  • Toad the Wet Sprocket played "Come Down" for the first time at a concert on April 12th, 1997 at Buffalo Bayou Park in Houston, TX during an Earth Day concert. The song was subsequently released on their album Coil and became the first single from the album (topping out at 13th on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart). "Come Down" continues to be played at Toad concerts to this day. The song, however, featured a unique quality for several years when the band's road manager, Joe Lyons, joined the band on cowbell for the song. This performance of "Come Down" featuring Lyons is from that era and was recorded by Jeff Lester at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, CA on November 4th, 2011. Jonathan Kingham joins the band on keyboards for this version that was recorded using the following equipment:
    Video: Kodak Playsport
Audio: Core Sound HEB (DPA4061 to Batt Box) Edirol R-09HR
