After living in the Golden area since the 90's, I just moved out here to western CO. a month ago. This is the first local destination of the area that I am presenting on this channel. I'm sure there will be many more to come. Plus, this should prove to be a good route for training for the high mtn. climbs. Living out here puts me closer to the San Juans as well. For videos of other full mtn. hikes and climbs: ua-cam.com/play/PL_-D3-4b6xbqY9qs5cN_QFTiqs4gNUstL.html. Thanks for watching! -CT
Thanks so much - mighty cordial of you! I came across this mtn not long after moving to the area a few months ago. In addition to the captivating drop-off vista at the top, among other things, it has become my main local go-to trail for getting in high mtn climb shape. Its steepness is ideal for that. Happy trails! -CT
Interesting - so someone else had the same idea. Really, I left more because I wanted to get out of there. I won't enumerate the reasons why, because I keep this channel as a 'happy place,' but suffice it to say I could no longer endure what it has become there, materially or psychologically. The plus side is I ended up here, where I look forward to new adventures.

Short and steep. Gets your attention every time.
Yes, that it does!
Congrats on the move to GJ. Karl Decker moved to GJ from Golden last year and maybe you two can hook up for a trip to the San Juan together
