisher. I use mousse as a refresher throughout the week if needed.
