I think my ureeka moment came when I realized that a better way to get past my own failures and shortcomings was to write off the effort as a learning opportunity. we all call ourselves life long learners, but when I do, I really mean it. before it, it made sense to me to throw as many eggs as I can into as many baskets that I could find, more like taking my chances, but as it turns out, the repetitive nature of the task is what actually got me.. not that it was boring, but because I got caught up with it to an extent where I couldn't even predict whether it will or it wont lead to success, I went the distance and discovered the end the hard way. it was a learning experience because then I could tell that I lacked the knowledge to predict before hand that there is a chance for success.. anyways, I find what causes me to be excited also leads me into the unknown, meaning, I eventually hit a dead end and sadness takes over.
because, honestly, where excitement ends, exploration begins... excitement then is like your disposable income which you could spend in your own creative way, some buy a retro attari set, while others take their family on a cruise.. to each our own.
I am made to host these legends, marvel, the bullet train, russos, drakes while knowing full well there is no way I can keep pace with them in real time.. maybe that is why I jump the gun sometimes, I quickly bring myself to a halt when I accidently interrupt someone, inadvertently, if startled, then I just want to just run away and hide, until things calm down.. I may not be an expert in everything I do but I sure know when to and when not to... impress...
if I fail, then learning is part of the journey. it is the desire to be able to predict the outcome, the next time around which... leads back to a state of excitement.. and then you listen to the circle of life song... and feel like a part of the natural world.. and not feel stuck and waiting... why wait when you can do something more rewarding like hey....... netflix is a great idea...!
